There is always a huge writer's block. It prevents writing stories that I always wanted to write. Now I create for fun 5 Kingdoms after Magic colors and suddenly the ideas flow. Even ideas for plots.
Attempt to write "original" story: Hello writer's block
Magic: The Gathering Fanfiction: No Writer's block
Is this pathetic?

yes. fanfiction is fine for what it is, but you cant write an original story becuase you simply dont care about them. i had a friend who longed to be a great novelist. she thought it'd be easy. checked in after a whole year. hadnt written a single original chapter. but her fanfiction was flourishing.

Simple. Write fan fiction that strays from source material, change names, and there you go! It worked for Alan Moore and Rebecca Sugar, why won't it work for you?

orly? what did rebbecca sugar fanfict then turn into?

Peridot is Zim from an Invader Zim fanfic she wrote where he turns good. I'll look for source.

>becuase you simply dont care about them
How do you mean?

Writer's block per se doesn't exist. It's just you being too much of a pussy to write. Also fan fiction is beyond pathetic.

Sounds like the best solution although if you struggle so much with it ... why do you even bother to write?
>>16787960
oh wow that actually makes sense. i didnt catch that.

>why do you even btoher to write
kind of this. i think everyone should have a creatively fulfilling hobby, but most of the 'writers' i meet seem to have perpetual writers block. like you're supposed to have it on every single thing you write. thats not how it works.

Also worked for that chick who wrote fifty shades of gray.
