He took the beating and still laughed at brock.
>Mfw there are smark cucks who hated that match
It was literally MOTN at mania.
>seth's moon sault was awesome
>the rko curbstomp was awesome
>roman throws brock into the turnbuckle 5 times and he gets bloody
>brock no-sells superman punches
>weak ass spears
i'll grant you it was the second best match of the night but seth is the reason why it was memorable
>marking for reigns
you and your ilk are killing wrestling
>you and your ilk are killing wrestling
How many fedoras do you have stashed away in your closet?
>marking for reigns
>Acknowledging that a Roman Reigns match was good is killing wrestling cause it's not being a mouth breathing redditer wootist who thinks only flippy shit is what should count
>You in charge of knowing what a moonsault actually is
>A match is "100 x better" because of one spot
So still new to wrestling stuff. Question.
Was Wrestling tv scripted from the start, it did it just evolve into that?
Like I just wonder who said "Hey, let's do a soap opera like thing but have Wrestling involve!"
Or were there like real life rival shit going on, and those always sold the best, so they decided they needed to make fake ones so they could keep selling tickets?
> praising Reigns for doing literally 2 moves and some crappy strikes
Lesnar could've had the same match with a training dummy.
Actually, he'd probably have a better match, 'cause at least the training dummy would know how to sell and is probably more charismatic
>i don;t know anything about professional wrestling
>I'll still keep relying anyway
put a fucking trip on so I don't have to waste my time
>analyzing matches down to spots
>implying reigns can even nail a spot
don't reply to me again assbag
>put a fucking trip on
You'd like that wouldn't you redditer? So used to downvoting people on reddit eh?
>Says a bunch of bullshit that isn't true
>Gets shot down
>His entire rebuttal boils down to hurr durr loman leigns sucks fugg samoans you're killing wrestling
Wtf would you know about wrestling when you were born in 2001?
it grew out of bare knuckle boxing in the streets
you'll have to do a lot to research if you try to figure out who really started the idea of "worked" matches but it caught on during the great depression in America
Well it's not as agonising as the HHH matches or as much of a dud as The Streak but it's in no way good
Lesnar's best match since his comeback was against Punk because it was an actual MATCH
>Liking a Roman match
>Being so underage that he marks for whatever WWE tells him to.
Once you reach that age please have sex.
>you'll have to do a lot to research if you try to figure out who really started the idea of "worked" matches but it caught on during the great depression in America
So it really is kinda "Or were there like real life rival shit going on, and those always sold the best, so they decided they needed to make fake ones so they could keep selling tickets?"
I wonder if they ever have(like past 20 years)/ever will do a feud with people legit fucking hating each other and saying how they feel about the person.
I know Brock and Undertaker didn't like each other, but still kept it professional.
>Being so underage that he marks for whatever WWE tells him to.
>The company backed man? Well I would never be such a sheeple. Wake up sheeple! It is pretty obvious of the propaganda that the company is trying to force this top guy down your throat! Me personally I like to root for the underdog guys, I consider myself a Kevin Owens and Bray Wyatt fan. I even dabble in some Daniel Bryan fan boyism. When I'm alone in my room I find myself yess'ing and thinking about wrestlemania 30. My interests include browsing /wooo/, watching botchamania, obsessing over NJPW and catching up on the latest happenings on ROH.
>I know Brock and Undertaker didn't like each other, but still kept it professional.
U wot? Taker used to go and watch Brock in the UFC. And he wouldn't have jobbed the streak to him if they didn't get on.
It's funny how Bray's motto is "Anyone but you Roman" and he perfectly embodies the physical appearance of what the internet smarks think about Roman.
Vince is doing it on purpose to make fun of them.
Uh oh, how dare the company have a top guy.
Bruno Sammartino,Hogan, Shawn, Nash, Austin, Rock, Cena. How dare all these people be "forced" to win the big matches? Why wasn't Scotty 2 Hotty a world champ?
>U wot? Taker used to go and watch Brock in the UFC. And he wouldn't have jobbed the streak to him if they didn't get on.
Taker and Brock have both said in interviews that they didn't get along in like 2011 or some shit when Brock was in UFC.
Shit Taker was rooting for the other guy.
Maybe they made up later, but they didn't like each other at a time.
>You wanna do it?
>Break the streak I mean
>I keep asking people to end it but they keep saying no
>batista and randy wont return to main event wrestlemania
i think im done
>implying Roman will lose the title at the RR
>changing champions on the fly in 2016
He'll beat everyone in the Rumble and Brock thanks to KO hitting Brock while Hunter comes in at #30 and gets in the ring after a 10 minute Motorhead entrance.
Post yfw Ramen breaks his own record by eliminating 29 other superstars and then goes on to lose and regain the title 14 times to tie ric flair. Loses at fastlane to Brock because Vince shenanigans then beats him in 13 seconds at Mania
Hmm i have a few. Here is a lesser known non-meme one
Here is another non-meme alltime GOAT match , probably my favourite tag match of all time
>Not turning Roman heel and declaring his reign the "Reign of Terror"
Literally writes itself
If only they weren't using him to try and replace Cena as the top babyface that cancer patients can cheer for
Did the Wyatt Family seriously come out for the main event just to fucking stand around and do precisely fuck all? Why the fuck wouldn't Bray send in Strowman to prove a point to everyone? This is some bullshit.
Ratings are actually on the up-and-up since he left.
Reigns isn't even tanking, sadly. I wish he was because quality of TV has dropped even further than Seth's reign.
I didn't think I'd actually miss Seth's dragging promos but they've almost got me to that point, having Vince drag Reigns through segments as he makes baleebing faces is just sad.
You're looking at it purely with logic.
Sasha's less important/pushed so when it came down to it, forced to choose, they'd give the win to Charlotte/Becky because Sasha's on the back-burner.
Also, Becky's just being built as an underdog, she won't take Charlotte's title.
Why does Cole look like shit? His face is always really, really red and veiny like he's been huffing on some fucking helium.
Yes when she's not smiling.
Why don't people post Bliss anymore, is it because she doesn't look like a 12 year old with that juicy ass she gained?
>Vince...I think it's time
Post yfw Da Big Guy wins the rumble and successfully defends his tittle from Brock at wrestlemania
>mfw he gets lower on the card than where he currently is
Bray Wyatt was actuely aware of the multi-faceted threat posed by the team standing tall. Bare in mind that the numbers game was against them (5 v 4), so they already only stood an 80% chance of coming out on top. Bray would also have been aware of the history between Ryback and Curtis Axel as Rybaxel, noting that their chemistry as a team could have posed a slightly greater threat, perhaps even diminishing their chances of the win to 75%. In addition, both Ryback and Axel are former intercontinental champions, thereby giving them a slight boost in effectiveness, dropping the chances of a Wyatt victory to 65%. This isn't to count out Heath Slater, who lest we forget, has significant wins over a number of former champions, including a victory last week against former multi-time champion, Dolph Ziggler. This takes the chance down to 60%. Finally, Social Outcasts are a new stable, and perhaps being mindful of the slight boost a new team gets from the initial hype of joining together, Bray felt they may not be worth the risk, as this would take his chances of the win down to 50%.
tl;dr - Bray Wyatt calculated that The Wyatt Family had only a 50% chance of victory, and ordered a tactical retreat.
Wyatts and Lesnar in the same ring would be some kind of Freddy vs. Jason / Alien vs. Predator / monster vs. monster -thing.... as of itself, it would be hugely interesting, but in the larger frame of storytelling it would bury one or the other really badly.
...not that the Wyatts haven't been shit-booked to oblivion pretty much already.
>but in the larger frame of storytelling it would bury one or the other really badly.
Have Braun reasonably contend with Brock to a somewhat limited extent (he's already shown he can trade some blows with Taker who's close to Brock) and then have the rest of the Wyatts run in for the beat-down.
Make it a No DQ Match so it doesn't end in a shitty DQ Finish. They all gang up and just decimate Lesnar after he has a decently hard-fought match with Braun that he was about to win, keeps getting back up, they keep putting him back down, he has a little flurry, Bray hits SA outtanowhere, they do some over-the-top shit and Lesnar FINALLY dies.
You could even have Bray do something sadistic or go out of his way to force the WWE to make it a No DQ so that he seems like a mastermind who was planning it all along, brag about how he got one over on Heyman himself.
It could be neat and it's something remotely believable that could happen, too. They don't treat Bray with THAT much importance on the shows (see: getting driven off by fucking Ryback and jobbers), but they clearly have faith in him. He's the only guy aside from Lesnar, Roman, Punk and Haitch who's been allowed to work with Taker in recent years.
Raw was so shit. Only good part was that fan blowing the fuck out of Sheamus. The whole show was so fucking stupid.
>crap intro, steph is phoning it in and vince just can't do it any more
>match we've already seen 10 times over the last few months
>lamest beatdown ever by owens afterwards
>we are actually supposed to believe ambrose needed medical attention from that

>the epic continuation of the stardust v titus o'neil rivalry
>the y2j/usos/new day stuff was actually not bad
>wyatts v social outcasts & ryback are feuding now lol
>wyatts will probably lose
>new mysterio beats del rio to further denigrate the us title after all of cena's good work
>announcers play it off as if it's a massive upset even though del rio is a jobber who nobody cares about
>still no sasha in the divas title feud
>flair calling someone (the ref?) fat boy was hilarious though, i like to think he was saying it to brie bella
>the "one vs all" match turns out to just be reigns v owens in a glorified lumberjack match
>didnt even realise tyler breeze was there until reigns got thrown to the outside near the end, did the announcers even mention him before that?
>wyatts do nothing although that might have been good booking for them, since everyone else there looked like jobbers
>brock is only in the ring for like a minute
All in all I rate that Raw a 2.1/10.
I agree with a lot of this, but
>still no sasha in the divas title feud
is not a bad thing. They clearly have plans for her in the future, judging by her being undefeated and she's been kept away from Charlotte all this time. It's better everyone gets a turn rather than them just pushing Sasha to the top immediately. It's better to avoid turning her into Nikki or Paige, hogging every single title shot.
>new mysterio beats del rio to further denigrate the us title after all of cena's good work
Are you implying noheato was doing anything with it? He defended it like twice between October and last night. It's clear that Cena will get the title back soon enough, though I don't see them putting him against a face, so Del Rio will likely win it back before then. I don't see Kalisto as a step down from Del Rio desu. Now that the title is away from the league of jobbers we may see it defended more often.
>Not liking Based Kalisto winning the US Belt from Alberto No Heato
The main event was fucking retarded, I don't understand what the point of any of that was.
Only good things were New Day promo, and the fact that the Social Outcasts are apparently face.
>is not a bad thing. They clearly have plans for her in the future, judging by her being undefeated and she's been kept away from Charlotte all this time. I kind of agree. I'm not sure if I want Bex to win at the Rumble or not. On one hand she is 10 times better than Charlotte, but on the other hand if Charlotte retains it'll make Sasha's win at Mania better.
>Are you implying noheato was doing anything with it? He defended it like twice between October and last night.
Lol, no! God forbid. ADR is a pile of crap. I'm not a big fan of Kalisto either though. His moves are good when you see them the first time but he does the same ones every match, and he can't talk. He was dope as fuck in the ladder match though, he should stick to spotfest tag matches.
>I'm not sure if I want Bex to win at the Rumble or not. On one hand she is 10 times better than Charlotte, but on the other hand if Charlotte retains it'll make Sasha's win at Mania better.
I feel the same. It's a bit of a dilemma. On one hand, I don't want to see Sasha v Becky *again*, but I really want Becky to have the title at least once in her career. Considering she's nearly 30 and has a lot of mileage on her body from the independent circuit, she may not be around very long.
Agreed on Kalisto. Really that goes for most high flyers. Flippyshit gets old fast.
Whatever you think of Kalisto he's a step-up from ADR.
He can talk enough to put him firmly above Del Rio in that regard. He's also more exciting in-ring and is an actual surprise win for the US Title.
All of this is much better than it stagnating on Del Rio.
>>the y2j/usos/new day stuff was actually not bad
Y2J was to most cringeworthy part of the episode. Everything from his entrance, outfit, out-of-touch jokes (lol im hip kids i know social media) and his attempts to get rooty tooty booty over just proves he is a mindless corporate shill.
Pls Vince, just one encounter before they both Retire.
> the new botchamania intro
First time ever hearing bryan alvarez but man he has the most annoying and obnoxious voice i have ever heard. I take it the woo fedora faggots pretend to like him ironically
>mfw bryan returns at the rumble

I could honestly just see this now
>Taker walking down the hall
>Audience vaguely sees Stang in a wheelchair in the shadows on the right
>Taker turns around
>"I'm watching you Deadman."
>Stang reverses back into the shadows slowly
>You see Taker mouthing "The fuck was that...?"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brWKmlmvlic QUE ES TU MALDITO PROBLEMO?
Both of them are stiff workers so it's all good.
>that good pop for Lesnar
>shit is over within seconds
I believe that's the first RAW of Romans reign as the WWE champ where he didn't look strong at the end of it
what I thought was funny was how marks say that Owens will be a good match for him but he got suplexed right away. Apparently Sheamus is the only one who can hold his own for a bit, which means Reigns can as well :/
Owens and Sheamus are booked at about the same kayfabe levels
Owens is a bit more protected, actually.
For reference, they both had matches with Sheamus that ended in double countout recently.
Owens/Ambrose took eachother out.
Ambrose took Sheamus out and Owens then blindsided him.
>I was listing people who look like they could wrestle Brock in the ring and make it look competitive
So you were speaking in more of a shoot sense?
Then literally nobody.
He's a shaven fucking ape, how can you even list Taker's decrepit shit.
Does anyone ever listen to the themes and imagine each of your favorite wrestlers marching out to battle?
There's nothing wrong with doing the Hollywood Blondes' hand cranking motion thinking about taking on Ravishing Rick Rude (who was sexy as fuck btw)
Best Wrestling Bodies Ever:
1. Ravishing Rick Rude
2. Randy Orton
3. Scott Steiner
4. Bill Goldberg
5. Christ Masters (too bad he was a shit worker and on the mic)
6. Shelton Benjamin
7. Titus O'Neil
8. Triple H
9. Brock Lesnar
>thinking they'll miss the obvious storyline opportunity of The Big Dog™'s redemption
>thinking they'll kill their own road to WM in the crib
>thinking they won't take the opportunity to stat-pad Reigns to 3 World Titles
He'll face Taker again at WM in the End of an Era (this time for real, seriously, redo) Match.
He'll finally beat Taker and retire him.
Taker goes out on his back to a deserving young guy in need of the rub, the cerebral palsy assassin, the king of kings, RIPPLE AYTCH
I dunno, it's actually somewhat of a possibility.
All the rumours that float around at RR time get inevitably shit on at Mania and the WWE do different things.
I wouldn't be completely surprised if they threw them together one last time. They'll want do their utmost to fit both on the card and they have no other viable opponents.
I don't expect it but it's scarily plausible by their standards and reasoning, basically.
>no Booker T
>No kofi kingston
>no bobby lashley
>putting titus o'neil anywhere on that list
I have word that sting was supposed to win at night if champions and Kane was supposed to chokeslam sting which set up undertaker vs sting at wrestlemania after sheamus cashes in on sting some time before the rumble...
>All 28 rumble participants confirmed
>Only 2 that aren't jobbers are Brock and Roman
>No surprise entries (No D'Lo Brown, Scott Steiner, Val Venis, Juventud Guerrera, Meng)
>Literally have to watch 29 matches with Roman "3 moves lol" Reigns
I seriously care about nobody in WWE but Damien Sandow
It was a great match yeah, and easily the best on the night. It was also the only good match on the night.
The cash in ruined it if anything. Reigns getting the shit beat out of him is endlessly entertaining, and he actually played it really well.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns defending
WWE United States Champion Kalisto
WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose
WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston
WWE Tag Team Champion Big E
Alberto Del Rio
Bubba Ray Dudley

>Paige has been dealing with a slight concussion, but hopes to return to the ring soon, according to a recent interview with Channel Guide Mag. For the time being, she's at home in Florida.
Of course she got herself injured, she's fucking retarded.
It was only a matter of time, look at her matches with bayley, stupid bitch trying too hard with her selling she almost broke her own fucking neck.
I don't even know what to believe anymore.
>Meltzer says Orton may need neck surgery
>Orton says no
>Dirtsheets saying Sasha is injured
>Sasha says no
Either Meltzer doesn't know shit or the E is forcing the stars to keep quiet.
That's even worse for her then, if she's not out injured and WWE suddenly stopped using her completely on Raw and Smackdown after getting all those wins then she must be in the doghouse.
She almost certainly is injured though, why would she not even be on tv, if she was in the doghouse she'd probably at least job to becky and charlotte.
Meltz is moderately reliable but he gets to commit one of the fundamental sins of journalism and be his own source due to the fact that people vest too much faith in him.
This is because he arrived to the party early and was the first really well-known wrestling journalist. It's a really niche thing that he has an abusive chokehold on so he says what he wants.
Honestly, it sounds like WWE management told them to say they're not injured.
WWE is very paranoid when it comes to their corporate/brand image.
If two stars say they're injured, then that looks bad for them, especially with the Punk lawsuit about how incompetent the doctors are.
There is definitely something fishy going on with Sasha. She denies being injured but doesn't appear on TV or at the last few house shows. Reports say Tamina was on her own at the last one so who knows what the fuck is going on.
>Honestly, it sounds like WWE management told them to say they're not injured.
>WWE is very paranoid when it comes to their corporate/brand image.
>If two stars say they're injured, then that looks bad for them, especially with the Punk lawsuit about how incompetent the doctors are.
honestly i wouldnt doubt it, not to mention to make the dirtsheets look bad too.
She's backstage or appearing on Superstars with "Team BAD" while Becky and Charlotte have a program going on.
If you want to wank over whatever Meltzer says go back to /woo/. The man is almost never right about anything he speculates about.
Way to miss everything I wrote.
She was in the middle of getting pushed and winning matches every week despite not being in a storyline, and no she's not on tv or house shows.
Why would she miss house shows? Tv you could argue its to keep the focus on charlotte vs becky, but there's no reason for her to miss house shows.
She's definitely injured.
I hate how they try to get their doctors over now ever since Punk blew the lid on their shitty operation
The wrestlers will praise them in promos and those fake segments with the doctors taking care of the wrestlers
