3 in the fucking morning i'm going to bed edition
I have personally done it at least four times, and I'm not OP. My problem is I copy/paste the title out of laziness, and am too stupid to update the goddamn number.
I stopped even trying after a while.
Has there ever been a wrestler to get over SOLELY on his "look"? When was the last wrestler to get over solely on "look"?
Why does the WWE still have a mental block over "look" when a fat sack like Mick Foley was one of the most over men in history? Why does the WWE obsess about height when Rey Mysterio was over as fuck before Vince sabotaged him? Will these dumb fucks EVER learn their lesson?
Why will you never learn that the people you just mentioned weren't the top guys for a reason? Why do you think you have better insight to run a company that was already successful when you were still in the womb?
>The top guy has literally always been the most over guy
Oh Bretcuck you cheeky cuck. If Bret Hart was the most over guy at any single point in time, then Triple H was the most over guy in DX.
Undertaker had more than just his look. Though he's probably the single best example of someone who got a LOT more over because of his look than he would have been without it.
Andre is about the only one I can think of.
>watching 08 RR
>Jimmy Snuka enters
>everyone selling his moves
kinda warms my heart knowing all the shit he's going through now
>everyone stopping to watch Snuka & Piper duke it out
Not sure if this particular Rumble is considered any good, but I've been enjoying it quite a bit despite the outcome
If maybe you didn't sound like such a faggot with every post you made about Bret Hart, then people would take your worthless opinions a little bit seriously.
The man was only "over" in Canada. It's tantamount to saying Wade Barrett is over cause he gets cheered more than anyone else when RAW is in the UK.
>It also makes no sense for Reigns to lay out HHH if he’s not coming back to win it, but you can toss logic out the window on game day.
Actual quote from Meltzer
So sick of this heeb and his communist booking philosophy
I think they're super fucking dumb in a world where MMA is popular
Should only ever be escaped via rope-break. A legitimate finishing hold shouldn't have someone utilising a bullshit reversal that exposes it's status as a work, no matter how easy it might be.
>guy isn't tapping out even though he's clearly in immense pain
>guess I'll just let him go then
Not them but for me theatrics stop when the move looks fucking retarded which most submissions do.
It's like when I'm supposed to believe a move is more devastating because it's adjacent to a chair
It's as >>899155 said.
Reversals or counters to what is supposedly your best hold are dumb in today's world. Case in point is anyone getting out of Del Rio's armbar once he has it locked in, when everyone knows full well in reality he'd have snapped your arm before you managed to say...roll and flip into a pin or whatever.
The theatrics can come in regards to the struggle to get the hold on, or trying to drag themselves to the rope. Depends on the circumstances of the hold.
That's almost every move ever. So many moves consist of getting an opponent (usually willfully) into some arbitrarily complex position to deliver the same bump.
If wrestlers are to do as you say then every single move should be situational. For instance you do a piledriver because you happen to have wrestled the guy to that position with some resistance. You do a DDT because you struggled around and happened to find yourself holding your opponent in headlock.
Elbow drops, leg drops, aerial moves etc become completely obsolete since if the guy is spread out on the floor not moving, he's ready to be pinned (unless you do it instantly after knocking him down).
You can't possibly will someone to stand up by lightly tugging at their head, you can't even bounce the ropes since that gives your opponent way too much time to move out of the way.
See where I'm going with this? I just want to know what an ideal wrestling style looks like to you, since it seems you're willing to draw an arbitrary line somewhere.
But that's totally different. The issue with submissions isn't getting into them, it's that they look fucking stupid and obviously don't actually hurt at all 99% of the time and are super easy to get out of.
At least when someone reverses a slam or whatever they have to do some acrobatic or strength shit whereas in a submission it's like "woopsy fuckin doodle i let go for no reason"
There needs to be a rule backstage. You either tap out, grab the rope, or escape by a mental three count or you tap out. This "VALIANTLY STRUGGLE FOR 20 SECONDS" bullshit needs to end. How am I supposed to take a submission seriously if it takes so long to make someone tap out I feel they're taping out due to boredom?
>At least when someone reverses a slam or whatever they have to do some acrobatic or strength shit whereas in a submission it's like "woopsy fuckin doodle i let go for no reason"
Yeah, people either need to actually escape or tap out. Escapes can be quasi-realistic. Like before Del Taco gets his arm bar 100% locked in the "victim" reaches over with his other arm to grab the arm being put in the arm bar, and defends against it that way.
Basically, get out of the hold BEFORE it's really set in.
This submission discussion reminds me of the Bayley vs Sasha iron woman match
Why would Sasha tap out at 2 seconds left on the clock if she would have tied Bayley by just hanging in there for a couple extra seconds?
WWE goes full retard when it comes to submissions most of the time
> he thinks Bret wasnt the most over guy in his era
The reason Vince first gave him the belt in 91 was because he received 5 times as much fan mail as the whole rest of the locker room put together, Hogan, Savage and Flair included and this carried on until Austin happened
You arent even trying now
> only over in canada
You were either not born or didnt watch the product, post jaw now kiddo
America wasnt even his biggest fanbase and he was still the biggest draw and most over of his era there
> there are people dumb enough to call Nakamura a vanilla midget

When it came over to WWF/WWE, Triple H has the most combined day reigns. followed by Batista.
Who did CM Punk wrestle in his last singles match for WWE? (I've asked this before)
Trivia is gay
Post based as fuck criminally underrated themes that you have never seen get love in /wwe/
Why they gave the quebecois Rougeaus a theme called All American Boys is beyond me
Yeah Kane has only been WWE champ for one night in his entire career.
Next one. This one should be easy.
Triple H has been tag team champ only twice in his career with 2 different partners. Who and who?
Sup guys, i'm 26 years old and from Krautland (Germany). And i want to ask .. where can i watch live or recorded wrestling matches and events ? I'm COMPLETLY NEW to Wrestling, the only time i watched it when the first SMACKDOWN title hits the Playstation and everyone i knew bought it and was hooked for Wrestling for about 8 Months.
The Things i know about the WWE are:
-The Rock was the WWE Poster Boy Once
-Now it's Meme Cena.
-The Undertaker was a Gravedigger Goth, A Hells Angel , Dead and Now he's a Gravedigger again ?
-Kane was badass with his mask and now he looks like Karl Pilkington on Roids.
so uhm, Where can i watch livestreams, When are they broadcastet and is there a illegal and free way to watch them ?
ryback wwe champ headline wm32 walk down to ring with nikki bella
kevin obese owens headline preshow jobber match walk down to rring with koko the obese gorilla
So are they really going the 99' rumble route with Roman getting led to a beatdown backstage during the match and then coming back in an ambulance before Haitch or someone interferes and pulls him over the top?
Brock eliminates Bray, who then gets his cronies to eliminate Brock, and then Triple H gets an assist from someone to throw out Reigns who by then has already gone through like 2 tables and eliminated 13 people all by himself.

Watching RR 15 right now, Bryan got such a huge fucking pop when he came in then after he's eliminated the crowd shits on the entire match for the rest of it.
Why the fuck would they have him out so quick. Fair enough they didn't want him to win but I just can't understand why they didn't have him be in it till at least the final 6 or 7.. Some fucked up booking right there family. So surprised when I first saw it and still am.
I wonder if we'll see his return at the RR, if he doesn't come back now after being cleared by every doctor in the USA he'll never come back and he'll just be some NXT trainer for the rest of his life.
>ride of the Valkyries plays

How would you react?
>brock eliminates bray
>wyatts eliminate brock
>hhh helps sheamus eliminate roman
>and this is most likely
brock and roman eliminate each other like the cena/batista or bret/luger finish with the title again getting vacated setting up roman/brock fastlane championship and then h screwing roman for the title leading to their wm match. brock will fight bray for the title at mania. it books itself.
>Bray winning against Brock Lesnar
>Bray maineventing Wrestlemania
>Sheamus as temporary champion again
The only correct guess you have there is the Wyatts screwing Brock out of the Rumble
Who would you guys have be the dominant darkie/first (actually) black WWE Champ, Big E or Apollo?
Pic related is my choice. It may seem like a cut-and-dry decision between mic-work and ring-work but Big E isn't bad in-ring, not nearly Apollo's level but he's really good in his own right.
Meanwhile he outright slaughters Apollo in-terms of character, personality and general charisma.
Roman, Bray, and Brock and left with one more person to come
Bray eliminates Brock during the entrance. Pissed, Brock comes back it and eliminates Bray. Heath gets in the ring and stares down Roman. HHH runs in and throws Roman out of the ring before he can do anything.
Your winner and new champion: Heath Slater
Roman, Bray, Brock and Curtis Axel left with one more person to come
OH MY HOW IS ANYONE GOING TO ELIMINATE THE GIANT
Big Show comes in and immediately eliminates Curtis Axel who lays at ringside
Bray and Brock go over the top rope trying to eliminate each other and brawl to the back to set up their match
Roman and Beeg brawl, before Roman eventually throws Beeg out for the "win"
As he celebrates, this music hits:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JrSXcT-IzXE
It's Slater, Dallas and Rose.
Slater is waving a piece of paper.
"We have a signed letter from HHH confirming that Curtis was only eliminated from the 2015 Royal Rumble, and is still active in the 2016 Royal Rumble"
Axel runs up behind Reigns and shoves him over the rope
The rest of the Social Outcasts pull him over the other side for the win
Your winner and new WWEWHC under freebird rules: The Social Outcasts
>all factions use freebird rules now

>Bray getting a WWE title shot
>The most likely
>Roman not being in the title match at Mania
>Bray and Lesnar not being an uppercard non-title feud to take space on their crippled roster
nah ur retarded
It's Roman vs Haitch for the title in the ME.
>roman and lesnar double elimination finish
>vince comes out vacates the title yadayada
>fastlane! macmans try to screw reigns but fail
> wyatts fuck over lesnar i guess
>wyatts/brock mania and roman overcomes the odds once again yay
im im not a retard
Could this be the worst RR match? Could it somehow be worse than the last two?
Between the injured superstars, the talents no one cares about and thus we know will lose, Haitch forcing himself into the title picture for this feud which is stupid, just wrestle Roman if you want revenge. It doesn't have be for the title, it can just be to beat him up, that actually makes your possibility of winning exist because we all know Roman can't lose (or he'll lose only to get it back right away so we can pad his record out).
It's just a mess and no one is there to even give us false hope, unless AJ Style just waltzes in and knocks Roman over the rope.
It's moderately plausible that it'll be a double-vacation finish to set up a match at Fast Lane.
However that would end in one of two ways:
>It's Roman vs Lesnar, meaning Roman would go INTO Mania as defending Champ, not happening
>It's Roman vs Haitch, meaning Haitch would compete at Fast Lane, not happening
Sorry family. Hope you're ready for the King of Kings to chalk a W in the Rumbowl category.
>Drink every time someone says Rumble
>Ever False Elimination and Actual One
>Mention Both Feet and Top Rope
>Down entire drink for a surprise return.
Who the fuck would do this?
Brock vs Bray will happen, just not for the title. It'll be Roman vs Haitch for the title.
They'll spend the next three months building the Wyatt's up, making Bray look like a monster. Just so he looks credible enough where beating him means something.
So basically like all of his feuds.
>tfw gf coming over to watch the rumble
>tfw can't shitpost tonight
>tfw she's only coming to watch because she thinks Roman is hot
I honestly would rather have that then Haitch vs Roman for the title.
We don't CARE if it is because Roman is going to be the top guy for a long ass time, so we know he's going to win, and if Haitch does win, Roman is just going to get it back right away.
There is no tension because they've set Roman up and the new John Cena.
>Britfags pretend to be american to stay up till 4 am to watch american children's television

I think Reigns vs Triple H will be a good match
Hopefully WWE writes Reigns correctly again, similar to his Summer 2014 run, he was great then. Ambrose needs to get his shit together too.
>Not liking frogs
You're in the wrong general m8, fuck off to 2gayos or go back to your anime board faggot
>tfw can't watch the rumble because poor
>my gf would be down and would mark for people she recognizes
>Instead I'm maybe going to the hospital
>I think Reigns vs Triple H will be a good match
I don't, because I already know the outcome. Roman has not once gotten a clean singles loss. Either since SHIELD broke up or period.
>Ambrose needs to get his shit together too.
Well he'd be on track if he wins the Last Man Standing match. Sadly I kind of want KO to win because he has done nothing of note since the massive momentum of the Cena feud.
10 fucking dollars m8?you're american aren't you? you can't come up with two fives? your girlfriend doesnt have 10 dollars? theres something your not tellin me
>DBry wins the rumble
>Cena returns at Fastlane
>DBry vs Cena at Mania
fucking marking out
Due to Cena's absence, is turning Roman Authority Heel and sending Monster-Face Lesnar against the legions of cronies genuinely the ONLY way to make this Wrestlemania's Main Event somewhat decent?
>brock eliminated by family
Didn't think of that, well fuck me. Why are they doing Brock against those jobbers? Have brock against adr or rusev, that will be way better, fuck even do brock ramen II, that match was great.
TAKEN AT ORLANDO AIRPORT 52 MINUTES AGO
IT'S FUCKING HAPPENING
walmart loves hiring disabled folk. tell them about your prognosis and you'll have a job at the end of the week.
on your current situation i would recommend you head out to a bar and kindly asking the patrons to switch the big screen to the rumble
>tfw will never Jerishill as GOAT as this ever again
Hey. Listen to me. I didn't get my first job till i was 22. didn't start getting my lisence till i was 23. didn't kiss a gurl for real till i was 23. Never even pulled my foreskin all the way back till i was 19. nothing wrong with being a late bloomer.
>tfw kinda hype for the rumble even though I know there is literally no good outcome possible
There's no escape, is there? I'll be watching even as the company slips below 2.0 in the ratings, like a beaten housewife who believes he still loves me deep down.
Everything this year sucked, the only reason I watch is basically for those small glimmering pieces that standout, like that New Day match at TLC. I've become so used to being disappointed that all this shit booking doesn't even phase me anymore.
>mfw theyre calling it 1 vs All and not the Royal Rumble
Overall? I'm mixed. The main event scene is trash and the tag scene is stale as fuck, but I've been liking the mid card stuff e.g Del Rio/Kalisto and Owens/Ambrose. Hell, even the divas have been fun since December.
Crews is the most likely choice. Guy can wrestle, has the clean shaven baby face look, not covered in tattoos etc. I doubt he will, simply because Vince doesn't push black guys that high. No one else on the current roster will. Sorry, Big E, Kofi, Woods, Titus, Truth etc will never hold the wwe title. If Crews doesn't do it, no one will within the next decade.
