Who's your favorite/most hated airshit celeb. What makes you love/hate them?
Pew pew! Hahaha! So is this the fun nerf gun club I keep hearing about? Can I join?
My favorite airsoft "celeb" is Robo Murray.
He's HATO scum, but he's honestly the nicest guy I've ever met in airsoft. Like, impossibly nice. It's weird.
Rate my dyed ACUs? Wanted something a tiny bit lighter than OD.
Going to the only field open tomorrow which is a paintball/airsoft place. Expecting more speedsoft type atmosphere so I am going to try running just a belt rig without any extra shit. I don't have a molle belt system so I put everything onto my dragonspine and I think it's not too bad.
Inside view. They're close together and heavy enough they don't slide up or down too much. Only the dump pouch is fit for the belt specifically.
Belgian Congo gear in the field finally! This time with a Brush stroke jacket.
I want to get some airsoft guns to play with friends and save money over paintball, any recommendations? I'm seeing airsoft pistols in the $20-30 range, are they crap or is that reasonable if you're not going full mil-sim?
>Old Mall with Cinema
>3 floor CQB area, 2500 square meters
>get excited, drive 1h with team to site
>run by a russian couple
>speedsofters, underage children, no chrono anywhere, blindfiring, shitters not calling hits nor grenades
So much disspaointment, we'll probably go rent the place and organize a game ourselves
I know, I hate them with passion, but I'm not the only one on my team
It's at a seaside town called Lloret de Mar, Catalonia, Spain
I know it sounds mean spirited, but this is a badly organized belt setup. you may not think things will slide, but they absolutely do and it will ruin your day.
It's hard to tell how tight and high your dropleg will be on you, but it should be as close to your hip as possible and as snug as possible before being too tight. you also really don't want mags immediately above your holster like that, as it makes it super hard to access your pistol.
if you're just kinda plinking around in casual games its probably not THAT big of a deal though. if you're happy with it, then that's that.
CQB seems to be fucking terabul in America and parts of asia but not elsewhere. it's so easy to just regulate semi-auto only and/or mag cap limits and/or RoF limits. I don't know why they don't do that as a standard.
>it's so easy to just regulate semi-auto only and/or mag cap limits and/or RoF limits.
That's actually what something like 90% of CQB places do or are implementing nowadays. You only hear about the bad ones though because those are the fields the much hated speedsofters go to. When CQB is terrible, it's because of the attitude of individual players. I've had faggots who think they're above the rules try to pull shit and after I chew them out when reffing they get quiet real fast. There are fields out there that don't crack down on rule-breakers or don't have rules that encourage courtesy and fair play. Those are the fields that don't get business and close down.
Good advice. The leg holster sits high enough on my leg with this setup. The pouches above it are a bit inconvenient but I think it'll still work. The setup isn't suppose to be serious, it's just since I'm going with two mates that have no equipment and I don't want to look like a complete retard with a full kit on and them in jeans and tees.
Really I just want to see if I should invest in a proper belt carrier
Because /toy/ are a bunch of libtard manchildren who are afraid of guns.
"a-airguns are not toys!"
Seriously, a guy had his (real) rifle visible in the corner of a photo he took, and a LOT of posters jumped on him for it and confronted him with about it as if it mattered to the thread at all in any way.
Given that there's a common sort of 'sport' played with Soft Air Guns, one that's actually rather close to paintball, I say it fits on here rather well as an enclosed general (even though I just casually collect and plink).
My dad wouldn't have minded me back then if I wanted to spend cash on airshit, go play soldier and act like a retard in the woods
As long it kept me off that "darned computer" and my "damn nintendo games" he was happy
Ever since I left mom's for my own pad, he doesn't care about anything anyway.
The only thing more pathetic than "an" grown American man owning fake guns to compensate for his small dick is someone who considers using a tripfag thinking he's hotter than anon

Took the words right out of my mouth, anon.
Remember, gentlemen: always report, always ignore.
Okay, /asg/, FNC guy here again.
I'm gonna have my first non-rental game this weekend, and I'm thinkin', which loadout should I go with: this one...
...or this one. The first one is more comfortable, except the hat, the second one is more tacticool , and allows to carry more stuff.
>When I hold an AK I get feels I don't understand
there has to be some canadian anon here..
say i want to do a canadian impression, it would obviously be cheaper to buy an m16a2 and paint it right? compared to buying the g&g version. however the g&g version comes with an actual elcan scope(copy?). If i'm interested in doing the paintjob and then buy an elcan, it's cheaper right? Anyone have experience with something like this?
what are some good goggles that fit under a MICH 2000?
Tried fielding my KJW 1911 for the first time today. All 3 of my magazines failed immediately. Each one had the same sort of issue; it would fire the first shot fine and couldn't cycle for the second shot. Sometimes it would discharge a little cloud of gas. I tried them again when I got home and same thing happened, except no discharge of gas. Any ideas on what is going on?
ESS Profiles, or Bolle T800s if you want something a little different.
Belt-only loadouts are generally pretty fun. Airsoft replicas lend themselves to sneaky breeki and speed anyway, and belts will still let you carry a bunch of ammo in decent midcaps or hicaps.
Look into some of the molle battlebelts out there if you find things are sliding around enough to become a real problem. I picked up a cheapo emerson to try out a first/second line setup for CQB and it's really really great, though something made by Flyye would probably last longer.
I'm in Canada and mostly just get raped by ordering local because our dollar is monopoly money tier.
>CAD was monopoly money at one point
>Becomes stronger than the USD
>Canadians start buying stuff from the United States
>The USD comes back up and the CAD falls
It's like poetry.
Seriously though, economics is a bitch.
Tapco aren't fantastic but they still have a few decent products.
Oh yeah, the G2 trigger is actually quite good, possibly their best product.
Their plastic AK mags I hear are actually not bad for their price, lighter in weight than steel mags. I figure 20rd Tapco mags would be a good fit for a Draco pistol, because you'd be keeping weight down while still having lotsa firepower.
I wonder when Magpul will make AK 'tanker' mags for SBRs and pistols? They already make 7rd, 10rd and 15rd mags for AWB states and other restrictive countries, so it's not like they can't be done.
I just have this old-ass M58 pattern webbing, which I really like. It's comfy as fuck, and I got it for dirt cheap. Can't use it with multicam, though.
fellers i bought a CM.040 and 2 midcaps and it only feeds upside down with all the mags, what should i do? i just want to pew pew :(
Those are not the best bbs, so they might have made a bad batch. Try G&G or Bioval. The mags should be fine. You could try changing your hop up bucking. The stock one is pretty bad and can be the cause of this problem if it's malformed, too hard, broken or installed wrong. Prometheus, Madbull, Maple Leaf and Falcon have good ones.
>not G&G Green bucking
if you're shooting sub350 I'd recommend the G&G Green bucking.
G&G BBs leave lots of shit on the barrel, they're good but they can be a problem if you don't clean your shit after every game
>inb4 not cleaning your shit after every game
after some cleaning it started to feed well with the hicap but the midcaps won't feed at all unless upside down
should i really not spray them with silicone spray? the taiwangun website says i should
So I recall seeing a while back something about how some company (I think it might have been WE), were supposed to make repros of the MPA modern MAC guns, but that was a while ago.
Did it just fall through or what?
It isn't "glued" tight it moves a little but i figured it's normal because real magazines wobble a lot
I tried taping them but it didn't seem to make a difference
Turning it to minimum means sliding the little slider all the way toward the stock?
The store store also says not to load the magazine fully on the first time, i loaded about 40-60 would that be problematic?
I've bought stuff from TG several times and the fields I play at limit the energy for an AEG to the maximum of 2,25J. I don't see how the shop would determine the energy of his gun. Quite a few store offers the possibility to swap a weaker spring in to a new gun.
Push the lever forward to minimize it. Load the magazines full and release the bbs. Do they burst out violently in a split second or in a span of like five seconds? Do some of the bbs get stuck or is it a continuous flow?
No, on the AK Hop Up, sliding towards the stock turns it up: in pic related, sliding to the right would turn it down. Do some other tests like >>889602 suggests.
2,25J is a lot. I was just saying that a lot of european countries have FPS limits. When I get my replicas from TG I have them install a weaker spring to get it under 350.
They should just work as is, so don't fiddle too much.
Give it a quick clean, tiny amount of lube, and screw it back together, and see how it runs.
I've seen it where the plastic inner magazine wasn't screwed together tight enough from the factory, which caused sporadic feeding (were the screws particularly loose when you took it apart?).
>would changing the folding BB pushing piece for a non-folding piece change anything?
>should I clean it out?
Last time. BUY BETTER BBs.
Cheap shit is cheap because they've cut corners in the manufacturing process or quality control. That means that they may or may not work for you. The bbs you bought can be bigger, smaller, lighter or heavier than advertised and at worst case scenario the shape can be closer to an oval than a circle. Trust me, I've played airsoft for a decade and I've tried several different BB brands looking for something cheaper than G&G. When I was new to the sport, I though low quality bbs meant inaccuracy, but I was wrong. Low quality in bbs means that you'll have feeding problems, because the bbs get jammed or flow out of the magazines too slowly. If you somehow manage to get those low quality bbs in your barrel anyway, they can be hilariously inaccurate as well.
This christmas my friends and I ordered about 25kg of G&G bios for a multitude of reasons. We have never had any quality problems with them, they are very accurate, they are extremely cheap in San Marino but the store has ludicrous shipping fees.
So I've been looking at the slow but stronk insurgence of eastern european/ex-soviet bloc airsoft manufacturers.
I was expecting them to be shit as they're priced around the £100-£300 mark, or at least not be as good as glorious niponno counterparts, but stuff like E&L looks downright amazing, does anyone have any experience with these blyat blasters?
Only time I ever opened a midcap was when a piece of debris stopped the follower moving all the way up, which in turn stopped the little knocker that hits the bolt stop from working.
Only took 5 minutes to rectify.
CZchan wanted a dog so I went out of my way to get my little girl a puppy.
If you go with the G&G you'll end up having to replace the motor after a bit and it'll need to be overhauled to preform well. G&G have decent externals and it's possible to upgrade their guns to higher end provided you sink some cash into it. The sight's definitely a knock off and if you're buying from Toronto airsoft you'll be paying 450 bucks for it. Just do some research and see what your best deal would be.
So my only local field is a cqb area, but its not horrible on the right day. It's not so much speedsoft as tactical close quarters room clearing. Anyway, I recently started learning to love the AEP. After spending a small fortune on fancy guns, my current absolute favorite gun to run as a stock JG vz61 AEP. Its light while still feeling realistic, it is accurate enough, and shoots fast enough for cqb. Its full auto shoots just barely slower than a high end semi auto, so nobody bitches about bursts, and it hits light enough where I dont have to bang whore. I love this gun.
Anyway, is it worth ordering the TM Scorpion?
I'm new here guys, from /k/. I'm thinking about getting into airsoft. I want to really get involved for affordable cross-training and combat sim.
I read the sticky and already have my guns picked out; I can use my current gear and just swap the magazines out. Anyone have any suggestions for a newbie?
A live firing prototype model.
It's more or less Kalashnikov's take on the 7.62 ACR, but it seems that it's just a regular AKM in a new shell.
I recently bought an old (2006) Tokio Marui M16 A2 and a somewhat newer (~2010) Classic Army G36 off some dude on craigslist. Is there any reason these wouldn't take at least a 7.4v 1300mAh 20c lipo? I don't have a harger for the NiMH batteries they came with, and i doubt they're still functional at all. I'm new to airsoft and don't wanna fuck up by just blindly plugging Lipolys into them
Thats cool then. Also is this good enough of a charger? http://www.specshop.pl/product_info.php?currency=EUR&cPath=22_233_196&products_id=12025&name=iMaxRC_-_Ladowarka_B3_-_LiPo&language=en
or do I have to shekel out for the more expensive B6? Im mainly concerned with overloading LiPos and I dont know if the B3 has any kind of protection against that
nice to know, thanks man
have this reaction image in return for your help
Anyone have problems with matrix or any of the other cheap drop leg holsters having their pistol mags eject while running? Anyone know a way to fix this?
Also what good pouches would go on the direct sides (under the arm) and on the back of a platecarrier? Thinking of a med pack for the side and something more useful than a hydration pouch for the back.
Do any of you know of an xm8 that is still being made? It turns out those have been largely discontinued for some reason. They used to be everywhere a few years ago. I'm not looking for a specific brand, I mainly just want the stock. I can put my own parts and shit in it.
Can anyone suggest a decent helmet that isn't 200$?
H&K never licensed them period, which is probably part of the reason why.
Generally speaking, H&K guns are sold through Umarex/ Elite Force since they have an exclusive copyright deal. It's the reason why finding JG G36s from major US sellers is kinda hard.

Anyone have any experience with Cyma MP5's ?
I want to order one with a 6.03 223mm precision barrel and have the spring adjusted for our 360 fps field limits, anyone have an idea what i should use for reaching around 340-350 FPS ?
Heavy, but very well balanced. You'll want to replace the cylinder assembly and hop-up bucking too though. Also, you'll need a 229mm barrel, not 223mm.
Do be mindful though, the bodies are pot metal so they will crack if you're too rough. Mine has held up, but I also take very good care of it.
You don't need a quick detach. There's 14mm negative threads under the orange tip under the QD flash hider. Have to remove a pin to get at them. If you still want, you can get them, they're just harder to find.
Is it possible to give this rifle: http://www.evike.com/products/29565/ this suppressor: http://www.evike.com/products/51769/ ?
How do you like it?
I was considering getting one from Evike since they're stupid cheap (I know I would need to shell out ~$100 for a metal slide though. I was thinking silver, or titanium if I could find one) and I've always liked the P99, especially the first gen ones. Second gen P99s just aren't sleek enough.
Yes, but the PBS-1 isn't made for the AK and it will trigger the autism of some Slavsofters.
This would be the proper suppressor for a 74un.
That one's a smidge more expensive. Thanks.
And it's good, but my only complaint is how light the slide is. Like, stupidly light. You can lock the slide back by pushing your arm forward too fast.
Way back when xm8s were everywhere I thought they would have caught on with the whole modular parts thing. I thought maybe people would buy a whole kit type of thing with different stocks and uppers with different barrel lengths.
I wish there was a good M2 carbine GBB so I could recreate this.
King Arms makes an M1 carbine that's essentially an M2 aesthetically, but lacks the fire selector.
Also no 30 rounders, but since it's based on the Marushin then you SHOULD be able to use the Marushin 30 rounders with propane.
No 30rd mags is kind of a dealbreaker.
I want to pretend I have an M2 Carbine converted to .22 Spitfire to act like a progenitor to an assault rifle (it'd be like having an AC-556 before the AC-556 almost)
I had one like those. Felt great in the hand but just fucking fell apart.
Note that I don't even skirmish, it just couldn't stand up to some handling. It had a fire selector, but it wasn't actually select-fire (the selector wasn't connected to anything). It was basically an M2 entirely besides the select-fire, and it was marketed as an M1.
Also, spare mags are fucking impossible to find, it's like there's only one mag per rifle.
You don't necessarily have to replace your current bucking. You can just sand it down. It's in your best interest to use a flat nub as well.
>Really? They're like $12 here in The States.
Yeah. There are none in central yurop shops. Havent checked UK shops yet but I dont really want to pay extra for shipping and considering how bong pound is expensive for me
my jg skorpion is a pile of god damn shit that double feeds the few times it actually works and oozes bb's out like a sad cartoon cumshot
Pity that no manufacturer makes anything that's an entire modular set in a box. It would be the tits if you could buy one set in which you can reconfigure the gun for all kinds of roles, rather than having to buy the parts separately from other manufacturers, or spend an age trying to source from the original manufacturer (I'm looking at you W.E, took me ages to get a retractable stock for my MP5).
Using the XM8 as reference:
> Start the day using it as a marksman rifle, longer inner barrel with a stronger spring (quick change gearbox)
> Screw this, people are getting quite up in my face
> Go back to safe zone, convert into compact role, use weaker spring
I have a shitload of guns (including different variations of the same gun for this reason, eg 870 tactical and breacher, or MP5 and MP5k), but it would be nice not to have to bring so many.
Marushin mags are even pretty difficult to get hold of in Japan. Most of the airsoft shops I've been there tend to cater more to collectors. That means selling guns, but with few to no spare mags in store. I've literally seen entire display cases filled with marushin guns, but with only one or two spare mags actually in the store.
That would be cool, but real expensive. They'll jack the prices up just because it's cool. What they need to do is just make more aftermarket things. Just like what everyone is talking about now with marushin magazines or your mp5. Modularity and stuff wouldn't be so bad if we could actually find the damn parts (at affordable prices preferrably).
i bought one of those lancer tactical barretts, how much am i going to cry
Shieeett if they made a xm8 with those features quick change spring, removable inner and outer barrels without too much tech work. The styer Aug suppose do the same like xm8.
The original xm8 replica what gearbox did it use?
i'm just a man that wants to be big
so youre saying i spent the hundred dollars i worked my whole life for just for a piece of poop oh no
yeah no youre ugly bub
No, its a stupid plastic springer which he clearly bought drunk for the keks
They're banned from pretty much EVERY major milsim company: MSW, AMS, LCS, Blacksheep, a bunch of smaller outfits including all the ones in New England. It's a damn miracle those guys are still around.
Dude simunition is nothing new. MIL and LEO agencies have been using it for like a decade now.
Hell, my local cqb place did a simunition event a couple of years back in collaboration with some LEO training company. Would have went if it wasn't ludicrously expensive and if I was 21 at the time.
>autistic lack of sense of humor
One of them was trying to recruit on reddit not long ago.
The words 'warrior', 'brother', and 'sworn in' were bandied around.
I get that they want to compete effectively, but they take themselves so seriously to point of cringe.
Modded a Taimya connector in the place of that tube battery contact for my ICS M4. Kinda annoyed that the original crane stock requires me to unscrew open the butt each time to insert and remove the battery. Can anybody recommend a compatible crane stock that has an easier to remove back?
I baught a VSR-10 fully upgraded (propper nineball bucking and 6.01 PDI and piston, no 90 degree trigger tho) for 1145 USD. This is converted from NOK to USD so keep in mind that because of the oil and gas prices and the 25% tax on everything you buy the "real" price in USD is around 850 USD. Good deal or what?
scope and 3 mags included.
Are you aware that 350€ buys you a full PDI upgrade kit? That's little over 400€ with tax. Secondhand Marui VSRs and decent scopes can be had for 100-150. With that kind of budget, you should have been looking for Maruzen APS2 instead of VSR. For that price it really should have had 90 degree trigger.
Hey guys, just so you know, we've been having trouble with one particular faggot in the Skype group, and after not deleting some /b/-tier posts, he had to be removed and the join link turned off, so once again, if you want to join the skype group, post your skype and someone will hopefully see it and add you.
Aaaaaand we just made a new skype group so we don't have to close down the whole chat just to stop one memeing fuck. New skype link:
>there are no batteries included
They both have neomagnets, so they should be okay. Guarder pinion gears aren't very strong and P&J pinions don't mesh very well bevel gears. Either way, I'd suggest you buy an SHS pinion gear with the motor. P&J has an extremely high torque 28TPA armature. Guarder probably has faster armature that's probably around 20 TPA, but I can't really so for sure.
Some optimistic RPM estimates with 11.1v battery. If your gun makes squeeky noises, expect less.
28 TPA + 18:1 = 17 RPS
28 TPA + 13:1 = 24 RPS
18-22 TPA + 18:1 = 22-27 RPS
18-22 TPA + 13:1 = 30-38 RPS
took my stoner apart, trying to put it back together and part of the lower receiver guide snapped off. is this repairable, or am i fucked?
SHS HT motor is bit tricky. Older ones were really fast 16 TPA models, but from what I've heard SHS has recently changed to 22 TPA.
If you got stock 18:1 gears, buy a motor that's 22 TPA for sure like JG Blue, ZCI HT or Commander GP1000.
difficult to get started with the wires hanging out of the gearbox, but once i got the second set of receiver guides started it seems like it would stay secure. if anything, i'd still want the broken part still on to make putting the gun back together. otherwise, sliding the two parts is tight as fuck
7,4v LiPo should pull almost any spring with that motor unless your gearbox is shimmed like shit. Because you have to ask, we can assume that it is. If your LiPo isn't able to give enough amps for the motor the gun won't cycle as fast as it should and the battery will deteriorate fast. The new neodymium motor won't require as much amps as the stock ferrite motor, but it may still require more amps than your battery is able to handle. Probably the easiest way to determine if a LiPo battery is able to handle your gun is to try with another battery with very high mAh and C, but same voltage. If your gun cycles faster with that battery, the other one very likely isn't able to give enough amps.
Since you're using a 7,4v LiPo, you should reach about 15 RPS with 22 TPA motor and 20RPS with 16TPA. Latter will require lot more amps though.
Swap piston, bearings, nozzle and spring. Preferably gears, piston head as well. The stock motor should reach 20RPS with 11.1v although I'd advice you to buy a 22TPA neomotor and a mosfet. Whatever you do, correct the AoE.
I buy mine at a hardware store

TO HAVE GOOD FORTUNE IN CQB
god damn I died laughing
So I am thinking about buying a Echo1 GAT. I have no experience with Echo1 or the GAT for that matter.
Is it decent? I really want a tight little CQB gun that isn't gas or an AEP. Plus it fits my bad guy OP4 look.
It's a good gun, just got it a week ago. For some reason it has a tendacy to misfeed with midcaps. Feeds fine with the hi caps. Also the slide is made of plastic so be careful when you need to change tje hop up.
Also don't hk slap this. My friend broke my gat 10 minutes after buying it.
