I was prescribed terbinafine for a fungal toe nail. After 2 months on the drug my toe nail was hanging off. It just stopped growing at the base.

The nail bed is now exposed. I went to a nurse yesterday and she ripped it off and dressed it. Telling me to keep the dressing on for 3 days. I will get it dressed again Monday and see a doctor Tuesday.

How fucked am I? It seems Like there is a little bit of new nail growing at the base but honestly I was so grossed out by it that I didn't want to look at it.

yes but is it going to grow back fucked up or keep falling off? i'm staying on the drug to keep the fungal infection at bay. just worried i'm going to look like a freak.
