I live in a condo in the city.

I don't know how to properly care for one.

I don't make enough money that I'd want to keep one right now.

I don't know how empathetic they are or how strong a bond they could form with me would be.

I wouldn't know how to train it and make sure it wasn't misbehaving.

I don't know how long I could leave it alone for.

Try to gently nudge the male to come. Response. Pull very gently on leash. Male FREAKS THE FUCK OUT and just starts rolling around and pissing everywhere. You can see the tiny piss drops flying around in the air. Come on, dude.

Whenever you see a dog on the road do you try to help it if its lost? I saw one, and I thought of it, but I didn't want to get my parents mad for bringing in a random dog off the street.

I saw a dog running around a busy street. I had time so I pulled over. He was friendly, I grabbed him by the collar and started asking around. Belonged to a nigger family who took the dog and when I went to leave they just put the damn thing back outside again.

I have never seen a stray dog. If I ever do, I'd absolutely pick it up and try to find the owner. If I had no luck with that and he was a good boy I think I would just keep him

Discuss anything aquarium related here, including inhabitants, decor and issues.

Google is your friend.
Feel free to ask questions but know that there are a lot of resources out there that could answer your question a lot faster and accurately than /an/.

Make sure to include these things in your post before asking because we can't help you if we don't have the full picture:
-tank size (include dimensions, not just volume)
-parameters (ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, pH, GH, KH)
-any and all inhabitants + how long you've had them

Can I breed neon tetras in a 5 gallon?

Will a small (2-3 inch drop) waterfall be detrimental to shrimp? I'm aware of drip changes and their love of stable water parameters which is why I ask.

If used only as a breeding grounds and a place to raise fry, yes.

Considering moving in with someone has nice furniture, like $X,000 pieces (he works at a furniture store). I have two cats. And they're fucking asshole forest-cats that do wild shit like climb curtains and try to bury their food in the hardwood, behaviors none of my previous cats displayed. I know my cats will wreck his shit. Everything I own is cheap shit because I don't care.

I'm fucked aren't I? Like sure, get scratching posts, deter cat from furniture and toward scratching posts, etc. But that sounds like reduced incidents, not a total lack of incidents. It really only takes one incident of scratching to take a shit on the value of a piece.

Is there something I can do to perfectly preserve the furniture, even if aesthetically unpleasing? Does double-sided tape and citrus really do shit like the internet claims? Those little claw caps seem like a meme too. Anyone managed to train their cat to leave furniture alone completely, or otherwise protect their furniture? I'm willing to do pretty much anything short of declawing.

They sound too old to declaw anyway and you can't really 'train' cats and even if you could it sounds like they're are past the point of re-training them.
The options really are to not move or else give your cats to someone else - that or else kill them.
>>
The claw caps work perfectly fine

What most people don't tell you is that there is no 1 correct way to do it. It's a combination of reinforcing good behavior, and punishing bad. The punishment is where it gets tricky.

Some dogs are much more sensitive and impressionable. These are the dogs that live to please you. A stern talking and depriving them of further attention for a few hours is enough.

Then there's the more independent dogs that don't do things by your schedule. They don't care if they're pleasing you. This covers most work dogs (huskies, pyrs, etc). The are stubborn, willful, and are harder to get a grip on their reigns. These dogs you will probably end up getting physical with. At least, using an e-collar. I recommend getting physical because it asserts yourself as the person in charge so they don't question you later. If you're already at that point, stealthily using an e-collar is the best bet.

And, of course, always reinforce desired behavior with treats or attention and happy voices. Whatever is available to you. Every single time. Their entire life. That is how you get the best results. Use high quality treats (hot dogs or such) in the beginning, then even as little as a "Gooood boy!" and a pat on the head will work great for the next 10 years. Just don't forget to praise.

what do I do if a cat decided to invade my house?

There's this one cat that started showing up every night. He sleeps on my back yard and eats my dog's food.

I decided to see what would happen if I started feeding my dog during the day instead of leaving the bowl full at night. The cat, upon seeing the empty bowl, decided to mew nonstop, begging for food(apparently).

I don't hate the cat(he isn't hostile to me or my dog), but my dog is a bit scared of him and gets uneasy whenever he's around. Also, doubling the amount of dog food consumed is a pain in the ass.

What's a good, non violent way to make a cat fuck off?

>Mom and me move to new house
>find out house has bed bugs
>mom wont tell landlord because she's thinks theyd kick us out
>I'm just a lowly supermarket clerk and don't have the funds to pay for an exterminator myself
Yes, this would be so much easier if my mom wasn't crazy/stupid
So /an/, any advice on getting rid of these little shits, preferably in ways that wont also kill my cats.
Obviously I'm getting silica dust to treat the cracks and crevices where my little furry retards can't stick their faces.
I've heard a fairly easy to get otc dewormer, Ivermacin(sp), can actually make my blood toxic to them in small doses.
There's also steaming but those things are rather pricey and the application seems fairly time consuming and just the greatest way to add a mold problem to my concerns.
