Is this the best main event match they got?
>main event is the 2 biggest wrestlers in the company who have depended on others to carry them to watchable matches
It'll be entertaining for all the wrong reasons
> I have a few regrets. My one regret is at times my memory... I can remember anything about wrestling, anything, but before... I don't know what year I got married. I would have to call my wife and say 'what year did we get married?' Or my wife will say 'you already asked me that' and I'll be like 'really?' Or, the other day I came home from wrestling, I pulled my bags out, I went -- it was about 3 o'clock in the morning -- I got home and the next morning my wife comes up and goes 'are you okay?' I said 'yeah.' She goes 'did you get hit in your head or anything?' I said 'no, why?' And when she first comes into your room and goes 'can I talk to you' you're like 'oh god, what did I do now, am I in trouble?' And she's like 'well, I went outside to throw out the garbage and you left your trunk open and it rained. Why didn't you close your trunk?' I said 'I can't tell you that. I don't know why.' Or I've left the refrigerator door open. Now I have an alarm on my refrigerator door that goes off if it's open. That scares me. Or even with my daughter, 'how was school, blah blah blah,' and then I'll ask them something and 'dad, you already asked me that.'
Perfectly fine and healthy enough to clear the WWE concussion policy!
>I dont want to see Big Show win the Rumble with 29 eliminations
>I like Showster but he's old, busted and tired. He should just put over a successor and enjoy a nice retirement.
>implying they actually have Dreamer under contract
They probably gave him the James Storm "deal" by not signing him but still letting him wrestle.
WWE's logic is that the performers are idiots if they sign with other promotions so they don't bother signing them.
>Also race mixing is wrong.
I wake up everyday and thank jesus im not a fedora wearing sami zayn fan.
Pretending to be Hulk Hogan wasn't awesome. Pretending Ric Flair isn't awesome.
Now i gotta act like Chris Benoit is good because you tiny faggots are so insecure about actual talent.
Creative knows that there are a lot of fans out there that love the Roman Reigns vs Big Show rivalry, don't be surprised if Big Show wins the Rumble and they feud until Mania where they have another classic
Because his technical workrate isn't up to par with guys like Neville and Dolph Ziggler, who are killing it every night. Unlike Roman Reigns who can't even pick up Tyler Breeze and he also gets gassed so freaking fast!
You fuckbois will never learn
>tfw you spend more time with the /wwe/ universe than your actual family, band members, and closest friends
The Bucks are so over that even real athletes are using their moves
Welcome to the Superkick Party
The following wrestlers on the main roster have never won a belt on Raw/Smackdown or NXT
Out of those 6, who will end up with a belt first? Who will never get a belt?
>Out of those 6, who will end up with a belt first?
Whoever forms a successful tag team since the tag titles are the easiest to win. I'd say Breeze or Fandango.
>Who will never get a belt?
I'd be very surprised if Rose ever got a belt.
>Regarding Tyler Breeze going from WWE NXT to the main roster, Triple H reportedly really wanted to protect Breeze and saw him as a heel on the level of Dolph Ziggler. Vince McMahon agreed and started Breeze at that level but then wasn't convinced and ended the push immediately.
>Triple H reportedly really wanted to protect Breeze and saw him as a heel on the level of Dolph Ziggler
>heel on the level of Dolph Ziggler
Jesus fuck, if HHH ends up owning WWE, we're all fucked.
BMJ could do so much better
the most beautiful women in the world should just be delivered to him and phased out every 6 months
or I guess he could date a woman who's replaced 90% of her body with 4~ year old parts
>Talents that are NOT over do not get over by losing consistently. It's simple human nature, folks.
>WWE returning to timely usage of 'enhancement matches' will not hurt them. There are so many excellent, workers out there looking to get noticed that these enhancement matches 2.0 might be a pleasant surprise and would help get incumbents over via winning. Plus, a new star might just get discovered.
ok, yeah that's how it works now
Ideally it would work in a more Keynesian system where the company (government) works to artificially boosts wrestlers (fed interest rates) for the crowds reactions (banks lending to consumers). But we fucking /zimbabwe/ now (forcing all economic stress on one tanking asset as a point of national [related to the rock] pride and failing hilariously.
>tfw WCW was the WW2 that got us out of the Great Depression
WWE mimics history
Post yfw trump buys WWE and makes every minority job and Reigns gets buried
>literally took the only puro star any americans have heard of besides okada
>casuals don't know who okada is
>took the most over ganjin in history
>has 50% of the biggest outlaw faction and the basis of most NJPW storylines the west has cared about for the last 3 years
N-NJPW is f-fine
Ehh my favorite is a minority and already jobs.
honestly if you go with BMJ at mania you are a certified main eventer. RuRu will be fine. Bray wrestled taker twice and was the gateway for reigns. I think they have things in store for Rusev. They're blind but they aren't that blind.
>mfw I'm in this webm
oh yeah, I agree. He's a much better leader than AJ. Should've taken over when Devitt left considering AJ had outlaw feuds with other guys in BC when it happened.
but it's kind of weird since Omega isn't the typical ganjin. The dude even speaks with a japanese affect now.
>Because of a knee issue, Rusev may miss the Royal Rumble match.
>Triple H will say Roman made it personal
>Triple H will always point out that Roman will be facing the Celebral Assassin, the Architect of the Attitude era, the Icon and Face of the Attitude Era, The Game and not the COO stooge
>Triple H will break the 4th wall and say that fans boo Roman
>Triple H will call Roman a B+ player and the A+ one is injured and he's nothing more than a transitional champion
>if Triple H wins the belt in the Rumble, he'll also call himself the 15-time WWEWHC
and it's not even close
>ywn have a compost toilet and eat the cucumbers and tomatoes grown with your's and her's shit
Randy Orton was looking/sounding like Patrick Bateman after he confessed to his lawyer and met him at Frank's just to find out they pinned the whole thing on Halberstram
I know my math is exaggerated but you didn't even provide alternative answers
that's usually what you are good at even though you're always wrong
but thanks for taking the bait m8
>tfw only tie to /sp/wwe/ is bretkek and poland's autistic rumble
>someone is super over on raw?
>gimme the fucking shovel
AS A MATTER OF FACT ROMAN
HERES THE THING ROMAN
YOU SEE ROMAN
literally the most talentless piece of shit ever
I almost wish we could have seen the planned Punk vs HHH feud just for the promos
With the Network constantly showing Kliq docs and HHH always trying to get himself more over than he was I'd love to see Punk call him out on it
I know, and I was just rewatching the "Phil Brooks talking to Paul Levesque" promo and it made me think that he would have had a lot more fuel now since the Network is out and they just play Kliq docs every other day
>Have to go to bed
>I'll just watch one interview
>Load up Jim Cornette on HBK
>2 hours later I'm watching Buff Bagwell on 2 Cold Scorpio with 54 tabs open
buff bagwell did not deserve this
fuck shane helms the faggot
God, why the fuck are WWE continuously wasting their money and time on these shitty boring vanilla indie midgets? Nobody fucking cares for them and nobody will ever fucking care for them besides the niche non-paying audience that is the neckbeard IWC smark community. Please, keep these boring shitties on NXT and away from my television.
Spoke to an NXT producer yesterday and he had some interesting things to say about the Chicago shows. According to him, they will NEVER book The Portage Theater again. He said the LED screen/tron never worked, the heating issue, no proper seating, slanted ring, lack of help from Portage staff. He did mention that NXT would be coming back to Chicago this year.
Just wanted to give a positive shout out to shop.wwe.com support team.
Last week, I ordered some shirts to wear during the upcoming Rumble Weekend. I always spend the weekend with friends drinking, playing 2k, and gearing up for the Rumble. We do this for the main 4 PPVs (and meet for eats on all the others). So I decided to get the New Day Run DMC shirt, Balor Club, and a KO shirt. Get my package in; got New Day and Balor club...but in the shrink wrap for the KO shirt was a Roman Reigns shirt. (inb4 bury Owens because he's fat and push Roman).
I rolled my eyes, picked up my phone, and made the dreaded call to their customer line. I work in a call center and I assumed this was just going to be bullshit from the start. The lady on the other line was beyond supportive (even though she had ABSOLUTELY no clue about wrestling when I was saying the names of the shirts). She reported the problem, stated that the inventory must have labeled them wrong and placed the replacement shirt order in. They threw in overnight shipping to make sure I get it before Rumble Weekend. All in all, one of the nicest experiences I have ever had with any company.
So...yeah, just wanted to give some props to part of that organization. Super professional and well run. We may all get a little let down by WWE not being exactly what we want on screen, just remember that there are plenty of great people there working hard to make us happy as much as possible.
TL;DR: Bought KO shirt, got Roman shirt instead. Getting replacement shirt and have free Roman shirt to give to girlfriend because she thinks he's the real Big Sexy.
People keep saying this, but NXT has a huge show like 2 days before mania. Thats where an NXT title match belongs. Besides theres really no point in putting a guy in developmental on the biggest show of the year. Give them something to work too. Theres already countless people who are barely gonna be on the show who are on the main roster.
Meh. Theres def a 0% chance they do it. They could have a bunch of interesting matches that could open Mania. Kevin Owens vs Ambrose ladder match? Neville vs Kalisto? New Day opening the show? Really is endless options that could be hot. Mania is still pretty far away.
>People keep saying this, but NXT has a huge show like 2 days before mania. Thats where an NXT title match belongs.
There's three titles to be defended, though. Would people be against Jordan and Gable main eventing the show and finally getting their payoff? Heck, could even throw Enzo and Cass in there and make it a triple threat for added intrigue. I think the NXT crowd would be far more into that match and title win than anything else on the card, and it leaves room for the NXT Championship at 'Mania.
But if nothing else, I at least hope NXT is showcased in some regard. Wrestlemania is the biggest gathering of hardcore fans from around the world. It'd be cool seeing NXT get some love on that big stage.
It'd be better if they just had a random NXT match at WM instead of a title match. The NXT title has to be defended at their own ppv and I can't think of a solid reason that the title would be defended twice in one weekend. Plus, even if they did it once there would be no way to do it again believebably (explained in kayfabe i mean).
I know NXT wrestlers get in the ARMBAR too...
TIL between 1993-2010 Shawn Michaels had the match of the year 11 times (over 25% since the accolades inception 40+ years ago), but has never been PWI superstar of the year.
And only one of those MoTY wasn't during Wrestlemania season (March-April), he also had a run of 7 consecutive wins.
Ric flair has won 5 times (11%) and The Undertaker 4 times (9%).
Just thought it was interesting to note.
Not that I don't love JJ & Gable as much as anybody, but why is everybody so IMPATIENT for them to get their championship reign?
They haven't even been teaming for a year. Give it time.
Bray really just needs to win high profile feuds. His character could warrant a WHC run where he brings the WWE to its knees, but piling on titles won't really help him. His character has never really been motivated by championships.
Why would Aitch be on the poster for that match? If they needed a manager for Bryan, they should rope Shawn Michaels into coming back for a month or two to do it as Bryan's original coach.
They can sweep that whole "Shawn superkicked Bryan" thing from the lead up to WM30 under the rug.
Kalisto is probably going to work better with someone who isn't also 5'5'' flippyshit. Not necessarily some immobile shitstack like BEEG, but a Rusev or Big E or KO. Someone big enough to provide a good anchor for the flippyshit, and a contrast to it, while still generally mobile and capable enough to have a bit of their own offense outside of grinding the match to a turd freezing halt every time they cut Kalisto off.
I can't imagine them actually pushing the E&C and Mechanics fued to Dallas. If they don't blow it off on a random NXT show and put the belts on American Alpha at Dallas they would make a horrible booking decision.
They do book the NXT tag titles weirdly desu.
>blake & murphy had them for ages despite nobody caring about them
>had a chance to put them on enzo & cass the most over team at brooklyn
>instead they retain and put the belts on vaudevillains
>nobody cares about vaudevillains and they drop the belts to another team nobody cares about but at least is pretty good
>vaudevillains and b&m are now jobbers
They'll probably put the belts on the Hype Bros next if their previous booking is anything to go by.
you are being cucked bro, u need to ram more often your gf's ass
Tbh, the ideal time to put the tag titles on Enzo and Cass was at Takeover London. I was there, and people were literally fucking spitting venom the entire fucking time. I'm not sure if it made it to the broadcast, but people were fucking screaming abuse at Dash and Dawson as they left.
I guess they would be going with the angle of Lesnar being a renegade champion (remember when that was teased for like a week?) while Bryan is HHH's most loathed guy, but possibly the only guy left who can stop the Brock.
I was a couple of rows back from the barrier on the ramp, and some guy was literally fucking screaming "i hope you don't make it out of london alive, cunts".
London got worked fucking HARD during that match.
>You see-ah, Roman
>You're not just facing a man
>You're facing The Game-ah
>The Cerebral Assassin
>The King-ah of Kings
who /fullofdread/ here?
>tfw I actually would not be mad if Haitch became the Champ instead of Ramen
At least he looks strong in terms of physique and doesn't hide behind fucking vests with a Hardy Boys logo on it
>Enzo and Cass win
>Hold for 4-6 months
>Lose to whatever heel team, let's say BAMF because the idea of them being the first 2-time NXT Tag Champs is fucking hilarious
>BAMF win the rematch on the next weekly show
>Enzo and Cass have nothing left to prove in NXT, debut on the main roster
>Couple of weeks after that, BAMF lose the titles to American Alpha
>Bryan Alvarez's wife likes the seacucks because marshawn big bull lynch
C U C K
Why does one of those teams have to turn heel? You can have a face v face match, or a 3-way or 4-way. It's that kind of predictable heel v face at all times booking that's helping make WWE stale.
>currently on that smarkbuster's raw review binge
>during a time when WWE was actually decent with Bryan, Weed the People, Shield, pre-streak, etc
What went wrong?
the stars have aligned these past couple years
>Connor + Seahawks winning superbowl Yes chanting
>Seahawks BTFO, Patriots win,
HHH wins and bbygirl main events
HHH going fucken over
Long time lurker first time poster. Do you guys like wrestling? Or do you actually hate it but just like talking about it? I only ask because every wrestling thread I've read, and I've read a ton of them since like 2010, is just shitting all over everything. I'll hang up and listen to your response.
Anyone else think the dynamic between Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman is quite sweet?
>vince about to fire heyman
>bork comes out and f5s him even though he could (should) be fired for it
>whenever there's some big ass brawl that brock comes out for heyman is right there next to him because he known brock won't let anything happen to him
Admit it you would mark the fuck out
