Obvious scam. Who this fuck names a bird Suzy anyway?

Don't sell them too young. They still need tortoise milk for the first seven months.

Just got a job at PetSmart doing pet care. I'm aware it'll probably be a struggle and not as fun as it seems, but it's better than what I was doing previously at least. And with better pay.
Any advice? Also PetSmart general/stories thread, I guess. Though I don't know if it'll do any good making me paranoid at this point.
>>2305655
I've heard they euthanize hamsters by putting them in a sock and slaming to the wall.
I was a stocker and it was the worst company I've ever worked for. Shitty hours and pay even by retail standards. Though I think that a lot of my problems stemmed from our gm whose mom died three times during the two years I worked there and she eventually got fired for stealing hours.

Leonberger.
do avians hold any major significance to the ecosystem?
>>2307939
nah they're basically decoration. They don't technically eat.
They eat seeds and shit them out, they add plant diversity so we have a bit more oxygen to breathe.
>>2307939
Vultures are apparently important due to disposing of corpses and helping to prevent the spread of diseases.
Anyone know what this little guy is? I'm in Monterrey California, thanks!

Are there any videos out there of these weird things live? It seems like there's only like 3 or so pics of these creatures in the flesh online, yet people shoop them all the time.
>>2307826
They are not so weird underwater.
>>2307830
This.
Deep sea creatures tend to look even more fucked up out of water or near the surface because they're made to withstand extreme water pressures.

What breed is this
>>2307636
Alaskan malamute. Either its a really big one, its a bit fat, image is lying, or its a hecking fluffy boy. Strong independent dogs.
>>2307636
Malamute. You don't want one.
Attached Catfish has been labelled as a red-tailed Catfish but I disagree, the white underside does not go up the flanks as much as would be expected. Also the Dorsal/Adipose fins are different. Not to mention the shape of the head (catfish in the picture has a rounded head, red-tailed have a flat head generally)
The aquarium it was in was only labelled to have Red-Tailed / Ripsaw / Tiger Shovelnose Catfish. Anyone have any suggestions?
>>2307629
Also found that the aquarium may of house Giraffe Catfish, Sorubim Lima and African Aluminium Catfish but the one in the picture does not look like any of the above either
Any kind of Synodontis?
Channel catfish? I see those in petstores time to time.
Hi /an/
I was wondering if any dog owners here regret having a dog.
Okay, it's cute and fun and lovely, I love dogs.
But I cannot picture myself owning one.
All the troubles behind it.
You have to take it for a walk everyday, even with snow or rain. You have to pick up his poop. You have to hide every food you have in your appartement. You have to feed him daily so you cannot be away from your home one night without planning it. It's a problem when you go on vacation (give it to someone or take it with you with all the precautions)... And of course it takes money and time (vet + food + accessories + potentials damages in your home).
How do you deal with all of that?
Did you regret, even only one time that you had a dog?
>same for cat owners, even if it's less trouble I think
>sorry if my english burn your eyes
>>2307426
>You have to take it for a walk everyday, even with snow or rain.
Or just play fetch rigorously.
>You have to pick up his poop.
Only if you're a city fag and don't own land.
>>2307426
>You have to take it for a walk everyday, even with snow or rain
This isn't really a bad thing. Having a dog helped me become more physically active
>You have to pick up his poop
Not really an issue. It takes 1 second
>You have to hide every food you have in your appartement
Not true. Only an untrained dog would steal food
>You have to feed him daily so you cannot be away from your home one night without planning it
This is true but its not hard to ask a friend to drop by and let him out to pee and feed him. Worst case scenario, he has to go without food for a night - he wont die or anything
>It's a problem when you go on vacation (give it to someone or take it with you with all the precautions)
Again, you can leave the dog home and just ask a friend/neighbour/relative to drop by twice a day to feed and walk it if you're really unable to find a place to board him.
Owning a dog is definitely a commitment and you might have to revolve your lifestyle around it, to a certain extent. But ultimately, the companionship and love you get in return makes all of the hard parts worth it.
>>2307436
Thanks for that answer. But, did you ever regretted it? Owning a dog?
I just cannot imagine that some day I will not be tired to take him out, to have him wake up one morning, or just tired of his presence. I don't want to be the awful guy, but that's my thinking. Damn, I have the same feeling about moving with my girlfriend
Is the bullfrog THE animal worlds best dad?

The cassowary raises the chicks even though the mother slept with other men and the chicks may not be his. He's that much of a loving father.

vikings did that too

They aren't called Vikings anymore, just swedes.
Hi /an/
I got given a doggy like pic related as a gift. I've had it for a few hours now
It's 1 month old and pure bred. I got my previous dog when it was 6 months old and he wasn't pure bred and a bigger size (20kgish), The race had a lot of health problems and died at age 6 due to it, left me heart broken.
I don't have a lot of experience with young puppies and small sizes so I'm coming to you for advices.
What should I feed it? I gave it some milk and chicken for now.
How big should the portions be?
Does this race have a lot of health problems? I don't want to experience it again, having to bring it to the vet every month and wondering if this time he will die ;_;
Is it okay to bring it outside right now? There's lot of wind where I live, no snow but the temperature are negatives (-5° on average)
And I noticed earlier the doggy was shivering because it was cold.
Are they smart? I want to teach it some cool tricks.
Do they bark a lot and are they easily scared?
Thanks anons!
>1 month old
Where is the mother? It's not old enough to be away from its mom. Give it back.
Otherwise take it to the vet. They'll give you advice on how to feed it and what supplemental nutrients it needs since your shitty friends took the dog before it was properly developed.
>>2307298
Damn, really?
I can't give it back, they brought it from somewhere really far. I believe it also wasn't the only pupper they gave away. My friend isn't at fault, the owner of the dogs are but it's too late now.
Well I will take it to the vet but tomorrow is Sunday so it's closed and wanted tohave a few advices until then. Thanks anyway anon
>giving a pet as a gift when the owner has no forewarning or chance to prepare for the responsibilities of owning a pet
>giving a one month old dog as a gift that shouldn't even be separated from its mother
i cant even
You're at the park and this guy sniffs your bitch's ass.

I'm sure you know what I mean OP.

shoot it and the its owner.
My dog went to sleep today. We got to spend the morning at the beach. I can't believe there are people who won't endure personal suffering to be there in the last moments of a beloved pet.
It feels like it will never stop hurting.

Just wake him up if you're so lonely, geez
