Giant's getting old lads
>Bryan rocking the Edge haircut
It's over fAm, he's announcing his retirement.
He will be seen only on Total Divas and maybe a couple of shitty C television show appearances as well as your occasional raw appearance to shill said appearances.
Beeg retirement match should be him (c) vs Ryback for the WWEWHC at Wrestlemania 33
With Ryback winning and having Beeg getting the proper Send off from the crowd
To me, the haircut indicates that Brian Danielson will play a key role in the Road to Wrestlemania.
My prediction? Bryan comes out on Raw and seems like he's going to announce his retirement. HHH and Steph come out to bloat... but Bryan suddenly drops the bombshell that he's going to cash in the rematch for the title that he never got, RIGHT HERE TONIGHT! He beats HHH for the Title, defends it against Brock Lesnar at Fast Lane and main events Mania with AJ Styles.
>tfw one of these jobber faggots are going to make some crack at another jobber based on the superb owl
Protip: it won't be Bo
Marks aren't going to be here of all places talking about wrestling. Everyone who posts here is a smark.
>Bayley will never bottle feed you
>Bayley will never cheer you up when you're down in the dumps
Just kill me.
>not loving her even if she's a trap
What are you, gay?
I'll tip myself, thanks
Of course he will get a pop, any decently over guy will get a pop, bryan was pushed enough to be relevant to that point.
However way too much time has passed since mania 30, he will never be as over as he once was.
He will always have his dedicated fans, but all those fans who were just bandwagoning (i.e. the majority of people you saw chanting yes during the peak of his popularity) had already moved on to guys like cesaro, and now that hes out, they've moved ono neville and aj.
Bryan was getting mega pops louder than anyone had gotten in years before he was pushed to the main event. Then for once WWE actually went with the crowd and not their picked guy and he got even hotter.
Yeah and now he's sizzled out for being shelved for 2 years+ with only a short 3 month or so run in between.
He's no Rock or Austin, his popularity isn't going recover easily, if ever.
WWE would have to push him as hard as they were during mania season for him to get back to where he was, and there's no way they're doing that.
He'll probably just feud with Sheamus if he returned, getting his ass kicked by the LoN every week before getting saved by Reigns or some shit, which won't help him much at all.
Wew lad, way to not understand my point.
Of course he's going to get a huge pop when he returns, even I'll mark out.
The issue is how WWE handles him when he returns, it's been 2 years since Bryan got sidelined, they're probably just going to give him a shitty program and most likely not give him any title runs because he got shelved twice in a row after winning top titles, and if he does get put in title matches he's probably just going to job it out.
Your average fan is going to stop caring about a guy if he's booked like shit and just move to the next new sensation, like neville.
>le talk about smarks like you're not one meme
I'm not sure you are right, I think Bryan is one of the few guys that as long as he is around people are going to cheer for him. Chanting his name will just become the way smarks show their displeasure with booking again, like CM Punk was before him. This is probably the real reason Vince hasn't let him come back, because they know they have no chance of getting Reigns over as the top face while Bryan is around, the last two Rumbles etc showed that. Vince has been burned twice, he's being more cautious.
I mean I guess what you say could happen, they'd really have to bury him hard though. You can't compare Bryan's level of overness, coming back from injury, after all the history he has with the fans with someone like Neville.
Why is Troof labelled as "retard"? He's living the life, always over with the crowd, sometimes funny, makes his own music album and has a fucking studio in his house, gets basically money for nothing
I never saw much of Daniel Bryan either, my fav wrestler was Shawn Michaels so after his induction into the Hall of Fame are a meh Wrestlemania I decided to stop watching wrestling. It was only in 2014 Royal Rumble when I started watching again and although he lost to Bray Wyatt, I was blown away by his performance. He is extremely likeable and probably the most natural babyface I've ever seen.
I saw some of his other matches on the network of course, like the triple threat with Beeg/Mark Henry but Daniel Bryan is extremely entertaining to watch.
I don't think he's overrated at all, I mean at Fastlane last year he made Roman look good, it was a decent match and that was thanks to Bryan. It's just a shame about his injuries and stuff, it kills any kind of momentum he has and I'm just happy he has a Wrestlemania moment and easily one of the most historic.
Sami Zayn has the same potential to be the most natural babyface though, people like Neville just don't have the same charismas in my opinion. While Neville is fun to watch him do all the fast and flippy shit, I just don't feel anything towards him personally, like Bryan or Zayn.
>It's been widely speculated that former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan may be appearing on Raw tonight from Seattle, fresh off of his brand new Tide Pods commercial. However, a new report has surfaced, which says that Bryan tried to leave the WWE, but was blocked from doing so.
Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer posted on the Wrestling Classics forum, saying that "He did give notice and was told he did not have the right to give notice."
>Bryan's contract has been frozen due to an injury, a provision in Superstar contracts that helps WWE make up lost time when a talent is sidelined. The company was at odds with former WWE Champion Rey Mysterio due to this same clause.
>As is pertains to Bryan not having the right to give notice, based on the available talent contracts, that appears to be true. The contract can be pretty much permanently frozen unless Bryan takes the WWE to court.
>Bryan has been out of action since last April, when he suffered a concussion in a six-man tag match in the UK. In total Bryan has only been able to wrestle a little under three months over the course of the last 22.
You just know WWE is the one that leaked this fake story to the dirt sheets to get people to tune in to raw tonight to see bryan and if he "shoots from the hip"
Yeah he's entertaining as fuck, that's why him and Goldie will make a great team. People don't realize that WWE is sports entertainment, you don't need to be the World Heavyweight Champ.
I saw a video of him in TNA and he was basically dissing WWE, I think as he got older he realized that in WWE he can entertain millions and millions more people than he could before, he makes people happy.
Yeah his character is a bit of a retard but he's funny as hell, he's also probably one of the most respected in the locker room.
>ywn get pegged by big boss emma while dana watches and screams insults at you
>Independent doctors have cleared Bryan to wrestle
That ain't gonna mean shit if he's going in a less professional stage with more possible botches. Hell didn't someone die in in the ring of NJPW not to long ago?
>Independent doctors have cleared Bryan to wrestle,
yea some 28 yr old football player just died last week who got cleared by those same or similar doctors, and bryan is shorter and is susceptible to more concussion or worse, he didnt have feeling in his arm for almost half a year.
>>wwe cares about daniel bryan g-guys thats why he isn't wrestling
Nobody's saying this. He's fine.
The fact that there're various concussions dramas coupled with how he'd buttfuck their awful booking plans are why they're keeping him out.
>WWE wouldn't dare go to commercial break if he did, because they don't want to risk fans hating the product even more.
>they didn't do this shit pre-PG.
>bunch of heartbleeding liberals.
Is this bait or genuine retardation?
Yeah you are correct that smark/mark was invented when many people still thought it was real or it wasnt so openly known about it being scripted.
I think the modern definition should be different. Everyone uses it to describe internet fans, not just anyone who knows its fake.
>I really hope Bryan goes off script tonight. WWE wouldn't dare go to commercial break if he did, because they don't want to risk fans hating the product even more.
You retards do know live tv isn't truly live right?
There is a delay, how do you think they change camera angles on the fly during matches?
Bryan or the stream would be muted if he were to (and he wouldn't) say anything he isn't supposed to.
Not to mention the possible legal issues.
>Buh muh pipebomb
It was a work you fucking idiots.
>I'll retire happily... once the authority is gone.
>Hunter, let's go one more time, at fast lane, for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
>Daniel Bryan wins, Brock Lesnar wins.
>"WELL YOU SEE DANIEL, THE THING IS, IF YOU LOSE TO BROCK, YOU DON'T JUST LOSE THE TITLE, YOUR CAREER IS OVER DANIEL"
>Daniel Bryan vs Brock Lesnar: Career vs Title
Would /wwe/ mark?
The answer to your stupid question is no dipshit, you don't have to be 12 to know someones 12.
How fucking retarded are you?
>this is the best bantz an /asp/ie can come up with
Wew lad, back to steve os thread.
Well even though Bryan is shit, I suppose it would be better than HHH holding the title. Although replace Brock with Reigns, because I don't want to see a goat being murdered in the ring.
>Bryan asked for his release a few weeks ago and they told him no.
And how would you know that?
You're literally getting worked right now.
Fucking dirtsheet sites even offer exclusive promo codes for the ww shop.
WWE themselves are putting that shit out there to get you guys to tune in to see "controversy"
That truth is why Rocky Maivia couldn't get over but The Rock could. It's why The Ringmaster couldn't get over, but Stone Cold Steve Austin could. Not of your examples got over when they changed their gimmick to something the crowd could actually connect with. That ability to connect, whether positively or negatively, is the common denominator that all if wrestling's biggest stars have possessed, from Hulk Hogan to CM Punk and Daniel Bryan.
You said you have to be underage to know someones underaged.
Now you're trying to backtrack and act like you meant past tense, as if everyone wasn't 12 once.
Actually it seems like you don't even know the difference between had and have.
Except in today's era, they wouldn't have gotten over EVEN if they did change their gimmicks.
Well maybe Stone Cold, but most certainly not The Rock. Hell, why do you think crowds today are booing The Rock and are hijacking segments he's in?
Rock would have gotten over as fuck. Charisma and personality always does.
>Hell, why do you think crowds today are booing The Rock and are hijacking segments he's in?
Go ahead and post an example. I'll wait.
>Roman loses the title at the rumble
>Has a rematch clause since he was champion going in
>The next night on RAW, the authority puts him in a fight for the spot match at Fastlane
Who books this shit? Ignoring the fact that they did the exact same thing last year, that's just retarded. The champion always has a guaranteed rematch, even marks and babbies know that.
How much longer until Vince gives up on this super duper mega push? How many more ppv's does Roman have to get booed out of?
>they chanted randy savage after Rock openly acknowledged someone dressed as Randy Savage
Not exactly hijacking bruh, nor did they boo him. They were characteristically in the palm of his hands.
Still they were trying to make WWE all about them and rather than the ACTUAL star's in the ring. No one watches WWE for the losers in the audience chanting stupid shit. and if they do, they're part of the problem.
>Dean wins at Fastlane and goes to Mania
>roman doesn't shake his hand
>dean goes over Haitch at Mania
>Roman comes out with Rocky (wearing a suit and carrying a briefcase and carrying a contract) and demands his rematch on the exhausted Ambrose immediately
>beats the shit out of Dean and pins him
>begins a heel run
Things that would never happen
"Dean, it's time for bed," Roman ordered, feeling frustrated that the TV was still on, loud, and Dean hadn't even brushed his teeth yet. He still had his boots on.
Dean scoffed. "Okay, dad," he said sarcastically.
Roman felt a weird pang in his chest from that. Was it indignance? He got off of his bed and went over to Dean, snatching the remote and shutting the TV off.
"Come on, I was watching that."
"Please? It's late. You have to be tired. I'll tuck you in," Roman offered, feeling the pang again just as he said it.
"Read me a story?" Dean asked.
"Fine. I need help brushing my teeth, too," he pouted.
"Let's go, come on," Roman said gently, grabbing Dean by the upper arm and hauling him out of bed and to the bathroom.
Dean made an exaggerated sulk as he pulled his toothbrush and toothpaste out of a zippered bag on the counter. He looked at Roman with big eyes as he handed them to him.
Roman patiently wet the toothbrush and squeezed a small line of toothpaste onto it. "Here you go. Brush up," he said, handing it back to Dean. "Two minutes. Don't make me sing the song."
"What song?" Dean asked, frowning and taking the toothbrush, running it over his teeth while bouncing up and down on the balls of his feet.
"This is the way we brush our teeth, brush our teeth, brush our teeth," Roman sang to the tune of "The Wheels on the Bus".
"Oh god, stop," Dean said, laughing and trying not to choke on the mouthful of toothpaste he was working on.
After some more time had passed, Roman handed Dean a glass of water. "Spit, then rinse."
Dean spit in the sink, then swished water all around his mouth, puffing out his cheeks dramatically. He spit. "Did I do okay?" he asked, then grinned, showing Roman all his teeth.
"Into bed now, let's go," Roman said, guiding Dean to lie down. Dean crawled in, curling up facing away from Roman and wrapping himself around a pillow. Roman pulled the blankets over him and tucked him in tightly, stuffing them under the edge of Dean's body. He smoothed them over, running his hand over Dean's body above the covers.
"You said I could have a story," Dean said, partially muffled by his pillow.
"Yep. How about I read you the tale of the brave hero John McClane and how he saved Christmas from the evil Hans Gruber?"
"That's my favorite," Dean said, rolling over and looking up with a touch of awe. "How'd you know?"
"Dads know these things," Roman said. He sat down at the foot of the bed and read from his phone. "On Christmas Eve, New York City Police Detective John McClane arrived in Los Angeles..."
He was mostly just reading the Wikipedia plot summary out loud, but he embellished a little where he could. He could see Dean's eyelids getting heavy, but he was enjoying himself.
"And then Hans Gruber fell off the building and never hurt anyone ever again. The end," Roman said, shutting the screen off on his phone. Dean's breathing was slow and even.
"Goodnight, kiddo," Roman said, standing up from the bed and heading towards his own.
"Night, dad," Dean mumbled sleepily, rolling back over onto his side.
Roman fought a powerful urge to kiss Dean's forehead. Instead, he sacked out on his bed, and allowed himself a few precious minutes to watch Dean sleep, safe, under his protection, and at peace.
>WWE is focusing on the following points for tonight:
>Will Dean Ambrose get his pound of flesh from The Beast?
>Expect Chris Jericho to pay very close attention to whatever awaits AJ Styles
>Will Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch's uneasy union pay off?
>Will The Wyatt Family cut The Big Guy down to size?
>Will Goldust find success in getting R-Truth to be his partner this week?
More Golden Truth confirmed:D

>look at the ratings after
>Leading into WrestleMania 30, the Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H program was the top draw of Raw each week. Coming out of WM30, Bryan as new WWE World Hvt. champion has been solidified as a ratings draw.
>Monday's WWE Raw TV rating was boosted by three distinct peaks. And, like before WrestleMania, Daniel Bryan was the top draw of the show.
The shitty ratings and low viewer rate post is because of le a+ champion.
It was reported that the Rock's return on Raw was the first time since June that they've been able to manage a consistent 4m viewers.
>"WELL YOU SEE DANIEL, THE THING IS, IF YOU LOSE TO BROCK, YOU DON'T JUST LOSE THE TITLE, YOUR CAREER IS OVER DANIEL"
Where the fuck is the logic here? Brock has literally nothing to lose then.
