I have some mental issues (apparently) and sometimes when I'm having a particularly difficult day I feel like it'd help to talk about them. My family have brought me up to think that going to a psychologist/therapist makes you weak (me personally, I don't think other people are weak for going) and as I've got older I've become more introverted and closed off. I tried installing some stupid app where you can anonymously talk to someone but as soon as they asked what was wrong, I disconnected like a little bitch. What can I do?
Wow, OP. This is real funny.
See a psychiatrist. Your parents raised you to think like this because they're fools.
It's like if you had a kidney problem and didn't see a doctor because people with kidney problems are weak.

What?

They're not fools, they're just from a different culture. I would go regardless but (as stupid as this sounds) I don't really know how to talk to people about issues and I'm not particularly open to it either. It's really difficult for me, and I don't have the money to waste on however many sessions until I feel more comfortable.
