I'm sorry you've never heard of some of the greatest Mods people made for original Half Life. You should look into them, I think they were part of the reason people paid so much attention to the series long before 2 even came out. Action Half Life, Scientist Hunt, they were both wonderful. Go youtube that shit, and hey maybe enough time has passed that you can steal the ideas and bring them to a brainstorming session for alternate HL stuff to implement.
