ITT, we are pets who ask questions about our humans.
Feel free to post:
>pictures of yourself
>concerns for your humans health
>what you can do to be a better pet
>etc
I'll start.
So I've tried to get my human's attention constantly to take me for longer walks everyday. A half hour twice a day just isn't enough for me. How can I convince her to do more otherwise?
I've already tried:
>pawing at her face while she's sleeping
>whining until she looks at me and then standing by the door
>biting at her arm while she's busy
Any suggestions?
Also, any tips on how to get more human food? Getting tired of that Acana stuff.
Pic related, it's me. :3c
Back when I was but a babe.
I miss mom. But my human says that we'll visit her soon. We just gotta make plans!

Have you tried barking?

Why would you feed your dog some crazy no nae dog food.
My dog used to only eat kibbles and bits, but I decided he needed a more upscale food and switched him over to Pedigree.
Sure it costs more, but he is a blonde breed like the dog on the bag so I think its good food for him.
Found this sparrow who's unable to fly and seems to have a broken leg, probably hit by a car since he was by the road when I found him.
I know you guys are against stupid retards pretending they're doctors and taking care of hurt animals they find by what should I do?
I have already called my local wildlife care organization and left them a message. However the voice machine mentioned that they will not be able to take care of any song birds.
Please don't tell me sparrows are considered song birds.
Currently have him in a pot with a paper on top to keep it dark for him, what do in case the wildlife people can't take him in? I don't have any proper knowledge on animal care, especially sick animal care.

Upon further inspection it looks like his wings are fine, he's able to use them and can fly- but his leg is rekt.
How badly does the leg seem hurt? Is the bird unable to stand on the leg? Does it keep trying to get up, or is it just lethargically laying down?
You've done right by trying to take it to the professionals. However, if they say that they're not taking songbirds, I'm sorry to say but you're on your own; sparrows are songbirds. And if you happen to be living in America, sparrows are an invasive species there, which means that your local wildlife organizations have even less incentive to help them.
Sometimes birds can hit a window or some other object and end up physically unharmed, but they're temporarily so dazed they can't fly for a moment. In such cases it's best to leave the bird alone in a safe, comfortable place and see if they'll recover with time. Judging by your later post, that's what happened to this bird. As for the leg or any possible internal damage, I'm sorry but I don't have personal experience with fixing things like that. It's possible to make a splint for a bird with an injured leg, but I'm not sure how easy would it be to successfully heal a bird that way. Also, if the bird's condition continues to be bad enough and if it needs to be kept around people and fed until it's doing better, that's going to be a tough task too.
If wildlife organizations can't help you, taking the bird to a vet is probably the best option if you want the bird to survive.
But if the bird ends up dying, don't feel too bad about it. Small injured wild birds can be challenging to keep alive.
Do any of those Dog DNA services work? It seems like one of those things that no one has the capability of doing and is just a scam.
Trying to figure out what my pup probably consists of besides terrier.
they'll give results. whether they're accurate or not, god only knows. a vet guessing will probably be more accurate.
what difference does it make what's in your mutt? just pick a couple of cool breeds and tell people that's what your mutt is.
>>2473383
Nope. I tried them with three different samples. For breed specifics (what breed does the dog most closely resemble, weight, height) I put random shit. For my purebred GSD (whom I have an 4 generation akc certificate for) is actually a lab/rottweiler mix. My sheltie is actually a border collie/labrador mix. My shepherd mix is actually a husky/shepherd mix. When I called them to complain they hung up on me the first two times and on the third time they refunded me my money (was actually a gift from my aunt but don't let them know).

>what difference does it make
My understanding was that it would be nice to know any specific ailments that could be associated with a particular breed.
>>2473605
That's about what I was expecting. Thanks.
Is it true that when a dog search an eye contact is because it absolutely trust you?
or it wants to eat your leg

If it want to eat my leg it does wof wof

Spiders. Bro tier pest exterminators.

Totally. They could be astronauts. Mice have gone up in the late 50's but no rats.

Are Silverfish good feeders for brown widows? Also how do you keep and breed silverfish for food? And finally what's the best way to catch them?

Help me /an/ons.
I have a cat and dog already, but I'm looking to get a caged bird or reptile as well since I've never had one. On one hand, I can have a birb bro sing and act like an idiot, and on the other I can have a reptile bro chill with me 24/7.
Sell me on either one. Pros, cons, breed, etc. The only exception is that I can't get anything large (only 2.5ft of space).
>Bird or Reptile
Doesn't really make a difference.
Not sure about choosing between the two, but if you want a caged bird, you definitely shouldn't get a cockatiel, or any kind of parrot. They're highly social animals and need to get out of their cages frequently. If you want something pretty to be in a cage, get something like a canary, a finch, or a sparrow.
My wife picked out a new kitty at the shelter two weeks ago, but he's got... Problems. He's got a persistent cold, and he's not grooming himself. He's got a tooth abscess and we've seen him eat an eighth of a portion of wet food in the past two weeks. This fully grown, rather large adult cat weighs just under 5 pounds. The vet gave us antibiotics and a nutrient jelly that provides the bare minimum for his survival, but he spits as much of it as possible back out when we administer it. He also won't drink, and his weekly vet visits have invariably included IV fluids. He has only declined since we got him, and my wife is VERY attached to him already. How do we get him to eat?
We've tried...
Wet food
Dry food with gravy
Ham
Cheese
Milk
Tuna
Wet food with gravy (ate half a portion four days ago, but none since)
Pic related, is cat
>>2472972
Kitten formula maybe? Or soft cat treats.
He is in pain. A side effect of antibiotics are also nausea, vomitting and problems pissing and shitting.
At that weight, he still needs IV fluids and most likely needs to be force fed through a tube. He will collapse very soon. Maybe in a few days, maybe in a few hours. I'm surprised a vet would even let you go home with a not even four pound, adult male cat.
>>2472983
He's had diarrhea for a while, and just today he shit himself sitting next to me on the couch. I'm going to insist on an emergency visit tomorrow, and try the kitten milk with a syringe tonight.
[provided it had human thinking ability]
damn this guy jerks off a lot

Where does my human go all day when he's not with me?
Where does my human get all the weird and magical things that are in our house, and all the food?
What does it mean when the humans make their weird noises while looking at each other?
What breed comes to mind when you think of 'dog'?

Goldens and labs.
Which is weird because aside from cartoons and movies I can't recall seeing many of them irl. Tons of yellow labs though.

If you had to choose between being a really sexy leopard or a rich Saudis pet lion which would you choose?
>>2472609
1. Too much paperwork, can't spend enough time really helping animals
2. No, I just help shelters and caring people
3. Red
4. Green
5. a really sexy leopard
My dog ate my shoe, what do

>Bring their dog
>Happens to be the father of my doggo
>Both are longbois
>No issues for the entire weekend
>Take a shower tonight

>Smell of dog and what I assume is dog cum coming from my bed
>Sheets, comforter, pillows
>All except for one is covered in it
Why the fuck did this shit happen?
What happened, exactly?

How come people are so quick to write off animals actions as instinct but never consider human behavior as animal instinct?
>>2472365
Humans are in denial and have to constantly attempt to reassure themselves that they are not like the other animals in any way.
furries?
It's a gradient.
