I just got this cactusboye
Its my first cactus
Any tips?
Is the web-like stuff normal?
I just know i'm supposed to water it once a week and repot it as soon as i can
>>2441933
the boy you got there has a fleshy body which holds a lot of water.
hence once a week might be total overkill. Cactuses are the perfect NEET plants, basically the happiest if you just forget about them.
I won one on a fair ~7 years ago and half-heartedly placed the little nigger on the window pane, it had some sort of blue blossom on top which was fake and fell off after a while.
Since it was behind my curtains I forgot about it for weeks before I watered it again, and the cycle repeats to this day.
Did repot it though since the small shit they gave it to me in refused to stand up after some time.
Now the main cactus shriveled after blossoming for 6 straight years (in red btw), but it left me with three smaller bros which now reside in a huge ass pot, still on a window pane where I remember them like once a month when I pay rent and clean the windows.
dont water it a lot. wait for the soil to be totally dry. if you overwater it it will either rot from the roots or split open.
put it outside if its not freezing, most desert cacti like full sun.
Hey /an/! I picked up a beautiful pit mix puppy from the pound for my wife and I about an hour ago! ~16 weeks old, they believe it's a pitbull mixed with a feral cane corso that was impregnating some pitbulls in the back of someone's yard. I don't have a camera on my phone, so I'll have to wait until my wife gets home for pictures. It looks a bit like pic related but more brown/bronze, with cute floppy little ears.
What should I name him?

Decided on a name. Argos, after Odysseus' dog.
Karl Staaff, named after the prime minister of Sweden 1905 through 1906 AND 1911 through 1914
>Oh you a have a cat, cool! What's his name?
>It's Schrodinger
>Schrodinger's Schrodinger
>>2441593
Dude, I wanted to call my cat Schrodinger McKitten.
Schrodinger's Dog. Is both a good dog and a bad dog, until observed.
Why do people think brachycephalic dogs are cute? Mesaticephalic and dolichocephalic are vastly superior in aesthetics, health, and temperament.
What drives people to enjoy the flat-face and be blind to the glaring problems that come with it?
>STOP LIKING WHAT I DON'T LIKE

What don't you get?
You can even see the GOOD BOY in his face
>tfw I like shih tzus
Now that the dust has settled, can we agree he did nothing wrong?
>Implying animals ever do wrong

So humans can't do wrong?

Bees kill over 4 times that many people in the US every year. We should ban them. You know, for public safety.
"Researchers at the University of Manitoba studied Winnipeg’s pitbull ban and found that hospitalizations for dog bites went down overall in Manitoba after the ban."
Leland Gordon, chief operating officer at Winnipeg Animal Services, said he believes the ban is working and should stay in place.
“Why would we want to take that risk?” he says. “There’s lots of other dogs that would make great pets,” he added.
You should only allow it for experiences dig owners and make it illegal for niggers and dumb ghetto gangstas
Got my mom complaining about a mystery bug in her bathroom
Location is northeast oklahoma if you can identify it i would be most grateful.

assassin bug
>>2441179
Specifically, a species of Triatoma; which is still an assassin bug, but they're an ectoparasite on mammals like mosquitos. They require a bloodmeal to reproduce and are known to spread certain diseases further south like Chaga's.
Picking up a male Boerboel puppy for $2,500 tomorrow morning. By far the largest dog I'll have ever owned, since my last dog was a 95lb gsd.
I'm excited.

>paying $2500 for a dog
A sucker is born every minute, all right.
>>2440920
Where does this breed come from what is special about them that warrants that price? More importantly why didn't you get a good boy or girl from the shelter?
>bought a giant fighting dog for two and a half thousand dollars
What do you lads know about toads?

How the fuck have you managed to grow up without ever seeing a goddamn cricket? What the hell is wrong with you?
I would totally be a biologist if it was in any way profitable.
Why do you love animals? And what is your favorite.
After the Human my favorite animal is the Dog. We created this animal. We took an apex predator and made it into our best friend that has been with us for centuries through this crazy trip we call human existence.
>>2440655
My favorite animal is your mom.
I love her because she does this thing with my ass (no homo) when she sucks my dick.

yeah, that's total bullshit. I wouldn't expect much better from 4chan. you can't show up to work like, "after human, my favorite animal is the dog," and ask for a paycheck, though.

My mother...
>>2440597
Three month old killer whale calf, the last to have been born before the orca breeding ban, is kill.
Supposedly she was being treated for an infection, but her condition deteriorated within several days and she stopped eating entirely.
Also, this is what her grandmother currently looks like. She suffers from a bunch of infections as well and her skin is pretty much being eaten away by some bacterial stuff that doesn't respond to any antibiotics.
Doesn't seem like she has much longer.
>>2440548
What is up with their filtration? Are they resistant to ozonators as well?
>>2440555
Orcas shit fucking massive amounts
I'm in college and have no idea what I want to do with my life
Any cool careers pertaining to the outdoors?
I'm a science teacher. As a career, it has a good bit to do with the outdoors. I can take the kids outside to observe nature, plan field trips, and do cool shit with animals and plants.
But the real plus side is summers off. Dude. You have no idea how amazing it is to have 3 months off during the most beautiful season to be outside, and to still get paid. It almost feels like cheating.
It almost makes up for the 9 months of hell.
>>2440376
What grade do you teach?
Income?
What do I have to do to become a science teacher?
Give up your dreams like I did. Go into finance. That's where the money is. You're not a man if you don't make $100k a year at least.
I think it may be less the cucumber and more the thing attached to that painted nails manhand
They look like snakes
I wish I had cats so I could scare them with fruit
