Most people have been told their whole lives that needing something is more important than wanting something, but thats not exactly the case, see when you want something you'll do more to get it then you would if you needed it cause most first world countries have everything you NEED for survival which is the only real needs, they can also co-exist like how i need food but i also want it cause you know, some stuff is fire af but basically what im saying is that if you want something you'll put more effort towards that goal

Yeah you might not put as much passion in aquiring food as you do in finding love or building a career. However thats precisely because its so easy to get food. If getting food became hard for some reason (Like getting lost in the wilderness for several days or something) you'd very soon start "wanting" food quite alot.
