Most people have been told their whole lives that needing something is more important than wanting something, but thats not exactly the case, see when you want something you'll do more to get it then you would if you needed it cause most first world countries have everything you NEED for survival which is the only real needs, they can also co-exist like how i need food but i also want it cause you know, some stuff is fire af but basically what im saying is that if you want something you'll put more effort towards that goal

That's not true, the entire economy of the west is built on 'want' with cleaver marketing to make that want a need.
>>
you only think about it that way until you lack something you need for a while. only then you'll truly know what it means to "want" something.

Im saying general living needs are provided given you have money or a kind hand

True needs, not needy wants

Important how? Of course you prioritize basic needs over more frivolous things, because your fullfilling those allows one to sustain themselves.

Yeah you might not put as much passion in aquiring food as you do in finding love or building a career. However thats precisely because its so easy to get food. If getting food became hard for some reason (Like getting lost in the wilderness for several days or something) you'd very soon start "wanting" food quite alot.
