i tend to get upset when i discover that something i purchased was a waste, mostly because im at a time in my life where i dont have anything resembling a savings. even if i pinch pennies id save 65 dollars a month only. but as you can imagine, i end up spending those on a random expense like new hangers, new plugs, shower hooks, an appliance etc... but anytime i do something like that or especially when i splurge and realize its all for not, it upsets me.

so yeah. others feel this way. not much you can do but try to be more cautious about what you spend your money on. i try to wait out like 2 or 3 weeks and do research before my purchase, but i often find myself not having researched something apparently important and fucking myself over.

spent 800 dollars on a moped. ended up losing 800 more because of it.

Yeah. One time I had a pair of shoes that were absolutely shredded from skateboarding. I threw them out but I felt bad because they did a good job. I anthropomorphize stuff too much.
