Do...Do you think it will change over there?
Not unless you make an effort to make things different
If you couldn't make friends in a more lax and friendly atmosphere in community college, what makes you think that you will make any friends in a more serious, rigid intuition in university?

I mean how, I ask people to hang in class, they are always busy and older than me
I join clubs but they meet bi-monthly
I go to events but everyone already has their cliques.
What the fuck can I do differently?

Sorry m8
VERY similar situation over here. Im 18 and im going to UMass Amherst next semester after a semester of community college. Im also pretty much the same looks-wise at around 5'6". I know exactly how you feel. The best thing you can do is just try to practice starting up conversations. we're in this together so lets not fuck it up

OP, do you happen to go to SDMesa College?
21/M Comp Sci, same fucking problem.
Why don't you try job hunting and get a job if you have the time? Both things will force you to come out as a more social person. Shit did wonders for me after living the NEET lyfe for 7-8 months after getting out of highschool. I can talk to normies no prob now, made some good friends and almost got a qt asian gf. and this shit was only my first semester in community college. funny enough I'm also in SD.

Currently an undergrad here, hopefully you at least find a club that interests you if you really lack so much persistance.
