Serious advice to OP: this is because your brain puts food in the "commodity" section, so reaches for it every time you have any other problem (anxiety, stress, sadness, your favorite show is not on TV etc.) and compensates for it with food.
You should start treating food as a treasure that's given to you as a reward for some other activity. Say - working out for 15 minutes is 150 kcal. However much you can work out for the day, that's how much kcal you can eat for the day.
This makes food scarce, as you need to trade it for something else you must do.

Activating almonds is as simple as soaking them for 12 hours in water, then draining them and drying them for 24 hours on low heat.
