Looks like a huntsman or wolf spider to me. Just an idea but you should probably do a little research on the local wildlife so you know what's safe and what to stay the hell away from.

that's a shed exo i think. probably wolf. wherever the previous owner is...she's bigger. and hungrier. and probably living in your boots so when you do the shitposting dance she bites your toes

Could someone ID this one? I found it indoors in the California central valley.

Looks like a brown widow.

No. This is a Triangulate Cobweb Spider (Steatoda triangulosa), totally harmless.
Don't throw around potentially harmful spider ID's if you don't know how to ID spiders.

The legs and pattern are different and there's no hourglass (though the pictures don't show that).

>>2034272
Thanks. Is it feasible to keep her(?) for a bit or should I just let her out? It's been getting kind of cold at night (35-40).
>>
>>2034370
I'd just let her go into an unused part of your home, they don't do very well outside in the colder months.
They're also excellent pest control. The Steatodas in my home always catch some little critter like a silverfish or even other spiders.
