Just a thread about my dog.
This is Walter.
He is a Wolfhound (mother) x Deerhound (father). He is 10 months old this month. He is castrated as of last month :,( but I don't think he minds at all.
Here is a YouTube playlist for your viewing pleasure: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVx5Y6y0ZLE&list=PLVA7kGUjGTXs9YdkJzLDk26x8bQ6Nl2Yq
I will be updating it and they are more recent outings.
Also I'll dump a heap of pics I have of the guy.
Any comments, questions or chat appreciated.
Why are blue crabs so angry all the time?

the blue color signifies their sexual frustration

family Tephritidae probably
>friend feeds his dogs
>scatters dry food all over the floor like he's feeding chickens
>ask why
>if I give them their own owns they try to eat out the same one and start fighting
>If I move the bowls farther away still still gravitate towards only one bowl
Competitive eating habits

That seems immensely unsanitary. Why not get like a trough or something?
>>2480870
Because the trough would still be viewed as one bowl

Hi /an/, /k/ visiting.
I'd like to learn about and hopefully make a terrarium.
My new home office doesn't get much light and while my fish are quite happy I'd like some plants. Apparently a moss terrarium might be an idea.
I'd really enjoy discussing the topic with you guys and would like your advice.
Some questions:
>Is there a good retards guide?
>How little light is too little?
>Can I put small critters in there? [pillbugs?]
>What might you recommend to plant it with?
>The fish guys have this concept of the Iwagumi which is a really nice look for a tank, I'd be curious how that might work in a terrarium.
>>2480686
I think most moss actually does need quite a lof of light, especially if you want it to grow dense and compact. Also a terrarium with proper lighting will look a lot better than something that just gets ambient light.
LEDs have become quite good and affordable these last few years, I'd suggest you take a look at affordable aquarium LED options, which should work just fine for a terrarium as well.
>How little light is too little?
You would be surprised how big the difference between what we think of as "bright" lights and the sun actually is. Full sun is aboout 100k lux, shade is still around 10k. Compare that to the values of typical lamps you can buy.
>Can I put small critters in there?
That is actually almost mandatory. You will need at least springtails to keep it clean, odorless and free of mold. They also reduce your maintenance by about 95%. Everything else (including pillbugs) will require some care on your part and has certain requirements which you will need to keep in mind when setting up the terrarium.
