Are these guys even able to live with a Molly? Don't these pufferfish require salinity? Im not sure if they look healthy :(.

It's been so long since I've seen a Walmart with live fish, are they still shit?

I bought a female betta from here. She's doing well on my harem tank.

>harem tank
l-lewd

Yes they will eventually require brackish-marine conditions.
>>
>>2276946
Mollys love brackish water too. Unfortunately, the puffers will eat them eventually.
>>
>>2276987
They get that big?
>>
They'll take bites out of them until they die. Some people have managed to keep them with other fish, but most don't bother.
>>
Pufferfish are probably the one freshwater fish I bought that I regretted the most in the end. Anybody who impulse buys pet fish at WalMart probably isn't ready for the trouble they can bring.

But they don't all require salinity, or a transition to brackish. Some stay freshwater fish. Unfortunately they are all still pufferfish, and pufferfish are assholes.

Yep. You are looking at 50ish gallon tank eventually.

Also guys, what kind of catfish are these? There wasn't a label on the tank.

They get about a foot long and also need brackish water. I think the common name is columbian shark or black fin shark.
