This nonsense is on my 3 new apple trees that I planted this year. I've asked multiple horticulturalists and all they've been able to tell me is that its a fungus and I shouldnt be too worried about it. All the books and pictures ive looked in have things that look similiar but dont quite match up. The trees are young and really dont look good because of this, anyone able to tell me exactly what is going on?
Planted in central wisconsin btw
Its a fungus dont worry too much about it
I don't think it's fungal, it looks skeletonized from an insect.

Contact the county agriculture extension office. That's the only way to get the truth. I could look it up, but I gotta go to work
I enjoyed the last thread so much that I felt we should have a new one.
>if pupper sees any sort of laundry, makes a beeline for it
>pokes around a little bit
>finds a sock and takes off with it
>Every fucking time
>try to shoo him away and he laps around the room to come back and snag a sock on his way around
>turn around and this fucker has found a sock, SOMEWHERE, and is chewing on it
>gives me the most pitiful look like I'm taking his toy away when I try to get the sock back
>walking
>he picks up a huge stick
>prances and acts like he's the most well behaved pupper in the world despite this stick being so big he's half dragging it
>he has a small bear toy that was the 2nd toy we ever got for him
>he treats it better then his other toys
>he won't chew hard on it, just delicate chews
>gets pissed if you remove it from his bed, he has to take it and bring it back to bed
>this is the only soft toy that has survived thus far because of his special treatment of it
>whines to be let out of his kennel at night
>let him out, he jumps up into bed to sleep next to me
>doesn't pee the bed or anything like that, just sleeps until morning
>give dog a bone snack since he's been good
>runs into the other room
>throws snack
>it goes right under the sofa
>comes back and tries to get me to come to the room and retrieve it for him
>get it out
>he eats it normally
He does this so much I think hes aiming for it to go under there
>>2462620
My dog does all of these things. His version of the bear is a puppy toy from ikea though. He holds it close and just nibbles on it.
What are some foods that's cats absolutely shouldn't eat?

Wild animals.
Vegan meat
Anything sweet. Candy, cake, the like
Name a more boring phylum
Protip: You can't
>i see what etc
>>2461952
Chordata is the most boring phylum. It's just animals we see in our everyday life. There's nothing strange or mysterious about them.
>>2462727
>nothing interesting about Tunicata
shit taste confirmed
ITT: I paste a face onto your pet, or otherwise photoshop it. Others are welcome to edit as well.
Would be nice but not required if you can provide a couple photo choices.

My wife rescued a rat, and he needs a name! Dubs decides his name, please nothing stupid or abhorrent. He's a big guy, and he's sweet as can be!

He needs a rat buddy more.
>>2468515
Yes, this is one of the first things she told me. I'll be looking into getting him another male rat to be his bro.
Willard.
Last night I helped my dog deliver nine beautiful mutts into the world. Never had that experience before. Naturally everyone and their brother wants one. Going to be a task finding good homes for all of them, but am totally prepared to take care of those I have a hard time rehoming. Not counting the puppies I have five other dogs (four boys and the mom). We decided to keep two of the pups and it turns out they're both female.
>Could this pose a problem considering their mother is the only female in the house?
We're building a kennel out back so that when the bitches go into heat we have no more accidental pregnancies.
>>2467990
or.. you know... neuter them like a real owner you dumb trailer park trash
>>2467990
>Could this pose a problem
Depends on the temperament of the bitch. Some get violent towards their pups once weaned. Also depends on the pups attitude as well.
>kennel out back
Enjoy more accidental pregnancies. Dogs have no trouble fucking through gaps in fences. Or going over and under the barrier.
Are these the kinds of problems white trash have to deal with?
Something kinda fucked up just happened. I think my neighbors strangled their rooster to death this morning. I heard it crowing, and then it sounded like some really fucked up dying noises outside(in a trailer park) only to see my neighbors to appear to be strangling it to death. Did i just witness animal abuse or are they going to eat it?
>if that goddamn rooster wakes me up one more fucking time I will strangle the shit out of him
I think that's what you witnessed.
>>2467460
It's not illegal as long as they din't torture it.
>>2467468
OP here. It really did sound like either a butcher gone totally wrong or legit torture. Like I said they were fucked up dying noises. Should mentioned it went on for a long time, like a minute straight of it. Not sure if that's a normal thing or not when butchering chickens..
What do you guys think of her from this pic? Her name is Ruby and she was born 6-15

I really like filter feeders like clams, mussels and barnacles and I would like to set up several tanks for marine mussels and barnacles and freshwater clams and mussels. Problem is, I can't figure out a tank system that I can set up that will automatically does greenwater into the display tank without me manually squirting some in from a separate greenwater culture periodically. I'd like a small, continuous flow of greenwater into the main tank at all times, as filter feeders would find in nature. Tips?
Also, this has nothing to do with Zebra Mussels, before people start screaming.
>>2466954
A two liter bottle with lights aimed at the sides. Mounted to and drip feeds into the tank like a DIY brine shrimp feeder.
>>2466968
I guess that might work, but I was thinking more of a recirculating system that feeds the waste-laden main tank waters back into the phytoplankton chamber to nourish them.
>>2466983
>>2466968
Of course there's a way to drip one-way, in other words, but is there a way to set up a sort of algal turf scrubber, except it's phytoplankton instead and it recirculates REALLY, REALLY slowly? Like a drip into the main tank, but also somehow main tank water returning via a drip to the greenwater culture?
My cat sits oddly. What does it mean?

Wrong pig.
>mom tells me she accidentally put dog flea medicine on our cat, but immediately washed it off when she noticed
>couple of hours go by
>about to leave the house to go the store, notice my cat is acting strange
>she keeps bending her ears back when she walks
>tell mom she's acting strange, proceed to go the store
>about an hour later get home, mom has cat in her arms and tells me I need to drive her to the vet
>freak out, cat has clear liquid coming from her mouth, figure she's having a seizure
>cat remains calm most of the way to the vet, only has one real convulsion right as we arrive at the vet, pisses on my mom as she's convulsing
>vet takes her, says she looks better than he hoped, and starts giving her treatment
>leave her at the vet, told to check back tomorrow
Be honest with me /an/, what are the chances she'll make it?

I hope not man, I love this cat so fucking much.

Hoping the best for your kitter, anon
