Friendly reminder that you're a basement dwelling NEET and thus the onlly moths you know are small brown ones that are attracted to your stench.

Do dogs really dislike being pat on the head?

depends on the retard

Most dogs seem to just tolerate it, IME.
The ones I've loved with have greatly preferred being scratched between the eyebrows.

It depends of the dog lol

Is the life cycle of a frog a fair if rough representation of aquatic life evolving lungs to breathe air on land?
I'm looking for more living examples to help teach grown adults about evolution, like air-breathing fishes.

yeah, but that line of reasoning is a gateway to embryology

You will never convince him because he's convinced he already knows the truth. Move on with your life, for your own good and for his.

Hey /an/. /b/fag here. I need help identifying what's wrong with my dogs eye. I went to take Lucy to the vet a few days ago because she had eaten plants outsode. They said she was fine, but she just kept itching at the vets face and they said nothing was wrong but the mucus around her eye needed cleaning. I was cleaning it right after and it came back fast after a day. Just this morning, I woke up and I saw that her eye is sealed, and upon closer look, it looks like pus is coming out. What is it? I'll take her to the pet hospital first thing in the morning, but is there anything I can do? Her other eye is doing the same thing, getting swollen, and wants to seal as well.
What do I do? I don't want to put her down, that's the nuclear option for me and I don't want to do it.

Take to a vet that isn't shit.

My sister has the same doge type. Apparently they commonly have eye problems. Hers spontaneously lost sight. Totally blind now, but otherwise healthy, been blind doge for I think two years now? Maybe three?

Problem is he did not exhibit symptoms like yours. His eyes literally just rapidly lost function. No pus or infection. Those are very serious signs.

Doubt you can do anything until morning. Just hold on tight until then.
>>
Idk what's wrong exactly but I'd give her antibiotics and make sure to clean the eye regularly.

I live on like 3 acres of land, there's lots of wild rabbits that try to get into my garden and fuck with whatever I planted so I built a raised bed.

Shit dog breeds that shouldn't exist.
(For ethical reasons or just personal opinion.)

My choice is the Toadline and pug, the Toadline because it looks horrific, it was bred for fighting, and no dog should be that low to the ground. The Pug because it has trouble breathing because of the squashed face.
Pic is of a Toadline.

Anyone have any experience with blind dogs? There's an adorable one at my local humane society (picture included) who has been there for over a year now. I want to adopt him once I get a chance to visit him a few times but I'm not quite sure what challenges we'll face. He's a retriever/lab mix and the humane society says he's very friendly but I'm still not quite sure. Anyone have any advice or experience they're willing to share?

Any problems with aggression? I know I couldn't get mad at the dog for it but is it common (at least for the dogs you know) to get scared and react by biting/scratching in the direction of the noise that startled them?

I already have a Sun Conure, and he's a lot of work on his own as it is. I guess I've never really been that interested in small birds like that.

Birbs are cool but the thought of one living in a cage makes me sad.

Brought this baby home.
Little girl needs a name. I'm not very good at coming up with them.

She's very soft. Calm and affectionate during the day, playful and wild at night. Still getting to know her.
