The worst drawing champ of a bygone era to counter the worst drawing champ of the current era.
Vanilla midgets need not apply.
>all those bryan cucks coming out the woodwork
Fuck off, Roman should main event and go over brock this time, we need a new top face for fucks sakes. Your outlaw karate a+ meme got hurt at a fucking house show, he can't carry the fucking company, and deannetty should go back to that backyard shit he came from.
If Paige returns soon after her concussion subsides is that all the proof we needed that WWE is deliberately keeping Bryan shelved? I see no reason she'd be cleared while he isn't other than 'he's a threat to bbygurl's lukewarm receptions'
>I'm 6'5" little bud.
Lying like this to an anonymous stranger on the internet
>He was still good on the mic and in-ring.
I'll give you that he was still good in-ring. His mic work was anything but good during his run.
>Just got an invisible reign with the most irrelevant title in the company
Blaming it on the belt is a cop-out. He came out as IC champ every week and could've easily played it out in promos. Barrett got the IC belt as well back when it meant nothing and he made it work (until his injury that is). If anybody ever got an invisible run it was Ambrose's US champ run when he was in the shield.
Diesel had better buyrates, house show attendance, and tv ratings than both HBK and Bret. It is fact just click the show more on this video link, it shows all the statistics pham
Yeah, because of muh shooting and muh crazy fan. Shows how sensitive everyone is. No way bullet club will fly either after the last couple years of mass shootings. If they don't change the name themselves, Vince almost certainly will.
>tfw Vince changes it Karate Club
>tfw Vince forces them to come in traditional dress complete with geishas
>"Well, they wrestled in Japan didn't they? That means they're from Japan aren't they? It's funny DAMMIT."
No single man should ever carry the company. Especially when you have the oppurtunity to make new stars but refuse in favor of making your main guy look strong. Looking at you 2005-2010 vince
I wonder how Cena feels about having to pass the torch to such an inferior guy.
>John Cena will retire within your lifetime
I seriously cannot imagine Roman carrying this company like Cena has. Not even trying to be a hater, but I just can't.
No single man should ever carry the company, but we both know one will. Vince is firm in his belief that it should be this way. It won't ever change. It'll be a decade of Roman, then whoever the hell is next. Maybe Steph will pop out a son.
>tfw Rollins/Reigns is the Stone Cold/Rock of this era
>tfw Ambrose is the HHH of this era
>tfw Tyler Breeze is the Chris Jericho of this era
>tfw Becky Lynch is the Lita of this era
>tfw The Usos are the Hardy Boyz of this era
>tfw The New Day are the Edge and Christian of this era
>tfw Kevin Owens is the Big Show of this era
argue with any of these, and you're a contrarian faggot
>Kevin Owens is Big Show
Ignoring the fact that Show is still around and will be for some more years, literally how? Owens is short, has way better cardio and is pretty much different in every way except for being fat.
>Breeze the jobber anything close to Jericho
Doesn't even deserve a response really. The guy was dead on arrival and will go absolutely nowhere.
I hope Cena's not in charge of that account.
This is gonna be one hell of an interesting period for the Roman Reigns Project. Will he generate genuine interest during Wrestlemania season with almost everyone else who would effortlessly steal his thunder on the shelf and Vince Fucking McMahon openly sacrificing himself to build the guy in the process?
'Threat' my ass. They fucked with this very thing last year and got lit up by the crowd for it.
Sad fact of reality; WWE looks to the bottom line. Thing is, Roman can be #2 all he wants; but he has to reach Cena's level for that to mean shit. If Cena outsells Roman in merch even while he's out of commission, that's a bad sign.
'Course it didn't take him too long before he fucked off to WCW and rendered that whole thing moot, sad to say.
We'll never know, sadly. Cena will never dare tell all after he leaves Wrestling.
They need to hurry up and throw Nakamura and Styles in, along with Balor and Joe onto the main roster. I guess that's the plan after the RR?
Joe vs Owens in a liposuction on a pole match
>Kalisto wins the US title on RAW
>loses it on SmackDown
It would be much more meaningful for him to win it at Wrestlemania anyway as opposed to just defending it.
Giving him a plucky, somewhat cheap win and a brief title reign that he immediately loses clean right back to Del Rio builds him as the underdog that fans can rally behind and Alberto as a believably dominant Heel they can rally against.
So they can all that much more easily vie for him win his gold back from the big bad Heel by finally scoring that decisive, clean victory at Wrestlemania.
>$10 says Roidbotch is the one to beat ADR for the belt.
This has to be the worst case-scenario.
If it's not Kalisto I'd kinda like Neville to go over because at least he's fresh and people give an iota of a fuck more about him than Ryback.
i kinda get what you're saying
Ryback has better consistent reactions but crowds have more latent love for Nev that comes through when they pretend to give a shit about him
i can see it desu
no, and she's losing at Fastlane too. Literally pure filler for the Boss.
>there was a time period in which Seth was both WWEWHC and US and Ryback was IC
Holy fuck how dark that was.
At least we have separate WWE/US Champs and not just one boring cunt eating up the air-time for two belts now. And Ryback isn't a Champ anymore.
Probably true. I don't know if they'll do Charlotte v Bex again at Fastlane, I hope not. I hate it when they repeat matches at PPVs. At least do a triple threat or something.
Sasha is a qt and a talented little flower.
>Her merch isn't cringe shit like "lass kicker"
Maria and her cuck boyfriend should've walked their way to NXT
>missing this booty ever
>Reigns has eliminated everyone
>even the beast, Brock Lesnar
>one more superstar to enter
>"REIGNS IS STUNNED"
>"THE FORMER DIVAS CHAMPION!"
>"BIG FIGHT FEEL IN ORLANDO MAGGLE"
>Brie eliminates Roman after a 5 minute back and forth
would /wwe/ mark?
Nakamura will be built up as a top heel (think Rusev first year) only to be fed to Roman to make him look strong. Styles will basically be a midcarder like Dolph. He will be used to make other midcarders look good and maybe win the US or IC title. Finn will be pushed basically like Jeff Hardy 2.0. He will probably be their fall back guy if Roman gets hurt in the future.
>being this wrong
>Nakamura being top anything
>Nakamura being a Heel at all when he's gonna be the guy they've expressed they'll use to sell the Network in Japan, thus basically confirming he'll be face
>Finn being anywhere near Top Guy-tier with his hilariously bad talking
AJ will probably be around Dolph tho desu
Little higher considering the hype but yeah midcard
>Vince pushing a foreign wrestler as anything besides a heel
Who was the last guy he did that with? I honestly can't recall. Every non American born wrestler almost always debuts as a heel.
>Meanwhile she just dismisses everything and refuses to say why she hasn't been on TV in weeks
Not making any statements pertaining to her injury or anything, but this could easily be chalked up to her being an unimportant part of an unimportant division.
Finn's one of the few people actually worse at talking than Roman.
Also, he's not the Rock's cousin and he's not nearly as handsome. There're a lot of other factors going into Roman such as nepotism and looks that Finn lacks coupled with his absence of speaking that makes Roman a viable candidate in the eyes of the WWE and him rightfully not.
And, once again, their clearly-expressed desire to make him the Face with which they market the WWE Network to an entire country would strongly suggest they'd want him to be a Babyface.
Pick one. At best he looks retarded, at worst he looks ill under the lights.
But honestly, I think we all need to come to terms with the fact that Roman is going to be THE guy for the foreseeable future, barring any injuries that put him on the sidelines. He's going to be like BMJ when he was first pushed into the main event light. Just need to come to grips with that and accept it, or stop watching WWE if you don't like it.
>skinnyfat jap with a retarded hairstyle
>booked as a monster heel in WWE
I get what people see in his physique but his face looks ugly to me.
His gimmick is money but the problem is that he only does it once every month-or-so and its entire appeal is that it's a rarefied thing which is something of a hindrance when he's a complete void of character and personality in-between his monthly paint sessions.
Jeff kept his paint constantly and it made sense for him to do so because of his background.
If Finn did it'd just wear thin quick and if he keeps it irregular it'll expose how boring he is when not painted.
They need to flesh the gimmick out a lot.
>With many of its top talent currently on the disabled list, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) took the unprecedented step today of banning superstars from sustaining any form of career-interrupting injury.
>“We are putting a stop to this epidemic right now,” WWE Chairman Vince McMahon said during a press conference at the company’s Connecticut headquarters.
>“The WWE Wellness Policy henceforth forbids performance-limiting injuries, especially prior to WrestleMania.”
>The company made the drastic ban amid a spate of injuries that have sidelined top money-drawing talent including John Cena, Cesaro, Seth Rollins, Sting, Daniel Bryan, Rusev and, presumably, Damian Sandow.
>According to the revised Wellness Policy, any WWE Superstar caught during random testing with illicit injuries will be hit with a $10,000 fine and will be forced to join the Social Outcasts.
>To prevent injuries, all WWE feuds will henceforth be settled not through violence, but through open dialogue and compromise.
FRIENDLY REMINDER OF THE CRITERIA NECESSARY TO CONSIDER A WRESTLER A "BOY"
>A Boy must not be a current or former World Champion in a promotion of grand present or historical importance (WWE, WCW, NJPW)
>There must be a "Grinch Factor": Acknowledgment that you are somewhat ashamed of holding your Boy as a Boy
>Your Boy must not be universally respected
THESE ARE THE CRITERIA TO FORM A TRUE "BOY"
WHO IS YOUR BOY
Another shitty list on WWE dot com.
They should have signed full time with NJPW so we can get more shots like this.
White Jesus will return to save us.
Just gotta get through the dark times.
If they had someone believable to roll at the Top with Cena and didn't put the entire weight of the WWE on his shoulders (say, hypothetically, Angle stuck around), and they were able to be more versatile with his character, Heel-turning and playing around with it much more, would he be considered a GOAT?
>WE'RE A SPORT, COACH
>YOU USED TO WORK FOR US
I feel bad for Coach because it must be like the retarded kid in the playground trying to talk to you.
Except he's a huge, rich-ass Texan man. Still embarrassingly autistic though.
>you are now imagining sex with Roman
He'd start out looking like a vision of strikingly majestic, pristine, statuesque Samoan radiance.
Then he'd start spearing away and making all of his retard faces and muttering "B-BALEEB DAT" under his breath whilst talking about magic beans.
>social outcasts shirt outsells everyone in the company
>Vince figures they must be money and pushes them to the fucking moon
>turns them face and brings up Bayley to join them
>Wrestlemania ends with WWEWHC Heath Slater, Intercontinental Champion Adam Rose, United States Champion Curtis Axel, ARMBAR Winner Bo Dallas and Divas Champion Bayley standing tall
face it, you'd fucking mark.
Wouldn't really care about Bayley desu
In fact it doesn't really make sense, the SA are guys that never got a shot whereas Bayley has always been backed and given heavy build.
Should be some nobody NXT jobberette, Bliss-tier at least.
Why don't they just cut to the chase and make him Doink the Clown already?
I want to believe, fuck Ascension though they can stay in jobber hell
I feel that they could be solid additions to the mid-tier of the Tag Division because Konnor has an imposing look and Viktor's quite good in-ring.
It's just that their gimmick kinda needs to be taken a little seriously and dialed back a lot.
Just need to let the world burn and give is Ramen/Bork II so the crowd can boo Ramen winning the title in the main event.
If this happens do you think they'll finally pull the plug on Roman Reigns or has Vince's ego grown to the stage where it has consumed him and their continued resistance will just cement his dedication into forcing Reigns upon them?
I've kinda been re-turning around on Ambrose.
He was good post-Shield then he started phoning it in obnoxiously in-ring and now he's trying again.
Some of his spots are still shit (JAB, CHOP, JAB, CHOP) but he's doing much better and he's still one of their absolute best at selling. Like, near Rusev-tier.
Would make sense. It's also likely that being literally booked as Roman's little brother with the sole life-purpose of getting him over kinda sapped him of the will to live.
Can't really blame him there desu
Same here honestly. I would've liked to see him be more of a brawler than just PUNCH, JAB, PUNCH, JAB. Guy is money on the mic and selling with Ru Ru, but fucking hell. He doesn't do anything other than "LE WACKY ANTICS" :/
>Although Ross signed all-time greats such as The Rock, Kurt Angle, and John Cena in his time with WWE's talent relations department, Ross claimed that Lesnar was the first person he signed that Vince McMahon wanted to meet.
>"[Lesnar] was the first recruit I ever signed that Vince McMahon actually went out of his way to want to meet. Lesnar was the guy that when McMahon saw him, it was like a man crush. And I can tell you this, and I don't think I've ever told this story before, Vince said, 'I understand that we're talking' and [Lesnar] said, 'yeah'. [McMahon] said, 'well, what do you want to do when you get out of college?' and Lesnar's answer was, 'I want to be an entertainer'. He didn't say, 'I want to be a wrestler'. He didn't say, 'I want to be a pro wrestler'. He didn't say, 'I want to be a sports entertainer'. He said, 'I want to be an entertainer'. And I thought McMahon was going to be orgasmic."
Who /Vince x Brock/ here?
Fucking Brock, I know how he picked up
>I mean, the tagteams are getting really fucking over now.
Are you confusing the Main Roster with NXT or something?
I see only one Tag Team that anybody gives a legitimate shit about and that's New Day. Usos are jabronis and the Lucha Dragons got their momentum up-ended by the undisguised blessing that was Sin Cara's injury.
Other than that they're just filler, misused or misused filler.
>2016 will be remembered as the year of tagteams
when the realist guys in the room debut raw after mania, yes.
So if you don't have Brock Vs Reigns in the main event at Mania, what do you do with Brock?
Brock vs Bray Wyatt? Bray carries the entire feud with promos for 2 months and then gets his ass kicked at Mania?
big cass is ready, enzo isnt but then again hes the small one so he just needs to be quick, get beat up and sell so big cass can come in and clear house.
but thats not saying much.
cass has that move, bunch of strikes, and tossing enzo around.
i want to see big suplexes and powerbombs from a big guy.
he could even do that thing where he picks enzo up into a vertical suplex, holds him up, yells some shit, and tosses enzo on the other guy.
Brock vs Rock 2 sounds like something they'd want to do.
Can't really think of anything good to do with Brock, I'd rather HHH vs Roman at mania since at least it'd be a new match up and they've been building it up, both of them can be there every week to continue to build it up too.
>Vince will not let Roman look weak
Once again, Roman is Haitch's project, not Vince's.
Haitch confirmed this himself in Austins podcast.
I'd like to see HHH go over like he went over Sheamus.
>HHH vs Roman at mania
>mfw the biggest draw in the business and the sole architect of the Attitude Era ties Hogan for WM main events
>How can Haitch stroke his ego in this scenario
Pretty easily actually. In his mind he will think "nobody has put this kid over properly yet, i guess i'll have to do it to really get this Reigns movement started"
>Brock vs Rock 2 sounds like something they'd want to do.
true but rock wouldnt risk his movie with that match or to say the movie company wouldnt want that either, the stiffist guy on the roster brock vs rock nah, if he broke 2 things with BMJ in a good clean match, I can only imagine what he would break in a match with brock.
Enzo is very ready. He's a fine wrestler and bumps very well. All he needs to do is talk and bump and he does those great.
>but thats not saying much.
But it's saying they have enough.
If they went from NXT to the Main Roster they'd honestly do less moves than they do now, so saying "they need more moves" is completely redundant.
>i want to see big suplexes and powerbombs from a big guy.
guess we need big sexy to come and talk to big cass. Maybe even be his manager when he goes solo.
Yeah that would be the biggest issue, I think WWE really wants it though.
They even have King mention in 2k16's commentary how the Rock never had a rematch with Brock.
Personally if I had to choose a guy for Brock to face it'd be Bryan just because it'd be an interesting match but Bryan should not go over.
I think I'll take Hunter's word over yours mark.
Whether or not it started as Hunter's project, Vince has clearly taken over. He would not bust his ass this hard for a guy he didn't truly back himself. He's probably a bigger bbygurl mark than HHH himself now.
I'm not sure about that at all.
Think about the transition. The Mechanics are much more heavily-hinged on their ring-work, their roughneck, heavy-handed style. It's central to their gimmick, the Main Roster isn't kind to ring-work and streamlines it to a point of banality across the card.
Enzo/Cass are more focused on their speaking and character work. The ONLY Tag Team that have likewise been focused on that in recent memory is New Day who are a success.
Logic would say that Enzo/Cass are a much better fit for the Main Roster than the Mechanics.
>the Mechanics are more ready for the main roster than Enzo and Cass are
That is absolute BS. The mechanics have the worst gimmick in NXT whereas Enzo and Cass are the most over. And yes, they'd be over on the main roster too.
I don't know. You can question his choice in the next top guy but NXT is reflective of the type of way WWE will be booked should he ever assume that mantle.
If you like that more than Raw/Smackdown you should probably look forward to it.
I'm not big on watching Indies regularly. Just watch matches featuring people I think are pretty good on jewtube now and then.
I'm assuming that "garbage feds" are referring to him being known for working with feds that focus on hardcore wrestling? Are guys who work hardcore looked down upon by a portion of indie marks?
That may be true. I guess he'll have his flaws, but overall his booking appears to be more solid than Vince's current stuff. It'll be interesting to see what happens when the time comes.
NXT is catered to smarks. They use NXT to get young guys over with smarks. So that way, when these new guys that have already gotten over with smarks on NXT don't get booed when they get to Raw by the 25 year old virgins who watch wrestling for the matches.
It's genius really.
NXT really isn't that good, but you guys swear by it just because it's less popular than WWE.
Smarks are wrestling hipsters. "He sucks now, but i'm a big fan of his early work."
Except THIS is what's killing ratings. It used to be a sin to have unproven jobbers at big PPVs like Wrestlemania, now you have these post-WM29 tards who want to see untalented faggot jobbers like Sami Sayn make their debutes/main event said PPVs.
