Found this weird worm/larva/leech in my lily pond while cleaning out oak/maple leaf sludge. It was pretty cold when I found this guy, which may be why it wasn’t wiggling much or anything. It is grayish in color, and roughly an inch and a half long. There appears to be teeth/anchors on that face-like… part, and I have no clue what those dark spots are.
Seriously, what the hell is this thing?
It's a penis

If penises have xenomorph teeth
It looks like a long cat.
It looks sad. You should feel bad for destroying its home.
>>2049564
Honestly though it looks like some kind of caterpillar
>>2049627
are there underwater spiked caterpillars?!?
>>2049623
it was a buncha other less-scary-looking things home first. Fuck this horrifying invader

^This is about the length of the thing
if it was a caterpillar it'd have feet. No feet, only a shitty worm-thing body
Folk seem to think it's some kinda fly larvae
>>2049564
Well, you don't have many choices at this point, you just have to keep it around until it grows enough to figure out what it really is.
You MUST do it,,, for science!

I found another in the pond, made a micro-pond in a big mason jar we'll see what this Nightmare-Mon evolves into
It's a crane fly larva.

You're retarded.

About an inch long?

Craneflies don't eat mosquito larvae, they either eat nectar, or nothing.
>>2052587
No, some species of cranefly larvae eat mosquito larvae.
