I'm currently unemployed, been like this for a long while now. The girl I like knows this. Can I still ask her out or should I get a job first?
And are the words I use and the whole situation when and where I'm asking her out important to define whether she'll say yes or no?
Is going for coffee a good first date thing? And how long should it be between when I ask her and the day of the date?
I've known the girl for a year now, we are basically friends but not too close or anything. Is it okay to ask her out or should have there been some more noticeable chemistry between the two by now?
It wouldn't be the first time I ask someone out but I've never been this worried about rejection before.

You could ask her out anyways but your chances would be a lot better if you got a job first. Though if you have to ask if you should have noticed chemistry after a year I think your chances are quite low anyhow. Ask her to something casual and try and get some chemistry off of hanging out
