sit down and write out ways you can make new friends. go to meetup.com and find meetsups you can attend. look at the craigslist interest section every other day and see what meeting up options exist for your interests and area. go to hobby shops that cater to your hobby and talk there, as well as go go to their events. then by next year you have a list of people to invite.

in the mean time, start spamming /soc/ and /b/ and any other board you frequent with meet up threads, saying you are throwing a /b/irthday party.
