REEEEEEEEEE GET OUT
Does the yakuza really run NJPW?
>>3157750
Not anymore.
>>3157753
When did they stop running njpw? Was inoki secretly yakuza?
>>3157760
>The Dynamite Kid states in his autobiography that Antonio Inoki was once slapped around by a Yakuza member backstage. Inoki, realising who was doing the slapping, thanked him for the honor.
>In 2012, Pro Wrestling NOAH was embroiled in a scandal when it was revealed that the Yakuza strong-armed people into attending NOAH shows when attendances were falling.
If they were ever revealed to had a hand in NJPW, it could lead to shutting down the company.
All meme-ry aside, was Cena-Punk the definitive feud of Cena's career and the "Reality Era" or w/e they wanna call it? Cena-Orton was always pretty bland an the matches were never memorable, I guess you can argue Cena-Edge but the Punk matches were better, and so were the promos imo.
the edge feud was way more important to Cena

1993 WWF is such an awesome and underrated year.
>Lawler vs the Hart Family
>Doink the Clown
>Bam Bam Bigelow
>Shawn vs. Marty
>Lex Luger
>Yokozuna
>Steiner Brothers
>Money Inc.
>1-2-3 Kid vs. Razor Ramon
>Flair vs. Perfect, Loser Leaves Town
>Debut of Raw
>Raw in the Manhattan Center (BASED)
>Randy Savage on commentary
Most of that stuff is individually cool but it's all for shit because the draw that it was built around was Diesel. If you have no main event scene, you have no company.
>>3157644
Diesel didn't win the title until November 1994
No it sucked.
WWE business collapsed in 1992. They put the title on Bret, then when business was down they put it on Hogan out of desperation. Then they forcepushed Lex Luger out of nowhere and botched it completely. Throughout all this they were pushing an immobile shitter, Yokozuna, as the top heel with a Japanese menace gimmick that was 30 years out of date.
In 24 years time I wonder what excuses will present day 10 year olds come up with to call 2017 an awesome and underrated year.
Remember when WWE marks tried to say this match was better than Okada/Omega I?
lol yea
It was a great match though, NJPW is better obviously but BMJ and BMAJ are based. I'll just enough both from the comfortable view under the brim of my fedora I guess.
>>3157614
For me it was. But second Okada v Omega match was better. And BoSJ final was better as well. Ishii v Omega at LA was better as well.

Suomi perkele
No eihän nää kusipäät ymmärrä mitää perkele mitä pitäs tehä
So this match will not have a clean finish obviously right?
undercarder will interfere it's been confirmed
Roman will win clean. Cena is a jobber to the stars now.
>>3157573
I just don't think so
>Make Roman the face of the company
>Raw loses 1/3 its viewers
>House show numbers are in the toilet
>WWE can barely turn a profit, even with record high revenue
But hey, at least he worked the smarks, right?
>>3157480
B-b-big dog l-l-l-iving in your h-head rent FREE!!!1!!
None of that is Roman's fault, it's the numales all over the roster. He's the only thing keeping the shipt afloat for now, but even BBD ultimately can't overcome the faggotry.

>He's the only thing keeping the shipt afloat
Hi Joseph
is she a draw?

Based Rip Rogers
I agree with him but literally who is he?
I mean, I agree, but why should anyone care what this literal who has to say?
>>3157456
LITERALLY WHO, LI-LI LITERALLY WHO???
LITERALLY POO, LI-LI LITERALLY POO!!!

I'm 35 so do the math about how old is was because I sure as fuck can't remember, but I don't remember any kids at school who liked bret Hart at all. I'm in the greater Toronto area so maybe it was different out west where men are men and cows are nervous, but they're too busy snorting meth and drinking gas out there to buy merch or donate dimes so they don't count.

Bryan Alvarez here on Wrestling Observer Live!
>>3157418
>It's a solo Alvarez episode
:turns off stream:
>trains people
>runs MMA classes
>famiy
>has at least 10 shows a week
This guy is insane. How is he not stressed out of his mind?
>>3157434
the smooth voice of Meltzer keeps him sane
Nia Jax is officially /ourgirl/
based but he's also right
>>3157411

"Nia Jax is officially /ourguy/" is what I think you wanted to say,
Braun>Bray>=Luke>Rowan
>anybody over HarpGOAT
>>3157355
>harper is so based he doesn't show up on tv anymore
kek
>>3157384
legit question is there actually any reason harper is never on tv? i kinda miss him
I'll start. I really like Chase Owens and think he's a good addition to the Bullet Club. He has decent charisma, is a solid (if unspectacular) wrestler, and his finisher is pretty based.
>>3157347
Is this that Undisputed Era geek?
Another would be WWF Dino Bravo when he was gassed the fuck up. I doubt most of the board even really knows of him, but I know they wouldn't have liked his matches.
He got shot in the head in his living room by the mafia because of some shit going on with the cigarette smuggling he was involved in.
>>3157351
I don't know what that is, I just know him from New Japan as part of the Bullet Club. He seems to usually be the job guy in multiman tags if they are losing.
Adam Page. Been a big fan of his since I saw his match with Silas Young a few years ago.
>>3157364
>killed by the mafia
Italians are the worst. Literally white niggers.
