when will he debut his dancing bros?
when will the GOAT harper take over the family and win the WWE title?
Every major pro sports league engages in some degree of fixing. Not necessarily to the extent of scripting match outcomes. But certainly in the sense of on field/court/ice officials being told to call games in ways that make certain desired outcomes slightly more likely to happen.
>Mfw just >>955658 alone makes me more giddy and retardedly excited than WM 32 can even hope to
PG legend ryback wins his 70x wwe champion at wrestlemania
Kevin Owens wins 70x hotdog eating contest
>WM ends and ramen wins the championship and final destroys the authority
>the Balor club debuts and surrounds the ring
>AJ's theme hits and he and other TNA rejects walk out wanting to make an IMPACT as well.
>a beat up van shows up and Johnny mundo pops out of the top and says the underground has come to bring WWE gold to the temple
CAN RAMEN OVERCOME THESE ODDS
I had a Kane bias back in the day. I remember thinking that match was good.
And shit, I forgot HHH and Michaels fought in the cell at Bad Blood. Yeah, if it's the match I'm thinking of, that was actually pretty good.
Eh, good booking can distract from losses, and the problem is that right now all Owens has is wins and losses. He has no good driving storyline, so the only thing fans can talk about for him is who he loses to and who he beats. In his case, that record is extremely important until he gets a good story going.
Really? Marketing and advertisement.
There's a huge fanbase for professional sports and the WWE wants to poach them.
This isn't anything new, freaking Mile Tyson ref'ed for the wwe once.
And now a bajillion sports star popping up on Raw.
>mfw booking myself to main event the biggest Mania of all time
>mfw the wrestlemania play button halftime show was better than the superbowl show
So after the Chicago made chick magnet cuck master gets his shit kicked in, would WWE even take him back? He'd instantly overshadow Roman, similar to Daniel Bryan. And there's no chance further out in the future when HHH is in control. Is he really never wrestling again?
This is actually the POV that a lot of retired wrestlers have but not a lot of working wrestlers have. I've heard Austin say the same thing, but he threw a bitch fit when he was supposed to put Brock over back in the day.
There's probably a middle ground that's right. They obviously matter but one loss to Cena doesn't mean your career's over like some people seem to think.
“So it’s now been 24 hours since my release by WWE, and no lol I did NOT quit to put these rumors to rest.
First of let me thank all my fans for their continued support, and yes, you WILL definitely hear from, and see me again.
My 3 years and a half working for WWE have been a life changing experience, both in and out of the ring, and I will always be grateful for the opportunity they gave me. They made me a better performer, in the ring, on the microphone (definitely!) as well as a more mature and life enjoying human being. Damn, after all, I started painting thanks to them in a way! And you all know how much I now appreciate art.
But anyway as far as why it came to an end, let me use one my best buddy “Marcus Louis” metaphor about this business:
A Shakespeare play is awesome.
But Spiderman is awesome too.
And if you’re okay at playing Shakespeare, but VERY GOOD at playing Spiderman, there comes a time when you either move on or they hire someone better for the job!
This is pretty much what happened with me.
So from the bottom of my heart, thank you EVERYBODY : workers, coaches, fans, behind the scenes people, for making this ride such an awesome adventure.
To all my fans, don’t worry, wrestling is still in my blood and some of the products out there still gives me goosebumps. This is why I will follow my heart, and I WILL be back in the ring.
Be blessed. Follow your heart. Give love and respect to your peers so they give it back to you.”
Man Bullfit seemed like a pretty nice guy
Stone Cold had a fit because Vince, in his infinite idiocy, wanted Austin to put over Brock with ZERO (0) build up. If the plan was to feud to a PPV where Brock wins, Austin probably wouldn't have took his ball and gone home.
Also, he's wrong. Wins and losses do matter. They aren't everything, but they are important.
If wins and losses truly don't matter, why are the characters fighting to begin with?
Daily reminder batista was the first asian to win the wwe champion
>Mfw I would've blown my brains out already if it wasn't for the fact that I didn't have a gun
>even weebs think Hart is jobber tier
Went to a house show today and it was insane. We managed to steal a row of 5 seats in the 2nd row on the floor during the 1st match and never had to move.
New Day came out and twerked around the ring for nearly 10 minutes. Ryback got heckled so bad by our section he came over to sign for a couple kids in the front row, and immediately after looked up at us, drew his hands over the kids' heads and flipped us off.
ADR vs. Reigns was the main event, and Reigns was booed hard by the floor crowd when he came down. Someone was shouting "go back to hawaii" over and over, he kept looking over with confused looks all match. Del Rio got a great reaction and even jumped into us mid match. It started when he was pleading with a girl directly in front of us for her sign, saying he wanted to take it into the ring and show it to everyone but she refused.. we egged him on and started the si chant. Managed to get a candid photo too.
This was AJ Styles first WWE house show and he wrestled The Miz, submitting him with the calf slicer. His shirts sold out in all but XXL sizes within the first 30 minutes.
Shit like this reminds me why I love wrestling and why I pay to go to these shows. The interaction was today was awesome.
Michael Cole, JBL and Byron are on commentary when this sequence happens in the ring
What do they say?
What really happened
>Roman shows up
>he gets cheered
>the only one booing was this guy and his friends
>he has to embellish his house show experience to prove a point
I live in a smark city and go to house shows almost frequently and Roman barely gets booed or none at all, you can actually see which part of the audience is booing him
This is now a Shit In Wrestling That Makes You Embarrassed to Be a Wrestling Fan thread.
Obviously, there's the Rear View. What else makes you change the channel when someone walks into the room so you don't feel silly for watching?
Everything Hornswoggle has ever done is a given.
we were definitely in the smarky section, i'll admit to being one myself
we went to this show last year and they only carry about 8-10 different shirts (5 of which are cena or reigns), a lot of shirts sell out quickly because people crowd the merch before the show starts
we were on the floor, 2nd row where the hard cam would normally be if it were televised. it's so loud down there, and the floor crowd mostly consists of adults, because of the ADR crowd shenanigans there wasn't a lot of cheering until reigns hit a superman punch
This guy just loves to have fun John! You just gotta love interracial!
HAHA MAGGLE I TELL YA THERE IS NOTHING LIKE WATCHING AN ATHLETIC BULL GO AT IT WITH YOUR GIRL IN THE RING
Byron, some say that white women should stay away from black men.
You know Cole, when I worked down in NXT the white girls down there LOVED that aggressive style of young black men
Maggle: How must John Cena be feeling after Stephanie McMahon's announcement that he's teaming with [face he's currently at odds with over something] against [two big guys who can't wrestler for shit] in the main event?
JBL: HA-HA I LOVETT MAGGLE BEST FOR BUSINESS EPL REFERENCES AND RETIRED RUGBY PLAYERS
Biron: I can talk too!
I fucking hate this company
why was triple h not at the house show when hes the champion?
we actually ran into Jack Swagger outside smoking, about 30 minutes before the start, hiding in a corner by a door with his hood up. we asked him for a pic but he said no. fucking dick no wonder he ain't over
he got cheered because hes Fucking Jack Swagger and hes over as fuck everywhere but wwe wont push him because WEED
>Daniel Bryan rumored to try giving his notice
>because they won't let him wrestle
>rumor is they want him to do WWE stuff like commentary, but not wrestling
Why do they want him to not wrestle exactly?
Because he's one botch away from becoming permanently paralyzed or worse. And the odds of it happening are higher than anyone on the roster.
And someone getting killed in the ring is not best for business.
WWE being cautious for once
>Bryan gets hurt
It's Vince's fault for allowing him to hurt himself
>Bryan gets released and he gets hurt
It's Vince's fault for releasing him
>Bryan goes full Chris
It's Vince's fault, manlet gets erased in WWE history
The only wrong thing they did at this point is convincing him to stop
Dwayne got surgery and Roman is literally fighting an uphill battle to hide his genetics.
His brother Rosey is a fat fuck now, like Viscera fat.
If Roman was more toned in his chest there is no doubt he would drop the vest.
I always thought he was a clumsy idiot in the ring and on the mic with a bad gimmick and that his body looks weird. I mean christ, Roman Reigns is better than Swagger, and he gets booed out of everywhere even though his main problem is constant bad booking (he's not great on the mic either).
Because Punk's comments and the current lawsuit against WWE have opened a massive can of worms. Vince is very paranoid about Bryan getting injured again and fucking them over.
Also because he just doesn't like Bryan.
hey wrestling nerds:
when is Cena turn heel?
when is Punk cum back?
where is Flying Goat Man?
Y wrestling suk nao???
It's almost over, Bryanbros. He cut his hair, trimmed his beard, and he is going to retire. Soon Brie will dump him for the next flavor of the month, and he'll be forgotten Benoit-style. Feels bad but we should just accept it.
It'd be better to just have him wreck some shit. He actually got huge pops when it did it at and immediately after TLC. The tall, muscular Samoan doesn't set up well for that underdog bullshit.
>actually decide to look up roman's match history
>he has literally never lost clean, in fact his only recorded losses are this year's RR, seth at WM and big show on some random raw last year
>he still isn't over
top kek this shit is pathetic
KING (hysterical): WAAAH! Did you see THAT, JR?!?!
JR (deadpan): ...Sunset flip there.... somewhat unorthodox style.....
>gets lukewarm reactions when he's out
>not the the top merch mover
>there's always somebody there getting bigger pops and out shining him
>he gets booed during almost every world title match he's had
Pretty bad for your top guy tbhlad
Not him, but the problem is Roman's inability to connect with the main audience. They are just mild as fuck, which is why you can always hear the smarks booing. If all the little jimmies were into him they could get away with no men over the age of 15 liking him.
>only smark pops count
>That thin strip along his path are all paying Roman marks.
If they paid a slightly more expensive ticket to be on that seat then that means he connected with them enough to get them to shell out top dollar for a few seconds of being able to see him up close and personal, if he didn't really "connect" to fans as you claim the WWE wouldn't raise those seat's prices and just plug whoever is nearby and if the "main audience" doesn't care about Roman they would just ignore him as he goes down.
No selfies, no fist bumps , no groping or touching and if they really hated him you would see people booing him upfront, flipping him off or worse physically assaulting him.
I love how you keep shrieking "SMARK!" when that's irrelevant to anything I've been saying.
He couldn't even get the crowd of a marktown like Greenville, North Cack-a-lacki on his side against the Swissman with [allegedly] no charisma.
Your TV husbando a shit.
Again, he gets the crowd mild. A small portion cheer for him, but less than midcard guys who have never had rocket boosters attached like he has. He's been given absolutely every advantage but he's never been able to win the crowd over with any of his own abilities.
We should just start listing guys more over than Ramen.
I'll go first:
The thing about the streak is that anyone could try to challenge it and make a name for himself, it was the BIG thing to do at wrestlemania and here and there everyone took their shot.
So really, you don't need a lot of build up for that one since it explains by itself.
There's a difference between rarely and never. Roman has not lost a singles match clean *ever*. Unlike Cena, who ate clean losses during his rise, Reigns never loses. He's Ultimate Warrior 2.0, not Cena 2.0 like many think he will be.
Daniel Bryan is on Raw tonight. My source tells me that after complaining about not being cleared in time for the Rumble he will be put in a match with HHH at Fastlane where if he wins he gets added to the WM main event.
It's a shame that this isn't real. If it was up to me, Danielson would beat Triple H for the championship on Raw and then defend the title against Reigns at Fast Lane and Styles at Wrestlemania.
