What this fucker, not a tick is?
Is in illunois america

Jesus fucking Christ. How did you even get past the CAPTCHA?
What the fuck is a subspecies?
Is there an actual animal known as the 'Asian elephant' and nothing else? Or is the Asian elephant just a container for the Indian elephant, Sri Lankan elephant, Sumatran elephant, etc?
A subspecies is something that is usually still able to breed with the type species, but is in the process of diverging into its own species. This often occurs with regional borders and bottlenecks creating isolated breeding populations, and each gene pool will start to take on traits different from eachother (divergence).
>>2413834
So would an Asian elephant be able to breed with an African elephant, or only other elephants within the Asian elephant species?
>>2413839
Nvm, I think I understand. This shit is confusing. The African bush elephant and the African forest elephant are different species. No living subspecies exist. The Asian elephant is a species, with 3 - 4 subspecies. This shit is confusing.
Are there any known health risks associated with smoking dead spiders?

wtf anon

>Are there any known health risks associated with smoking dead spiders?
yes
>>2413617
I dropped a nug on the floor and picked up what I thought was the nug but it turned out to be a dead, curled up spider. This isn't the first time this has happened. My basement has tons of spiders. I accidentally smoked a spider once before. I mean, what if it's poisonous? I tried googling but "smoking dead spiders" doesn't bring back any results relevant to my queries.

Hi fun fact:
Eagles sound like pussies in real life, so the sound of a redtailed hawk is overdubbed.
The sound of America is a hawk

If one can with certainty use a scientific proven test to show animals meet a high level of intelligence and / or empathy, do feel that they deserve, if not rights, then at least legal protection?
We have a literal dogshit thread active right now and it's no longer the dumbest fucking thread on the board thanks to you.

If lower humans don't, then animals certainly don't either.
i may sound stupid, but i have a question:how can a gorilla has iq over 60? i see some people say that gorillas can have 80 iq...But gorillas cant talk.Retarded people can talk and they have iq under 70 iq,or higher.
Doesn't it have to do something with the vocal cords?
That only humans have developed theirs on a way that they can speak.
That's why some apes can still learn sign language, but not speak.
>>2414269
This, gorillas are intelligent enough to communicate but physically incapable of speech.

I'm a quarter of a way through reading "chaser" the smartest dog in the world capable of remembering 1000 names of her toys and finding a new toy by recognizing she has not seen it before, also she's capable of understanding whole sentances, that's one fucking smart dog man, can't wait untill the evolve vocal cords it's going to be a wild ride but the 2672 dog revolution MUST happen.
Sitting in my port today and see this boy on the car.
Anybody know what the duck this thing is?
It look's cool.
It has wings and is slow and relaxed. His legs and antennae are a reddish orange color.
It's a wheelbug
They eat pests so don't kill it.
It's a wheelbug, it's a good bug that eats other nasties like stink bugs. (Wheel bugs are one of the only predators of stink bugs) It is a type of assassin bug and has a weird probiscius mouth. Don't mess with them because they can bite and hurt you but they don't unless you provoke them. They are too busy looking for things to assassinate and eat.

Why do I keep finding advertisements from animal shelters offering $25/hr positions every once in a while? Does scraping poop out of shitbull cages really pay that much?
>>2413959
25$/hour is what you pay to have the privilege of helping, not the opposite.
>>2413962
For real?
its because working in a shelter is so fukin stressful from having to deal with shitty adopters, shitty people surrendering animals, and shitty gossip that some staff will quit after a few months. The place i work at is literally understaffed with 2 staff members for the whole shelter when we get 200+ people comimg asking to poke and prod the animals

That's right! Fucking glow asses! I used to love these things I really did! But lately these little pricks have been coming into my room constantly. I can't go two seconds without having to deal with one. I read these things aren't attracted to light, so why is it their fucking life's mission to get into my room?? I've tried looking it up, couldn't find anyone with a similar problem! Pic related, all killed within like the same fucking hour
At first I thought maybe they were coming in through the air conditioner so I taped it to the nines. Seemed to work for about a day and then they came back. I'm completely out of ideas. It's all taped, I've looked for ways theyre getting in and couldn't find one really. I guess I just gotta try reinforcing it with more fucking tape. I still don't get why they want in here. I could have sworn they didn't like light. Also, you can see a filter thing I put on there to act as a net, in case that was the location they came in from
But, maybe I'm a fucking moron and they're getting in through the vent things below that. I don't know, all I know is I wanna get some good damn sleep without lifting the blanket and seeing a glowing green light. Any ideas of what's in my room they want so bad??
>>2413911
I haven't a solution
Just wanted to say kudos on the tape job

Should I be wary of a breeder on AKC Marketplace that is selling labrador puppies for sub $800?
>>2413728
Post pedigree inc health certs and titles or link to litter.
>>2413728
can you post breeder website?
I wouldn't exactly call it a red flag, considering Labradors aren't exactly uncommon. You should be able to gauge for yourself how legitimate they are based on their website. Would be a good idea to visit them beforehand, see the litter and where they stay, meet the parents, etc.
800 - 1200 is about what you should expect to pay, how "sub" are we talking?
