So I dont actually know much about the mechanics of cars so I need some help.

Pretty soon Im gonna be selling my current car and getting either a 2006 or 2008 Audi A6 Quattro, the v8 version. After I get it I would like to add at least 1 turbo to it, twin if I can afford it and if it will fit/work. But I have been told that turbos decrease the life of the engine, I want a nice car but I dont want to only have it for a year.

i feel you dude i wanna slap a turbo on the vr6 but im not trying to wreck my shit either. i dont think turbos take away from the life of the engine as much as when people put a turbo on a car they wanna use it so they start going fast and beating the shit out of it and i think thats really what does it i feel like if you were to put a turbo on it and drive like you normaly would (unless you always just beat the shit out of cars haha) then youll be fine but im not positive just a thought

Honestly I dont want a car thats going to win be street races with 16 year olds.

I want a car that I can use to have fun, work on it by adding the turbos myself, repair anything myself just have a general good time with friends.

And every once in awhile when I get a qt3.14 in the passenger seat I can gun it and when those turbos kick in she grips the seat and pushes against the back rest.
