Is being a jobber a respected role in sports entertainment?
>>896908
>get on tv
>get paid
>all the other guys trust you and think you are reliable
>trusted to go out and get people over
>good job security since you'll always be useful for getting someone over
being a jobber seems good to me
Not to mention pic related's cult following and the fact he's the biggest meme since Carlito

Come on now, be fair.
Nobody is a bigger meme than Carlito.

Okay yeah you got me there. Never have I seen a wrestler go through so many different stages of gimmick than Rhodes though.

Ed Leslie?

Seriously, whoreally cares about a championship when you are making shit ton of money. Look at ziggler,, he's probably the highest payed jobber

The guys who could be making MORE money as champ?
>>899172
To me championships are more about job security and being able to get better bookings if you get future endeavored. Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Charlie Haas would have looked a hell of a lot better than that other guy with Shelton Benjamin.
>>899212
> Charlie Haas getting a world title
Not even Cornette would be that dumb.

Ziggler is a vanilla midgit, he would never sell as much as cena.
>>900213
the only selling ziggler does is over selling in the ring like a jobber

>Implying Scott Steiner isn't the epitomeme.

To other guys in the WWE locker room, it seems they get the respect they deserve. They do their job, get others over and bump and sell just as much, rather more, than anyone else. Hence KO and Stardust getting pissed at that dumbass who won tough enough for his tweet about the social outcast. I'm sure corporate just sees them as nameless faces to feed the rest of the roster though. I imagine that respect wasn't always around though. Take WCW for instance. They gave the totally over cruiserweights the shit treatment, the jobbers probably didn't have it much better. I assume the same goes for pre-attitude WWF.
