What you found is a whore. A lascivious, debauched whore. A harlot, if you will. A tart, or a tawdry hussy, if you prefer.

Traditionally, you would take said slut and punish her for her licentious ways by gathering the men of the village and performing ant bukkake to remind her what a pervert she is for promotign such wanton lust among we decent men folk.

kinda' frustrating how the mantis looks like it's built to fight but it's actually a low-tier fighter in the insect kingdom
14 posts and 4 images submitted.
>>
But it doesn't look like it was built to fight at all. Literally any ambush predator that manages to sneak up on it will almost always win due to its body shape alone. The mantis looks more like its designed for sneak attacks, which it is.

They're very pretty, but they don't act like dogs at all. They only allow themselves to be pet when they feel like it and are often aloof and distant, even to their owners. They act like you should thank them for allowing you to exist in their presence. Definitely not the friendliest breed, and this is coming from someone who owns chows.

hello! looking for cat advice. Brought this cutie in from the street about 8 months ago. she's about a year old I think? anyway, this cat has the strangest fixation on her litter boxes. If you so much as clean them, add a bit more litter to them, ANYTHING, she goes ape shit. She gets herself so stressed that she starts having blood in her urine for a week afterwards. We've already taken her to the vet multiple times for this, worried that it was something even more serious than just a stress issue. No infections, no crystals. Whenever she starts having these episodes we quarantine her in the spare bathroom with all her necessities so she doesn't pee on any of our furniture or carpet when we're not home. So I'm really at the end of my rope. I don't want to put her down, but I'm not sure if kitty prozac is the way to go. I'm using feliway diffusers in the house right now, but I'm wondering if there is anything else I can do?

I'm not an expert on litter training, just an idea, so someone please correct me if this isn't feasible- but could you just train her to come outside to go like a dog? That way she could have a designated outdoor spot to go that people don't need to fuck with, and maybe a backup box inside in case she really has to go when you're not around. I'm not suggesting keeping her as an outdoor cat, just giving her scheduled potty breaks in a different environment. But if that's not how cat behavior is supposed to work then forget I suggested it.
>>
>>2372295
Eh, I'm not sure how well that would work. Some cats are very trainable, but this one...isn't. We have a hard time getting her to even come when she's called, haha.

Do you have these things in your neighborhood? They have a high risk of carrying fleas, ticks, and other parasites, and having them around increases your risk too. They lack basic human social understanding, like the fact that barking all godam night is no longer appropriate behavior in a city setting.

Like the fact that barking at the neighbors every day will piss them off. Like, if there's going to be barking, atleast there should be some learning as to who the neighbors are so you can tell them from dangerous brigands with guns who need to be run off.

Atleast there should be some kind of an apology when the neighbors get scared out of their minds by a loud toothy creature ambushing them and running into someone else's yard, or out into the street as someone walks by.

They're prone to smelling funny like they've been bathing in canine musk for weeks without washing it off, because indeed they have been.

It's entirely their fault. Humans are expected to know when we're creating a noxious atmosphere in their neighborhood.

I am, of course, not talking about dogs. They can't help what they are. They would've been happy as wolves out in the wilderness.

I'm talking about dog owners.

Thanks for your biased and prejudiced opinions OP, luckily for the rest of society we may be smart enough to see through your one sided post and know that not everything you say is true of all dog owners, and not take anything you say as fact as well.
But hey if your little rant makes you feel better than who am I to interfere, I'll just consider the source and move on. Enjoy.

Are dogs nails like cats nails in that you have to be very careful about trimming them since there's a nub in the middle of it with a ton of nerve endings?

I got a baby alligator. How long can I keep him in my tub before he outgrows it?
28 posts and 6 images submitted.
>>
>>2371420
that is far far far from a baby. a baby could fit in your hand. he has already outgrown the tub. if you have to duct tape the mouth shut then it is already too big
>>
>>2371420
You would need to have an enclosure the size of a backyard with a pool converted into a pond, granted you are not keeping the alligator illegally. If you cannot accommodate, you must release for the animal's sake.

Release it you idiot. Or barbecue it. Both better options than what you're doing now.

ANTS

Is it wrong to kill them when they're infesting the apartment? I'm trying out borax+sugar solution for these god damn ants. Soon within few days, they will die and their nests will be clogged with dead shits.

Should I be feeling bad for killing them when what they're doing is only mildly annoying me?

I do not kill any insects other than ants. They are the worst, please continue killing them.
>>
>>2371397

I have a similar policy. As long as they aren't taking over the place. I dont leave food around. I only kill houseflies because they cant be caught and breed fast enough to over run me. If it can be caught and put out and isnt already at plague numbers, I just put them in a jar and put them out later.

Lately, something weird's been going on.

I had a platoon of little ants doing patrols from my kitchen to bathroom. There werent many so I left them alone.

One day I look and its like ant Jonetown. Little dead ants all over in the bathroom and I have no idea why. All I can figure is maybe they were nipping at water in the shower after I used cleanser on it. I felt bad.

A day or so later a bunch show up and appear to be carrying off their dead. Moreover, I though ants were diurnal. I went to use the bathroom the other night and they were doing their funeral procession in the middle of the night.

Idk wtf these ants are up to but its sort of creepy. Its like the ants of NIMH or something.

>>2371397
if you use vinegar as a cleaning solution on your floors it will get rid of the ants scent trails and they will be hopelessly lost in your house.
The acidity of vinegar breaks the trails down.

the sugar+borox solution will kill them, but wont stop them from coming in your apartment.
infact it will encourage them becaue they see it as food and will leave a trail leading other ants to the food.

Ants have two stomachs one acts as pocket that they then bring to the nest and feed the other ants and the brood, Borox kills them too quickly and the poison doesn't spread throughout the whole nest.
