Dont mind me, just putting my birthday in Lotus Organizer that I got free with my computer
GameSpy 3D loaded.
Time for some QuakeWorld Team Fortress.
See you in -=ZaP=- MegaTF, Biscuit MegaTF, or sol.net CustomTF.
Guys! Anyone have one of these? I want to get mine pregnant.
Can't argue with that.
>pic related - next in line
I forget the name of them but they were these little sheep buddies that ran all over your desktop.
there was also these fruits too, turns out the fruits and sheep were complete malware. We installed them on the library computers, at the time we were using netscape navigator
Guys, how the fuck do I get the old cunt out of the vacuum thing?
This was a little later, but when I was like 12 I'd spend hours slowly downloading pizza on kazza.
First game I ever had.
Two great, non-Half-Life shooters. Really liked DF's distance gameplay.
Nothing can match some of those early jerk sessions
I remember once I went to the library and paid like, £5 per hour of internet or some shit, I had one goal to download a porno and take it home. A 5 minute video of a redhead wanking herself off took about 12 floppy disks. No goddamn joke.
>playing this for 8 hours at a shot
I used to grab a ton of those discs while walking outside of walmart so I could use them as throwing discs and targets when we went out to Minong.
I loved Half Life so god damn hard.
Anyone ever play Comanche Gold?
How about Duke Nukem 1 and 2?
Rise of the Triad?
Was going to post Roller Coaster Tycoon, but that came out in 1999.
Ah... the memories. I remember finally getting a PC that was able to play this and the original counter strike... good times, I wish there was still a point to having LAN parties these days..
We learn that this faggot is born, the Chernobyl virus starts spreading, and kids start watching Elmo's World. We also learn that Frank Sinatra died.
If we keep this going until September 9th, 1999 (9-9-99), I PROMISE YOU that everyone's name who this was sent to will be in the Guinness Book of Records. I HAVE PROOF! I E-MAILED THEM & TOLD THEM I WOULD START ONE & THEY SAID THEY'D SAVE A SPOT FOR US IN THE 2000 Special addition!
So, if we keep this going...We'll all be a part of the book!
So please, have some heart and send this to a few people. It would really be nice. You get something out of it too! So, send this right now!
Thanks very much!
DN 1 and 2 were grand, loved RoTT as well.
Raise you a Strife.
Who's excited for Monday Nitro in a couple days? I wonder how long Goldberg's winning streak will last.
His opinions on youtube are surprisingly accurate
"There used to be an incredible variety of stuff on youtube. Now it is just a pile of clips 5 year olds recorded with their cell phones - with advertisements. And their recent update made it incompatible with my computer. All the good stuff (much of which you will never see on US television.) has migrated over to various peer-to-peer sites. "
fucking steel panthers
fucking still no remake
My sister would make up stupid chain letters telling people to delete certain files in system32 because they're actually viruses.
My dad would spend a lot of money on shit, mostly for our sisters.
We had two phone lines put in the house so my sisters could have their own phone line all to themselves, and the main level and basement line for everyone else.
My sisters would use both phone lines and set up a party line so they can talk to all of their friends at once.
I can't even fathom the phone bill for those two.
If you played this, you're fucking awesome.
Sites that still appear as they did in the 90's.
The creepy thing about the cult site is the RED ALERT was alerting the members to kill themselves, and they did lol. I was only in 7th grade when it happened but I remember that shit like it was yesterday.
can you niggers handle this nostalgia right thurr
I know this is from 97, but I Iove this fucking game.
Also, lest we forget...
This guy. aahh... I remember downloading songs at 5.5kbs. Good times.
The person that's hosting the site probably forgot about it.
The only reason why it's still up is because the server hosting the files has yet to be taken down.
Unless for some fluke the files were backed up and put on a new server.
great move imo
that's the future economy no doubt
fuck the oil
but...but, do you trust the banking system to keep your money safe?
there should be an alternative, some kind of digital age money system
Who remembers this piece of shit design?
Many promotiona domains were bought for extended periods, 10 or 20 years. They are the property of the company producing whatever is being promoted and as such require protection.
Companies like Time Warner have massive server resources and evidentally have not moved to the "cloud", or if they have it's a direct move with no updating. Those old sites are awesome nostalgia and there's still a bunch online. In the case of the Space Jam one it's likely because it's a complete project and it's no ones job to get rid of it and what purpose would that serve anyway? It's not like they profit from taking it down, it's hardly a drain on bandwidth, even if it was the cost of bandwidth is negligible for tiny companies, for corporations it likely doesn't even make it on to the balance sheets.
The heavensgate.com domain name is registered until December 2016 and was last updated in December 2013, so whoever is maintaining that site bought three years of domain registration.
Anyone remember a site from the 90's called www.chatcom.com? It was big before all the yahoo/msn chatrooms. I always went in a the one called "teenchat" and chatted with "teens."
Anyone been to the top of these two? Going there with my family next weekend.
Guys, they just announced Team Fortress 2, I'm so excited! Game is going to be so realistic, definitely not all cartoon-like and shitty.
Ah, classic film. Great for a double feature with Killer Klowns.
There was a game on Windows '95.
It was called bubba or some shit.
You had this little guy and you had to get through a maze with ladders and shit.
Can't find this game for the life of me.
Came on a floppy.
I'm using it right now
>inb4 star trek fan
>inb4 shit music
I dunno, I prefer foobar.
Not 90s I know, but still.
What a great year this is turning- ...well shit.
had one of those when i was 16. found out there was a way to connect it to a phone and get shitty cell internet. never worked, but somehow i ended up making a call from the palm pilot that began years of never ending calls from telemarketers in india to my moms phone.
i fucking miss playing snake on there
When the chat rooms got fully taken over by porn bots and pedrofiles, it was time to leave - but I miss the great arguments with people across the world over trivial things like wrestling.
I would use the IM still but i want to preserve my childhood.

Seriously, because of threads like this i so want to set up a machine like a Pentium 1 at 333MHz running Windows 98 and some old school programs.
Or even an older comp running Win3.11.
Guys, why haven't I seen this gem yet? I still play this to to this day. Even the servers are still up come on people.
