Hey, can someone help me ID this little guy? I want to say great horned owl, but he seems a little small.

It's the best way to narrow down the pool of possible species.

It doesn't really look like a Great Horned Owl, though. Not even as a chick.

Could be an eastern screech owl depending on location and size. If you want any ID's need to give where you're from or took picture makes it a lot easier.
Doesn't look like a great horned owl.
