Who else /disappointedinKalisto/ here?
I really though he could be something, then he got his big shot against ADR at the Rumble and it was a horrific botchy mess. Now I just want him to fuck off and let La Sombra take his rightful position as Rey 2.
Also WWE hot-shotted his Title Win. He should've played underdog to ADR all throughout Mania Season before finally getting his win at Mania. Now he's just gonna defend it instead of victoriously finally claiming it.
Oh look, the mouth breather is shilling his channel again.
Get a fucking life.
was walking out of mcdonalds wearing my kevin owens shirt when some kid wearing a feed me more shirt called me a fat cunt
feeling pretty shitty atm might put on some njpw
I can guarantee you anything that Batista would have gotten a huge pop at the Royal Rumble he was in had WWE not announced and redebuted him on the RAW before. Booking him on that RAW and making it look like he was going to win the Rumble stole Daniel Bryan's thunder and pissed off the fans and they turned on Batista. WWE booking has the WORST foresight. He should of just had a surprise entrance at the Rumble and won by throwing out a guy the smarks hate, like Cena.
It was great.
>opening vignette of Vampiro in the psychiatric ward was sick
>Mil Muertes being booked like Shao Khan looking over the Temple on his throne
>FANTASTIC opening match with Cuerno vs Fenix
>Ivelisse being sexy and having to battle her friends Son of Havoc and Angelico to face Muertes for the championship
>Ivelisse being destroyed but still getting some encouraging offense againt Muertes
>that Puma save at the end
>that Pentagon Jr being a bad ass motherfucker and breaking arms
>Dario and Lotus are back feeding random drifters to their monster
>>that Pentagon Jr being a bad ass motherfucker and breaking arms
I loved this, it's just such a common sense booking choice.
>we have a monster
>we have a psychopath
>lets break some fucking arms
Well, kayfabe isn't absolute because that would mean they continue the facade outside of LU, which they don't, they work different feds with different gimmicks.
But there are highly extravagant characters they take completely seriously, yes.
Kinda. Inside the ring, they're just awesome wrestlers putting on great matches. But outside the ring during the vignettes/movies they do, you'll see Drago perched up on rooftops and sprouting wings, breathing fire and all that shit.
The way Lucha Underground is, it's not like a WWE or TNA show where they make it like an actual sporting event. Lucha Underground is produced like a TV show drama about an underground fight club. It feels more like you're watching a show like Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, whatever. Not like you're watching UFC or a sport.
It's very unique because Lucha Underground knows people are aware wrestling is fake, so instead, they're able to do something really cool with the suspension of disbelief, rather than portraying it as a sport that's real.
>current state of League of Nations
>Woi Barra injuried, Fella injuried, Rusev cucked, Alberto No Heato irrelevant
Yeah, the WWE's problem is that it's gone too far to distance itself from the characters of the 90s, and tried too hard to legitimise itself by having pretty much its entire roster go by a proper name. Instead all its done is create a bunch of gimmickless interchangeable midcarders that are never going to get over.
If you just want to enjoy great matches (and the matches are absolutely phenomenal and well booked in LU), then you can just start watching right off the bat. If you want to get into the lore and the storyline of the characters, it's a good idea to watch season 1.
Most of the highlights from Season 1:
Ultima Lucha (LU's big show):
Remember when people said that there was no way that Nakamura would go to NXT? That's he'd go straight to the main roster?
I'd highly recommend you watch Season 1.
As >>926508 said, you can enjoy the matches either way, but because of the unique, involved storytelling that really overtly treats itself like a TV Show it makes everything much better if you understand the characters more.
For example, if you watched Season 2 now you'd get an awesome match between Fenix and King Cuerno, but if you watched Season 1 and understood Fenix a little more, how he's a fighting underdog who's taken legitimate setbacks, it'd be a much more involving match and outcome.
Remember when /wwe/ said nobody will know who AJ Styles was?
>biggest pop in the Royal Rumble
>bigger than Brock and Triple H
>WWE.com put it in their top 5 biggest pops list
Remember when /wwe/ said nobody will know who Nakamura was?
It was good before the Hogan infestation
Also before they switched to 4 sided ring (thank god the six sided one is back) it was pretty good. Match quality was usually quite high, too. I watched AJ vs Daniels vs Joey Samoey lately and it was top tier
AJ was a dumb call because he literally debuted in TNA's stomping grounds.
I dunno about Nakamura with the Raw/SD crowd, though. NXT fans probably just popped for him without even knowing who he was so they didn't seem dumb, tbqh
>NXT fans probably just popped for him without even knowing who he was
Nah they don't pop for everyone. fullsail gets a bit retarded sometimes but I don't doubt they'd know at least the tippy toppest Japan guys
He isnt exactly fluent but he does speak it pretty well.
If he spent the next 5-6 months getting English lessons, perfecting his speaking and becoming fluent to a Cesaro level (if possible) then this would do way more for him than any wrestling training or gym work will do.
>Corbin tapping out to the crossface/shooter combo
>Regal saying he'll have to review the tape
Why? What could he possibly ascertain?
It's cookie-cutter 1v1 build just announce Sami vs Slowjoe
Is he going to pause it and try to analyze from the look in Corbin's eyes which particular hold caused him more pain?
TNA was fantastic in 05-06, this is where they peaked.
The booking of Samoa Joe was brilliant, they basically had their own mini version of Goldberg in WCW. Then instead of putting the belt on him they brought in Kurt Angle to end his undefeated streak in his first match.
This was the moment they stopped being a cool alternative to WWE in my opinion.
There were still great matches and shows for a time after this until about 08/09 but I had lost faith, then they became a meme trying to compete with Raw.
>According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, NXT star Hideo Itami is seeing complications from shoulder surgery, and is nowhere near close to returning to action.
TNA was way better than the average NXT show.
NXT is boring as fuck, why do people pretend it is some amazing show? The actual weekly show was good for a few months during 2014 thats IT.
The special events are still amazing though.
>NXT Dallas is on April 1st
>mfw Nakamura doesn't show up and it was all a ruse
>Nakamura vs Styles II
I want to see this at this year's fucking Summerslam.
>mfw no more Hideo/Nakamura Nippongi Rice tag team
the NXT crowd are try hard faggots who will mark for whoever.
I guarantee most of them have never watched a Nakamura match before.
However I think he can do pretty well in WWE if he can cut some okay promos.
Hideo senpai how you want your career family?
>Just fuck my shit up my man!
No problem family just signed Nakamura to fill your niche so you'll forever be forgotten
I'm animalsinhatsanon nice to meet you
It depends how Nakamura does in the Performance Center and on NXT, as well as mastery of the English language. For the amount of money Nakamura is getting with this signing (it's way bigger than your usual indie star signing), I can't imagine Nakamura staying on NXT too long. Unless Triple H is worried about the way he will be booked on Raw and is just waiting for Vince to die or something...
>For the amount of money Nakamura is getting with this signing (it's way bigger than your usual indie star signing), I can't imagine Nakamura staying on NXT too long.
This is literally what people said about Balor, there were loads of rumour he was going to be fast tracked to the main roster.
I believe your second point is the main issue. Not that he is waiting for Vince to die but he doesnt wanna call up his guys until the perfect moment.
Balor is NO WHERE near that huge a signing that Nakamura is. Balor is a gajin wrestler that NJPW can absolutely live with leaving. Nakamura, however, is one of New Japan's franchise homegrown stars. He's like their Shawn Michaels. So the signing away of him from New Japan is a much bigger deal.
>“I think that’s what they (WWE) want to do – just take everybody, sign them into NXT and then wipe out companies. I know they tried to do it with TNA, and I’m sure Ring Of Honor too. It makes sense. They pay someone $750/week, put them into developmental and in the meantime, they try to take away a company’s roster. And they can just leave those guys down in NXT.”
>being pushed hard
>entered the Rumble
>got samoan dropped
>chilled for 25 minutes
>got thrown out
>the following night was involved in a segment that didn't really do anything except instill the notion that he's never wrestled in a relevant promotion before due to JBL's obnoxious over-use of the phrase "BIG LEAGUES"
Yeah over the moon for sure
WWE has a huge deficiency in top stars, and they'd have been retarded to not debut AJ in fucking Orlando, and them giving AJ a main event push does not invalidate the fact that they signed three other huge names with New Japan and are sticking them on nxt. The guy relocated to the US for what? To learn how to squash Zack Ryder?
>Bryan vs Shibata in New Japan
I hope he goes to Japan. He's bigger than the American indie circuit at this point.
WWE got the rights to his music. Thank god hes not getting CFO$ garbage.
>WWE got the rights to his music
Not really confirmed, original reported from I think a bleacher report writer on twitter. But I fucking hope it's true. That Subconscious tune is just too good. Imagine the pulsating intro beat and popping guitar riff for a Wrestlemania entrance.
He's openly said that if WWE doesn't clear him soon he's leaving. If you believe the news sites, WWE has flat out told him they'll never clear him so... He's gonna be leaving.
But he also wants children so who knows. He might just keep the easy WWE money.
Will there be a Wyatt family ride along?
>bray driving and monologuing at people he passes by
>luke staring at a map the whole journey
>erick in a booster seat
>braun sticking his head out the window shouting at shit
>Luke not being made to sit in the trunk and do his freaky rape-stare at drivers behind them through the back window
>Rowan driving whilst Bray and Braun compare buzzards in the back-seat
>tfw by this time next year, my favorite wrestler Nakamura will be everybody's favorite wrestler
>tfw suddenly not so different anymore
If they do change Nakamura's theme, they should just give him this:
Daily reminder CM Punk left this for a boy.
What happens if Roman get his 'coronation' win at 'Mania and gets booed to hell. Would he be damaged goods then?

A legal dwarf
I can't even pronounce that
Ugliest gook I've ever seen
The biggest star in wrestling since Stone Cold
In reality nobody cares about anything other than WWE. Stop pushing this gook meme
>thank god LU is back
that'll be $20 please
They can still salvage him before its too late. First, they can't make him the top guy yet. Im not saying take him out of the main event level, but make him the #2 or #3. Make him the randy orton and someone else the john cena. That way they can have the freedom to turn him heel because he wouldn't be a permaface like cena.
They also have to elevate more people to the main event level. Of the whole healthy full-time roster, roman and brock are the only guys not in the midcard. Dean? No. Bray? No. KO? Sheamus? Fuck no. They literally have no options and its all creative and vince's fault for not building anyone up.
Sheamus is injured, lol who the fuck did wwe piss off? Is this karma for bryan? Injuremania BROTHER.
>he would wrestle in a toga and wear a crown of grape leaves as he enters the temple
>he would come out surrounded by a column of imperial infantry

>gonna headline Wrestlemania before Bryan does
Sandow gets added to the league, respects their ambition to enlighten uncultured Americans. Becomes new leader.
Sandow: Leader gets a massive push
Woi: Shit talking mouthpiece will be break out star
Del Rio: Technical wrestler of the group holds IC or US
Rusev: Powerhouse and holds tag titles with woi
>Sandow gets added to the league
Reminder of Nakamura's career trajectory:
>Shows up at Dallas
>announces he'll be at Wrestlemania
>gets an entrance just before Big Show's (prestigious placement) in the Andre Bowl
>Wins it by last eliminating the Giant
>"DISSU IS GREAT HONARU
>I WINNU DIS TROPHY IN HOMAGE TO GREATEST GIANT IN WRESSERING HISTORY
>FUCK THE ANDRE"
>does the thriller dance over sad golden shattered Andre
>joins the League of Nations
>jobs to Roman
I booed facetista who isn't based (something he has even admitted
>I think I’m the guy that people love to boo and I’m okay with that and I love being heel.
>I’m the worst babyface in the history of wrestling.
>mfw Goldust has tourettes just like his original character
People were chanting "die rocky die" too. People probably hated him even more than reigns when he was being pushed as the new mutli generation babyface. Things changed when he turned heel and was alowed the freedom to be himself and shit on the fans. Then he got over as fuck.
>Nakameme is just another Kenzo Suzuki
>proving in a single sentence you've never watched Nakamura wrestle
Why can't ignorant WWE fanboys just keep their idiotic opinions to themselves?
>NXT Dallas card is better than the Wrestlemania card
>thinks batista was a good face
literally the only people who say that are youtube commenters who also type "NO NO FUCK DANIEL CRYAN"
Empirical evidence says that you're actually an underaged youtuber
>he actually believes NXT is "developmental" in the same grain as OVW and FCW
NXT exists so that the WWE can pick up indy darlings and have them in that show so they won't go to TNA, ROH or somewhere else.
From a main roster perspective only a handful of them will actually make it since the WWE will always push their homegrown guys as much as possible.
the usos are perfect metaphors for WWE
>2nd generation getting featured because of their legacy
>boring, bland, safe
>can't talk, just spout their memes
>better on reality TV and Youtube than they are on Raw
Who wouldn't be bland when they're fed the shitty lines creative gives roman. If you watch his shoot interviews, its obvious he should be a heel. He shits on the fans and called dean and seth "journeymen". If they gave him a little rope and let him say what he feels, I have faith he wouldn't fuck up. He's no Rock, but I think he could do pretty well.
>better on reality TV and Youtube than they are on Raw
Almost every WWE wrestler is better on reality TV, Youtube and even wrestling podcasts since they don't get fed scripts nor bullet points on what to talk about.
>shits on the fans
Never did that, not even on mark shows like WTT, notsam or Rosenberg
>called dean and seth "journeymen"
He's actually correct since they were all over the place before settling in with the WWE
He was over as fuck and a great face in 2005/2006. He's just better as a heel and wanted to come back as a heel because he knew a face run would be shat on. He was right and and basedtista needs to bring his great mind for the business back. He'd probably end up cucking ruru though.
batista's great mind for the business doesn't mean anything
I'm sure everyone would like to book themselves better, unless you're triple h it's not up to you
that's why he wants to do a house show run
