Besides, There's still plenty of interest in the women. Just look at the catalog, there's 11 threads about female wrestlers, not counting these one. They sell plenty of merch, they give the male fans something to fap to and they provide the WWE with publicity in media appearances.

Even if they were utterly shit at wrestling and not remotely entertaining(which I disagree with, but let's pretend you're right) they still contribute a lot to the company.

But it doesn't matter anyway because you're just trying to troll.

the bellas and paige do more and bigger PR than almost everyone on the roster except like the top, top male talent. paiges figure was one of the best selling toys on the entire roster at some point. ringsidecollectibles announced that the top selling elite figure of 2015 was paiges and the best selling battle pack was the bellas. the bellas have like 100+ items on the wwe store combined. you can buy paige and bella shirts in malls in stores that ARENT hot topic like everyone else. paige outdrew reigns at a meet and greet.

In regards to the main roster, the women are booked as poorly as the men. They however, have the stigma of being associated with bathroom/snack breaks, or pure titillation for fuck-knows how long.

If the women are booked well, it feels like it's going to be short term.

Because WWE puts much more focus and effort into male wrestlers and their storylines. Wrestling ability doesn't matter much if nobody has a reason to care.

Do we really need two Divas matches at Fastlane? I'd enjoy watching womens wrestling in WWE if they didn't all have the same rigid fighting style.. You get powerhouses, aerialists, technical wrestlers etc all in the mens division but they're all "flat" in the womens one.. Which is why I'm a bit salty about Fastlane, it's just going to be boring.

Yeah they all tend to blend together for some reason. It's the reason Beth was so refreshing. She was different.

The only one I can think of now who has variety is Natalya. Pretty strong but a good technical wrestler too. Too bad she has no charisma. Nikki kinda has some power moves as well, I guess.

Yes, Beth was kinda of a powerhouse and so was Victoria back in 2003, Lita brought in a high-flying element to the womens division when she was around but currently, Natalya's the only one that really stands out for me, despite her being underutilised.

We can talk about Chyna too but she kinda phased out of the womens division as half her opponents were dudes, her and Y2J had a good feud.

I'm hoping the new gen moves away from 'forearm x300 then pin attempt x200 followed by finisher'. Sasha did break out a few hurricanranas on Smackdown last week and Becky's exploder suplexes are something you don't see divas do that often.

Maybe things are changing for the better then, I usually just skip the Diva's matches but I'll tune in on Fastlane, hopefully Sasha and Becky can pull off some killer duo moves and form a proper tag team.

Divas matches are usually botchfests. I just watch them for Becky and Naomi. And soon, Bayley.
