I get all hyped up to learn a new skill or be productive, then I'm not.
I want to be more comfortable speaking, write more, learn programming, start exercising, and even when I break it into small steps, I get deflated and I just can't do it.
how about this:
tell someone who you like and don't want to embarrass yourself in front of how good you are at programming and writing,
then get really good at programming in order to avoid embarrassment
I feel like there are more websites to learn coding, i do have the same problem though. Progress reports to a friend makes me stick to things though, especially when they're involved too, because I'd be letting them down if I stop.
I'm not much into wanting to make a game. Maybe if it was a certain programming language or a real language; courses online even.
This can help too, by possibly promising an end product by a certain date, you won't let that person down and end up completing something.
Or you can use Nathan:
