Why do people think this was so amazing again?
>tag team titles on the pre-show
>ic title not defended
>us title not defended
>pointless match between bryan and triple h
>cena beating wyatt
>shitty divas battle royal
>obvious main event winner that went on to have a pointless and shitty title reign
>main event match was shitty clone of WM 20
Cesaro winning, the shield BTFO new age outlaws and kane and streak ending were all that did it for this show
maybe the opening segment too
it was okay but not GOAT
> Hogan, Stone Cold & The Rock to start out the show
> Based Triple H entrance
> Triple H putting someone else over on the first match
> Cesaro being pushed to a new singles run and mirroring WM3 by picking up Big Show to win the Battle Royal
> Wyatt's based entrance
> Most shocking moment in history with Taker's streak being broken
> The fans actually getting what they want for once with everyman and loveable Bryan winning the WWE WHC
> Feel good ending
> Celebrations in New Orleans
>Triple H putting someone else over
Like he hasn't done that before
Also nothing happened to that push for Cesaro
Everyone knew Bryan was going to win.
It was an decent Wrestlemania though, I prefer 31 though
>Cool IC ladder match (kind of corny)
>RKO spot in Orton vs Rollins
>Triple H terminator entrance (corny but cool)
>HHH vs Sting was fun and had DX vs nWo in it
>Stings first Wrestlemania and official match in WWE
>Rusevs tank entrance
>Cena vs Rusev match was good and led to the US Open Challenge every week
>Return of the Undertaker
>Awesome main event with a shocking result
If you're not a huge Bryan fan it makes sense that it will seem overrated, because it is but the IWC don't care because their darling 'the american dragon' Bryan Danielson went over 3/4 of evolution in 1 night. It wasn't a great great show, but D-Bry marks will always defend it.
However that Bray vs Cena Legacy promo video was based. Up their with the Miz one and My Way for best mania promo vids
>Like he hasn't done that before
Not for someone who actually needed it.
>Also nothing happened to that push for Cesaro
I guess the crowd at the time could look into the future to see that they would fuck it up.
>opener was an outright amazing match between DBry and Haitch that got everyone invested
>followed by a hot squash match that did what it set out to do
>followed by a hype as fuck battle royale
>good match with Bray/Cena, nothing special
>huge Mania moment with Brock/Taker, nearly killed the crowd but it was impactful as fuck
>Divas match placed perfectly in the crowd-lull because they were all flabbergasted about the streak
>Main Event somehow resurrects them and gets a fucking immense pop
Pretty stellar throughout. Only contrarians doubt it, really.
Which is better?
> WrestleMania where the hero was booked into the main event by the fans and came out with the biggest title win since Eddie
> WresltleMania where people were dreading the forced pushed Reigns winning but settled for the Money in the Bank rules being changed so that there's not a collective boo at the end of the night
Rewatch WM 29 and tell me WM30 was a god damn step up. WM 29 is by far the worst Mania I have ever seen.
>Started off with a promo to warm people up.
>D Bryan match to get things going for a pumped.
>Old age outlaws got squashed in a match they shouldnt have been in the first place
>Cesaro wins ATGMBR. Lift Big show and tosses him. Epic Kofi spot.
>DByran wins the title
The only shitshow here was John Cena doing his usual stale schtick again, instead of full on turning Heel or just fucking losing.
A second shitty part was the wack as fuck match between Brock and Taker.
> Cena match and streak ending
I agree, the only blemishes on an otherwise flawless show. At least it was the first time in 10 years Cena wasn't in a world championship match / main eveny.
WM30 was obvious because of the YES hijack raw shit and bryan getting beaten up by triple h to draw sympathy
Bryan was the clear winner at that point
For mania 31 people seemed to think Lesnar was going to win
I don't know what you're talking about but there was a lot of confusion and debate going into 30.
31 was clear as day.
Then again, I frequent /wwe/, maybe you're talking about your little circles in Reddit and /wooo/.
I remember a lot of redditors started cross-boarding for WM30/WM31.
It pretty much just reinforced the consensus that one guy is saying, people were split four ways on WM30, some even thought Haitch would walk out because of how resistant they were to DBry.
Like 100% of people saw some fuckery in the Main Event of 31 tho
Find it how funny Bryanfags whine about Cena going over Wyatt when it made sense storyline wise, but completely fine when their Goatboy can take out 3 sure fire hall of famers in one night cleanly
cena winning was the right call for sure
wyatt probably shouldve come out on-top in the end tho, i disagree that he didnt especially since cena became the top champ right after beating bray
got any momentum he wouldve lost losing to bray right back
