Hi, I need money and was really hoping to get a job that pays more then minimum wage. I make 9.75 at my DQ, which isn't bad at all, but I'm getting tired of fast food. I'm thinking about getting a job in roofing that pays 12/hr. It's hard work but I don't mind. Is there anything else I could do that doesn't require a degree and pays decent, I'm going to college right now.
Carpentry is a fast growing industry that pays well and there's a ton of opportunity for upward mobility within the company. Try talking to your local carpenters to see if you can land an apprenticeship.
