stupid cats
Cats! You gotta love them. They get up to the wackiest shenanigans don't they!
>eating dinner with me and my mom
>cat walks in from outside
>brings in a rat from outside with it's guts hanging out clinging to life by a thread
>starts tossing it around the living room
>had to bring it outside and beat it to death with a shovel to put it out of its misery
>then threw it in a trash can
will grabbing an adult cat by the scruff of his neck hurt him?
depends on how hard you grab, but lifting will for sure
>>2442739
For a short time no. But some cats stop breathing when they get grabbed that way so keep it short.
>>2442739
No, but you need to support the body, you can't lift it by the scruff like your pic.

Dogs don't really have a lot of say in the people that will own them.

>
yeah like is not their fault to kill but the people to brought em to society
>>2442574
I hate the type of moron who owns a known dangerous breed of dog and feigns shock when it attacks a person/animal and comes out with the old cliche "He's never done that before"
What should I do about my Islamic dog?
>>2442572
Feed your dog bacon.
does he like snackbars?
>>2442572
Torture and kill him, that's what Muslims tend to do with dogs.
Well /an/, my doggo has a tumor in her cheek. Biopsy won't come back for two weeks. Gave the vet the classic "give it to me straight" and he said it's most likely squamous cell carcinoma. She's only a year old, but the tumor went from slight swelling and an enlarged lymph node last week to severe swelling and several swollen lymph nodes throughout her body today. Any vets want to give me a hopeful alternative to keep my hopes up until the results come in?
>inb4 wait for results
I know, but since I'm going to torture myself anyways I figured I may as well ask fellow /an/imorphs for moral support.
My dog has the same cancer aperently ig the tumor does not spread and is visable in the nose area it is more likely to be treated and go into remission
>>2442519
The fact that it's spread to her lymph nodes seems like it complicates things. Also he only said that's what he thinks is most likely, he also brought up bone cancer and mast cell (although he said this was pretty low on his list of potential diagnoses). Fingers crossed it hasn't metastasized, or that it's a weird benign tumor.
Totally forgot to add she's only a year old, which makes this really weird and shitty.
the fuck are they doing?

I would like to find where i can buy a raccoon, im interesting to buy it and know how much it is
>>2442361
You have no business owning a wild animal as a pet if you can't find one on your own.
Owning a raccoon is like owning a smelly, destructive cat that has hands. Yes, they're cute. But they do not make good pets.
Domesticated animals have been bred so they are okay with new people and new situations. If you get a wild animal as a pet, it will never be truly domesticated. Be prepared for it to not understand to use a litterbox or how to keep a house clean. be prepared for it to scent mark everything. Be prepared for it to be incredibly stressed by new people and new situations and get anxious and/or aggressive and/or destructive if it sees someone new or you have to move. Be prepared to never receive any medical help for it, including vital vaccinations such as against rabies. be prepared for your pet to be euthanized if it ever has even a chance of catching rabies. Be prepared for your pet to be euthanized if you ever can't take care of it and have to surrender it, since it can't be rehomed. And no, you can't just bring it to a wildlife sanctuary.

>>2442351
Could be retained baby teeth or a reabsorbed tooth causing him discomfort. Id take him in to a vet and have them look at it

do turtles dream?
>>2442201
of course they do
>>2442201
Not only do turtles dream, they control the tides and the weather. Only beings that can live over 100 years can truly understand the weather.
>>2442226
I believe it. If there is such a thing as a near immortal species that subtly controls the planet, I figure they'd be similar is anatomy and temperament to a very old turtle.
Cute doggo/pupper thread? Cute doggo/pupper thread. I will start.

ITT /an/ discusses endangered animals and ways to help them
>>2442083
The military should exterminate 95% of humans
That would preserve a future for endangered animals and their ecosystems
>>2442119
And they say /an/ is out of touch with reality....
We need to secure habitat for them now so that we may re-release captive bred animals back into their native range in the future. That seems like the best hope, and it's evident in how popular and increasingly popular the frozen zoo is with conservation groups.
