Anyone here have any experience with Beaucerons? Owned one, pet-sat one, met one at the vet, anything?

How would you describe the dog's temperament?

Was training easy, difficult, or average?

What was its aggression level like, towards strange and familiar dogs, towards other animals, and towards unfamiliar people? Was it well-socialized?

How many hours of exercise is needed a day?

Did you notice any general temperamental differences between males and females?

Pretty much just tell me everything you can. I'd also appreciate it if you could specify the dog's sex, age, whether or not it's been altered, and if it's from a show or working line.

Thanks.

Sort of. I figured I ought to start a thread specifically about this, since it's a rare breed outside of France.

I met one and I think Beauceron is pretty cool guy eh licks his own balls and doesn't afraid of anything.

Are there any general temperament differences between male and female dogs?

Is one generally more trainable than another? More affectionate? More protective? Anything like that?

I've always heard females(assuming unspayed ones) are typically less tolerant of other females and some breeds like akitas don't do well with same sex dogs but I've only ever had females with none of those problems. May depend more on the breed.

The shitty male dogs I've been around are neurotic aggressive humping faggots but the good ones didn't act any different from a good female in my experience. I'd say a lot of behavior between them depends on training and whether or not they are altered.

For the most part it boils down to whether or not you want to look at doggy dick all the time

Some people are comfortable with it, some aren't

Why?
>>

Because it's aloe and people think it magically heals wounds and burns, when it really just clogs pores and limits air exposure.

Probably the second worst plant on earth.

It's a fledgling, looks like a robin. It's still learning how to fly, so it seems helpless, but is still being protected and fed by its parents. Please put it back where you found it.

Eh I don't know where they got it from
And it's pretty late I can let him go right now or just keep him in a cage for tonight

Does this sound like rabies to you? Seems like the onset is kind of fast but rabies but not sure what to expect the vet to say.

Bf's cat came in tonight with mouth hanging open, tongue sticking out a bit, blood tinged drool around mouth and chest, putting idly. He tries to paw at his mouth sometimes. It sounds like hes actually clawing his mouth.

Acts like he's hungry but won't eat the food in his bowl. Haven't seen him try to drink so I'm not sure if he can swallow. He was eating and drinking normally as late as this morning.

Yes, he's on his way to the emergency vet now.

Yes, I know this is what happens with outdoor cats. I'm not acting surprised or anything so no preaching please. It's a cat that was feral as an adult for years and has no idea how to cope with being in a house 24/7.

Anyway, regardless of whether your cat is indoor or outdoor, it should be rabies vaccinated. $30/year to protect your animal isn't asking much.

Its freshly molted w/e it is. So imagine its slightly darker and with much larger, brown wings.
I dunno what it is but it would look like any old' cricket people buy as livefood.

Hey guys i'm from a third world Country and i guess it's fair to say that the pet business here is really negligent towards animals.

With that out of the way, my father loves birds so my sister and i decided to gift him a couple of Cockatiels, we managed to come across a cute couple from a very...suspicious place to say the least they looked scared and uncomfortable so we decided to take them home.

Now the problem is i have no idea if the cage dimensions ore materials are proper to them, they look very scared, the shop owner took them out of their cage in the shop in a very brutish way and i'm afraid they've most likely experienced this kind of treatment before. To make matters worse one of them is making a noise as if it was having trouble to breathe.

I've been doing some research on their diet and enjoyment and i'm willing to spend as much money as necessary to get them imported toys or anything so i was just wondering if you guys could give me any advice.

Here is a picture of the current set up we have for them and i'm more than sure that it's not good at all, i think i'll have to look out for another cage or order one online.

Do they seem scared when you are near the cage? First couple of days leave them alone and let them observe their surroundings and you doing everyday things. You can sit and watch them, talk to them, get them used to you being around. After a few days of adjustment, you can offer some treats. Don't move too quick, don't force them to do somethin they aren't comfortable with.
There's this one type of seed cocketiels really love, can't remember... they come on a stem. Maybe someone else will remember.

As for the set up, looks pretty decent. You can upgrade later if you feel like it. The water "dish" you have though, I never had good luck with getting birds to drink out of em. You can add another dish, like the food dish, bUT fill it with water if you'd like. That's just my preference and what ive observed though.

anon was looking for the word millet

birds love the shit out of millet
>>
The setup looks fine, bigger is always better, but what you have will work for two birds.

You can add some more toys once they've settled down. They like to nibble wood things.and sit on rope perches
