Phidippus audax

Lots of these around lately and they're huge. I saved one from smashing earlier when I went into a store and carried him out away from his attacker.

they're beautiful. And pretty common.
I love the green on them.

Does your cat sleep on your bed with you?
If so, does it ever meow at you when you get out of bed?
My cat has slept on my bed many times, but it just started a couple weeks ago it'll meow at me if I start getting out of bed as if she didn't want me to.
I'm heartbroken when it happens because I know she's attached to me, but it usually happens when in need to get ready for work, otherwise I would lay back down and pet her.
>my cat meows at me
>pls help
/an/ in a nutshell
>>2402462
>my cat meows at the window so I have to let it outside :((((
>my cat meows when it's hungry so I just leave it food out constantly
>my cat meows when I get out of bed and I feel bad to have to do that to him :((((((
Why are people such fucking pushovers when it comes to cats? God it drives me up a wall

My thoughts exactly. Probably 15 threads about cats meowing in a week.
What's the best way to get rid of house flies?
Not the small fruit ones, but the larger variety that you see around your house especially in the summer months?
>>2402420
why did I read this like he was cutting a promo?
Ya see Roman, the fact of the matter is I'm an A player and you're a B player. You're a house fly compared to me, The Game. Now, what's the best way to get rid of house flies?
like drain flies? pour hot water down all the drains regularly and clean your tubs out with baking soda
Last month i had to put my first cat down due to him having FIP.
A few weeks ago i adopted a new cat and long story short, compared to my first, this one's a bit of a cunt. She's about the same age as my first, round 2 months old, how can i get her to not be such a cunt?
Pic somewhat related, my first cat - my lil nigga Spooky
>>2402247
It takes time for cats to adjust you impatient cunt. Get a box, put a blanket in it, and put it in a closet so it has a safe place to reduce anxiety. Start giving it treats by shaking the bag and getting it to come, also calling its name at the same time so it learns that. Play with her every day and when she's more comfortable with you try picking her up and setting her on your lap so she gets accustomed to it.
Also be attentive to the cat's body language. Ears pointed back and tail flicking means stay the fuck away. Let her smell your finger every time before petting her to reduce anxiety.
Good luck, it'll come around eventually.

Oh and sorry about you losing your first cat... but you're still an impatient cunt.
It took a while for my two kittens to like me; like months. And the one is an adult now and still isn't particularly friendly toward me and seems to just tolerate me.
Always wanted a Maine Coon. Has anyone got one and what can are things to be aware of?
My main coon is your mom's coon.
But seriously theres lots of great sources online, just go to a site that specializes in cat breeds
I don't have a Maine Coon but I am reasonably confident my two cats (sisters) have a good amount of Maine Coon genetics. They seem to be offspring of ferals and were found in an abandoned farmhouse. One of them looks just like a Maine Coon, the other one is kind of fluffy but definitely looks more like it's only half Maine coon.
I don't like that they don't care to sit on one's lap because they will beg for attention but I will have to reach down to pet them. They are cunts with their claws and dig their claws into things gratuitously (like when they paw me for attention). They're not very social and highly averse to strangers.
They're very attractive cats but my petite little tabby was easier to deal with. I could pick her up at will, put her on my shoulder, she would basically walk up to strangers and would accept being pet by just about anyone.

Maine coons are the nicest cats i know. They never bite or something. You can do everything with them.
Watch out for a good breeder!!! My three maine coons died all at the age of 8-10 because of kidney problems.
And you have to take care of the fur. Its everywhere btw
Green cheek conure, indian ringneck or parrolets, /an/? I can't decide. Out of the above three, which is the most 'playful'?
Have had budgies and cockatiels, baby sat an umbrella cockatoo, amazon, sun conure and multiple macaw species. Plan on getting a caique in the future as well.

The correct answer is always cockatiels
I'm wondering how long terrestrial snails are supposed to sleep, and when I should be worried.
I recently caught a couple of snails - two grove snails and one Roman snail - and I keep them in a smallish plastic pet carrier. Before that I kept them in a jar for a couple of days. As substrate I use garden soil and I feed them mostly cucumber and salad.
Most of the time they sit under the cover of their carrier and they aren't very lively recently. Just today they seem to have slept all day, and yesterday they only came out to eat and move around a bit when I woke them myself. Is this normal? The room I keep them in is reasonably well lit, so they shouldn't think it's night time all the time. It's also wet enough, since I used to spray them with water, and yesterday put in a water saucer into their carrier.
>>2402047
This is normal, their sleep cycle isn't a 24hr one like ours. Instead of 8-16, it's closer to 15-30 and that doesn't include seasonal hibernation or aestivation.
>>2402915
That's reassuring I guess, but still it looks like I sometimes have to "remind" them to eat. Like they'll sleep but if I wake and put them near food, they'll eat anyway.
What's also a bit troubling is that the vast majority of time my snails just sit around on their asses doing nothing. I don't think they're sleeping all the time either since they're neither inside their shells nor burrowing in dirt.
Whenever I observed snails in the wild they were either holed up in their shells or moving or eating if they were outside. Or is it normal that they also sleep outside their shells or otherwise goof off?
Hey /an/ i bet you can't name this animal

Eat it, go to the hospital and report in a week.
What about these.??
Not really sure where to put this because I don't think it'd go into the invert general or the plant page.
But I have this vermicompost system, and well this morning when I went to feed it I found a dead worm. Which would be pretty normal except it had a tumour, I don't know what could've caused it so does anyone here know what the fuck killed this worm?
Looks like a brown recluse bite

are these actual wolfdogs?
would it be a good idea to get one?

Never get a wolfdog unless you absolutely know what you are doing.

This

Likely not.
Terrible idea to get anything that's more than 1/8th wolf. Very different from dogs, loads of issues.
