What kind of mushroom is this
I'll identify that mushroom if you'll identify these birds.
>saw almost all the birds in my immediate vicinity
>want to see more new ones
>have to start driving hours away to do this
>hate driving long distances
Is that it, are my bird watching days already over? I've only been doing it a year.
La pata come pollo

That's garbage and probably not going to help you much
Need help identifying this Lilly .
Couldn't find anything on this one. It only has 1 flower per plant,
Flower is pretty big for the plants size, smells really nice.
>>2411667
Stem is thin compared to other lilies, leaves are delicate, the plant normally lies on the ground, holding the flower a bit above ground.
No one knows anything? Thought it might be a variation of lilium Regale

Alright I keep hearing people bicker about what animal groups are right and which ones are wrong or evil, whatever. I'm getting getting confused here what makes the The Humane Society, The Albino Special Protection Critter Association, the Neutered Retarded Animals club thing, or the uhh Persons for the Euthanasia of Traumatized Animals or whatever. I cant keep up with what all these fucking groups stand for. But whatever, which animalistic group there am I supposed to support?
Go to your local animal shelter or local zoo. Volunteer there. See if they're legit by your standards. Then just support them.

The ASPCA and the Humane Society still deserve your support/sheckles. They're still mostly run by people who care about animals like we do.
NRA and PETA are just political groups, and really don't have relevance if your goal is simply helping animals

Here you go, sorted by ranking
What the FUCK are these tiny bugs? As of late, i've been finding these faggots all over my house and I have a feeling it's a pest species.
I live in virginia if that helps
That's a springtail. Gross disgusting creatures. They can jump like 3 ft. They're harmless unless you eat them (someone in Canada died a few years ago because they ingested one on a strawberry).
But yeah, they're a pest and reproduce faster than indians. They'll eat anything and I believe can even cause damage to paint.

the fuck are you talking about

Are they toxic?
Hello /an/,
Looking to identify this tree. I saw it along the trail today and I thought it looked interesting, particularly the "berries" that cover it. Anyone have any idea what it is? I tried google and the only thing I could come up with is flowering dogwood but it really doesn't look like that. I took one of the berries off, peeled the skin (which smelled something like an apple) which had a large seed hidden in it. The skin of the berry was very thin.
My main questions here are:
>wut is it
>are the berries edible?
another picture of the berries
Looks like unripe cherry. Not the eating kind of cherry, either. The ones with almost no flesh that have good flowers in spring, sure, but mostly serve as food for birds.
Is my toad fat? I feed him a fly every two days or so

Are ants the smartest beings in existence?
>>2410971
TFW too intelligent to survive magnifying glass attack
>>2410971
Humans invented farming only 15000 years ago and we've already put a man on the Moon.
Get your shit together, ants.
>>2410971
they aren't technically the smartest
they're just the most socially advanced and work together almost as a hivemind, which humans do not do
How fast can black widow spiders go?
I've always seen videos of them being relatively docile. They seem really slow and peaceful compared to the spiders I've seen irl.
Are they actually slow
>>2410969
They are about as fast as any spider with the same body type. They are not fast like a jumping spider or a wold spider for that reason. They move quicker on a web, but there's rarely a web that's got some clear distance on it for that to matter to humans.
What is this insect? Why do I see it for the first time in my life, in my bedroom while studying economics. Killed it using my biology book hehe.
It seems to fly like a wasp and has a similar body.
