I used to play airsoft with a semi serious community when I was in Highschool. It was pretty fun. Then later I saw actual combat and decided that dressing up and imitating it wasn't all that fun anymore.

It can be considered a sport though with the right rules, provided you don't take it too seriously.

Looks like it could be fun but it is expensive and where I am from can get you easily killed.

To me it is basically larping with guns. I don't mind larping, and think it could be fun, but it is just something I can't get into for a number of reasons personally at this time.
