/adv/, has anyone here dealt with soft erections at an early age? I'm 23 and have that problem, in addition to a loss of morning wood.

I was scripted generic viagra by my doc which helps. It's still really annoying that I have to use this shit at such an early age.

I did a bunch of tests and the doc said they all came back normal (testosterone, blood pressure, cholesterol). I'm not overweight (5'10 140 lbs) and I work out 3-5 days/week.

I donno, I'm really depressed and stressed about it and wondering if anyone's dealt with something similar.

Anyone else had this issue?

Did you ever regain the ability to have natural, full erections?

How do you deal with a literal loss of manhood?

yes, i have. i was greatly stressed and had constantly a bad mood. it had psychological reasons and i went to psychotherapy.

I went through this myself.

This can be caused by physical or emotional issues. Since physical is easier to deal with, try that first. Increased exercise helps. Zinc and potassium helped me. Also check out this webmd article a-to-z-guides/prevention-15/vitamins/sex-drive-supplements.

If that fails, next see a doctor. Turned out I had a distended vas deferens partially blocking blood flow. I was fortunate that I could manipulate it from outside as a temporary fix, otherwise this requires surgery.

If all the above fails, it's either depression or psychological. Either way therapy is your best bet.

Also have your doctor check your hormone levels. Make sure your testosterone is
high enough and not too much estrogen. And lay off grains, particularly wheat. Avoid
meats grown with hormones (organic not necessary, just no hormones).

Agree with it can be in your head, but it can also be a sign of serious cardiac-circulatory issues.

Since the doc gave viagra I assume they did a cardiac stress test but probably didn't investigate vascular disease because it's unlikely in someone young and fit, but not uncommon.

1) See your doctor. I'm 99% sure you're fine, but it'll help you mentally to have a medical professional test you and tell you you're fine, physically.

2) When your doctor gets back to you, and you know there's nothing wrong physically, leave your penis alone. Don't try to test it, don't try to fix it. Leave it alone. You've stressed yourself out, so forget about sex and take it as an opportunity to focus on other stuff you like. No wanking.

I'm pretty sure you'll start getting erections naturally just as part of being young and horny and holding off masturbating. Then you'll see your penis works fine. which will then help to alleviate the anxiety, which I suspect is causing it.

Heres another catch. If you masturbate with a soft penis then your mind will take that as you dont need a hard penis to ejaculate. Have fun with that.
But in order to masturbate with a soft penis you have to go a lot harder. Try going no fap for 3 months and if you MUST fap, no porn obviously, and gently touch yourself with your left hand. Do not squeeze at all. Just have your hand barely touching.

Was this supposed to mean anything. 35 days 45-50 minutes of aerobic activity is what you need. If you want to be healthier you need more. You seem to be under the impression that doing the bare minimum is enough. Thats not how the body works. Sometimes it takes more.
Is your 3 mile time under 21 minutes. If it is Ill shut up.

Yeah, what I meant by that is that I work out 5 days/week most weeks with two of those days being 35 minutes of pure cardio and on the other days that I lift weights I do 10 minutes of cardio to warm up. Basically just wanted to point out that it's not like I'm sitting around on my ass 7 days a week the bitching about ED.

You're right though, I guess I just need to try doing more & see if that works.
