I don't get why Humans never tried domesticating the Energetic Red Coons.

They don't breed fast enough and produce small litters. This makes domestication hard, you have less genetic material coming in every season to work with and longer gestation periods compared to a dog or a cat.
because humans didn't domesticate animals for companionship, we domesticated them as tools
all domesticated animals have a purpose
now in much of the world their purpose is no longer required, but since we evolved along side them we still enjoy having them around

One can argue that Cats and birds/ornamental fish do not fit the narrative though.
Everything they do, dogs do it better.
This is my cat Oreo...he has laser eyes and likes to turn into a loaf
>loaf
That's a cat slug anon.
Get it right.
This cat seeks the one ring to rule them all.
>>2351431
nice kit.
Why not just get a cat?
>>2351162
Easier to hold and less likely to go everywhere shitting on everything. Instead it'll just shit on the floor.
>>2351162
I swear to god all and every single fat and miserable bitches in creation have these little shits
these rats are like indicators for a shitty and unstable personality
cats are the best desu

Pack of wolves versus a pack of pitbulls. Who wins?
>>2351059
Cage fight or ten canoe canids out in the open with nothing to eat but each other?
>>2351059
That's a Rottweiler. They have a higher bite rate and bite force than a pit
>>2351059
The wolves, not being idiots, run away.
Are ravens and crows really evil?

That was quick.
What does /an think about elephants?
>>2353255
I wish there were a lot more of them and a lot fewer humans.
I tripped near an Asian elephant once and it helped me get back up with it's trunk. It didn't help well since it tried to lift me from under my knees but I appreciated the effort.
>tfw you will never get to cuddle a baby elephant
>tfw card elephants and dwarf elephants are extinct
It fucking hurts, /an/.
>spend time around a cat, breathing gets difficult
>get licked by a dog on the hand, five minutes later the skin reddens and I get little white bumps all over
>try to corral a guinea pig that's attempting to hop off my body while I'm holding it, it bites my forearm and I get the aforementioned white bumps within a six inch diameter of the laughable nibble
Who /allergies/ here
I thought I was allergic to rabbits but it turns out rex rabbit fur is so short, fine and heavenly it just gets in your nose.
Allergic to pretty much everything with fur...Doggos, catbros, rabbits, mice, rats, guinea pigs, birds...
Starting keeping snakes and tarantulas and fish. They are pretty based DESU but I wish I had a mammal pet I could cuddle with.
same here OP so i got a hairless chinese crested. no problems!
ITT : animal breeds you wish werent extinct

Are you that german that enjoys deers?
>>2352344
I hate that faggot.
The most idiotic bait questions over and over again on /pol/.
Deer are still cute though.
>>2352349
I think deer are neat. I bet that faggot wouldn't even marry one for real.
I like this frog, especially the eyes.
>>2352280
I loved frogs too much as a child. I collected statues and read all about them. I still worry about all the frogs in the world on some level.
Those eyes are amazing, that's not a shoop is it?
>>2352323
It is not, the white shapes are actually their iris.
I found this bird on the ground and have no idea what type of bird this is.
so what type of bird is this?
Are you in michigan?
>>2352267
yes
Welp, he's finally gone.
The asshole male Mockin' bird, that I've been feeding, and that's lived in my back yard for the past few years, finally lost his battle with avian pox today. Found him dead underneath the window sill right below his food bowl. He put up a valiant fight, I suppose, and chased off anyone that dared enter his territory up until the day he died.
He's now laid to rest under a little rock cairn at the base of one of his favorite bushes, so even in death, he can still monitor his back yard. I saw another Mocker' moving in today, and it might be one of his youngins, as he's had quite a few over the years. Guess he'll be getting all those grapes and raisins from now on instead.
RIP little birb.
