Does xanax fuck you up? My doctor recommended I get a prescription

It helped with my anhedonia as well. The abilify was for my psychotic symptoms, the Zoloft for the depression and suicidality

It made me sleepy until I got used to it, then slowly started feeling full range of emotions and getting more productive and slowly weened myself off. Very positive experience. Only took it for a year or so.

Anhedonia is basically when you don't feel anything, nothing makes you happy or really feel any emotion at all.

Xanax is more of an anti anxiety that will make you mentally slow. I'd try an SSRI or something instead if you don't have anxiety attacks. Just be aware that SSRIs have a good bit of side effects. Some of them stick around after you quit taking them. On a long term basis it's better to use SSRIs instead of benzos.
