NJPW product is shit.

Elgin has done more burning hammers in two years than Kobashi did in his entire career. Ishii does ten lariats a match. Okada has to hit his finisher (which used to be over like the RKO) multiple times just to beat midcarders. Omega can't decide if he belongs in a wrestling ring or a circus tent.

Yes. But beware its not consistently good.
If you're really into NJPW or PWG, you'll probably hate it.
If you like 90's style WCW/WWF goofiness, it's a comfy show.
I like it because it's not afraid of goofy campy comedy storylines, doesnt take itself super seriously, and you don't always see the same people every single week like with WWE.

Indeed. His promo vignettes inside his house with the threat of domestic violence looming over everything made him an amazing heel. Lets not forget to mention him shooting on a tv reporter and smacking the shit out of him, which was one of the last true acts of a wrestler upholding kayfabe and making wrestlers look like legitimate badasses.

FACT

The only reason the attitude era was successful was because it appealed to mainstream white trash renecks who were easy to entertain with syfy movie level storylines and tits. Wrestling going mainstream today would be a disaster because it would be an sjw run show copying buzzfeed and people discussing privilege instead of fighting.
