Pic related. Taker was 49 ufc cosplayer when he finally lost his streak while Lesnar was a legit fighter, it only made sense he lost. Even less impressive was when Roman Reigns, a guy two decades younger, was able to beat him in the worst shape of his career.

Practicing the match at house shows isn't a perfect equivalent to being able to rehearse it at the Performance Center, but it's still a rough equivalent.
Like, it's not entirely fair to compare Takeovers to main roster PPVs because of the different schedules and levels of travel but that's not exactly an excuse because it just kinda says, hey, maybe these guys shouldn't be on the road as much as they are.
