run a small wildlife rehab facility.
6 adult opossums under care currently, 2 female
4am panty raid into girls housing (thanks to a fuck up on my end)
Chaos in the kitchen/ sleeping quarters
Shit and food everywhere
screaming opossums pulling each others hair and biting whatever they can grab
scrambling on hands & knees to separate them all
take 2hrs to clean up, wash the animals, check for new injuries etc.
Now I don't care about any of the work
No qualms about being scratched or bitten.
I'm not even bothered anymore by the gross-out jobs like cleaning raw liver and shit splatters
I'm just trying to get past how many times my forearms got humped to completion during all of that.
I feel dirty

They grew on me. I can't really group them all up because they aren't a breed and pit bulls can vary greatly. But I like the more active and food motivated ones. People tend to see the active pits as dumb and goofy, but the ones I worked with are actually easy to train and, if they aren't too overweight, I can get them into agility pretty easily.

HELP /an/!
I won a hermit crab at a fair. I remember reading some threads that said that they treat them really badly at places like that, and burn their shells to get into the painted ones and shit like that.
I won one to try to get it out of it's misery. I tried to ask the lady about it but she new fuck all except "they eat fruit and dry cereal".
I was given about a 7 by 12 inch container to hold it in, but I know that's probably too small.
His name is Krusty. He is missing a part of one of his legs.
I want him to be happy. Please help.

This is her
Little background, pretty sure she's a jack russel, probably between 2-3 years old, adopted her four months ago, all vaccines, spayed etc
Like an hour ago, I took my dog out to go potty/rub a little before bed time
She wouldn't poop, just peed a little, wouldn't run around, just kept looking down at the bottom of the yard
I checked all around, and didn't see any animals or people
I brought her back in the house, and she won't stop panting and wandering around
She looks at me and wags her tail sometimes, and sometimes she whines a little bit
She keeps sniffing at the door
I got the stupid shirt out that my mom got for her, which she always gets extremely excited for, and that seemed to calm her down for a minute, but she's back at it again
I'm really worried, and it's 10 at night, there's no vet's office open nearby right now
What's her deal, guys?
I'm scared

I doubt there's anything wrong with her. The dog's senses are overall much better than yours and it will get interested in the slightest hint of another animal that you wouldn't even notice.

I have seen two little grubs that look like maggots covered in dark grey fluff in my basement one today and one yesterday and I did get a dehumidifier yesterday. They move up the wall by inching with their head and they look around when they poke their head out of the fluff which I am guessing is from dust bunnies.
Uf anyone has any idea what they are, I would love to know.
